I would recommend getting an oil pan brace or an aftermarket oil pan because chances are the factory one is warped and may just keep leaking. Also if you dont need emissions I would delete all that. It really cleans up the engine some. I also recommend a compression test if you haven't already done that

Thanks man ill look into the emissions delete as well as the oil pan brace. The guy i bought the engine from showed me it running and driving before i bought it from him so i know it at least runs. The engine was a good deal so im not too worried about the compression numbers, although it would be a good idea to find out. Im hoping to get at least a year out of it before it needs a rebuild because thats around the time that i want to do a single turbo setup with some engine port work done. Thanks for the info man! I never thought about the emissions delete, i have the cats removed but i think they have air injection pumps and egr lines into the intake or something like that so ill definitely look into it! 🤘

In my opinion it's a good idea to get as much stuff off the engine as possible so it can release heat easier and stay cooler.
Once you go single turbo it really cleans up the engine and you can remove the rats nest of vaccum hoses.
I also reccomend dual oil coolers if you dont already have them.. just get ready to spend a lot of money haha. It just keeps adding up. But it's worth it man!

Yeah the vacuum lines need to go lol. I got another oil cooler with the engine so i can hook it up and run two of them. I just got done cleaning off the block and it looks like the oil fill neck doesnt have a gakset on it so that has to be the leak. I might leave the oil pan alone for now unless i can find a new one that will be able to be delivered in time. But yeah man i love this car so im ready to spend alot of money to get it the way i want! Thanks for the advice man, if you see anything else in future videos that i should buy please let me know!

My apex seals went out at a 100k. I also had trouble with Oiler thing. I can’t remember the name, it’s been 20+ years, but the thing that squirts oil into the intake to lubricate the apex seals.

The oil metering pump! I dont know how to check and see if mine is working properly but ill definitely look up how to do it. I plan on premixing idemitsu oil in the gas as extra lubrication in case the OMP fails. Thanks for the advice man! I need advice from people who have experience so if theres anything else you see that i need in the videos, please let me know 🤘

Yeah, that thing. I wonder if I had premixed or used “upper cylinder lubricant” would mine had lasted longer. Can’t hurt, do you need emissions? I miss mine, especially when I hear loud exhausts with no go, mine lacked some torque but once moving it screamed

I live in florida so we dont have emission testing. I already have a cat free exhaust but i dont know if my engine has an egr system that i could delete. But yeah there’s nothing like a rotary screaming at higher rpm’s! I love them
