Miss you around the stomping ground, would see you filming around west lakes often. Wish you could give me fishing lessons If not be good to see you post. Hope you're well
Hey dude! I appreciate that a lot. Unfortunately I’m working away from Adelaide, but I will try get some footage here. And when I’m back I’ll hopefully get back on the bandwagon.
Hiya Alex, been watching your shows for a long time and enjoyed them to the max as you remind me of my young life as a fisherman. My main target species was Mulloway but I have loved catching bream, Salmon and Yellowfin Whiting. I even landed a 10.5 pound Tailor of Waitpinga beach. I have caught many tailor over on the east coast but that was the only one I have caught in South Australia. As I said Mulloway was my number one target species and I must have caught thousands of them with my largest was 50 pounds. My record was 112 jewies in one night. I am not far off 77 now and watching your videos is prompting me to head off fishing again...I may go down to Westlakes as I live not far from there. Btw if you are interested in low priced fishing gear, lines, lures, hard body and soft plastics please let me know. My son's an importer and he can get Shimano reels, rods etc like Stella 5000 for $250, Shimano Altega 3000 for $150 or any brand or size you want. I have Stella 5000, Sedona 5000 and Penn and Ambassador reels and they are amazing. Just let me know Alex. If there is a way I can give you my address privately I would. All the best Gordy.
Really appreciate this kind message Gordy. And that’s brilliant. Heard plenty of stories of the odd big tailor in SA. especially down south that way and west coast. Sounds like you’ve had some extraordinary fishing experiences. You can flick me a message through Facebook or instagram to contact me privately if you would like. Cheers mate.
You reckon you can make a video on these? I’m a beginner trying to fish and not sure how to attach jig head, do you think this will word well with a spinning reel or caster because I’m going next week.
nice one, im doing something similar, im trying fishing in my boat without a top cover on my sounder, then with a top cover on my sounder, which has been lovingly signed by a young up and coming youtube celebrity..... will see if it gives me any extra luck :P
Alex when a sign says no fishing, it don't mean you put your rod over the line and cast into that direction. If you're not going to follow our rules go back to your own country.
I would say, being an intelligent adult, that Alex IS in his own country. However, a fine young gentleman like him is always welcome here in Adelaide, unlike some miserable busybodies!
Awesome video bro! Absolute pleasure to have a flick with ya man, was a wild session! 🤙🏽🎣
Hi Alex, missing your videos( especially catch and cook vids). Hope you’re well and okay and you come back to posting soon
Merry Christmas Alex and family , best SA fishing show .
Take care Gaz
Merry Christmas to you too Gary. Hope the new year brings plenty of joy and fish!

If not be good to see you post. Hope you're well
I love your westlakes videos, keep up the good work 👍
When going for Australian salmon in south Australia do you think a 1-3kg rod with a 1000s reel with 6 pound braid would be to light
Alex can you please upload videos again? I love your videos and I would love to see more new ones. Thank you!

That was a pretty nice session. I would have expected you to run into a flattie or two along the sandy stretches.

You're brram are way more like a bass than ours in NSW . They're long and thinner . 😮✔👍🎣
Noice 👍👍

If you are referring to the sign on the timber log fence at 18:33 it says 'No public access . Public walkway this way⬅.' It does NOT say no fishing .
@@Yeahnaahh No public access means private property, You cant fish across the line over the line
pipe down
I live at westlakes, lower your bogan tone when you speak to me @@ryanottens8540
