I LOVED the squad of David, Daffney and Crowbar, I thought david played that unhinged "Cleatus Cassidy" role great!.. being the exact opposite of what Ric's character was, if anything I think that should of been embraced and built up on, instead of wwe sending him down to developmental and trying to mold him into, dare i call it, a natural born thrillers look/style and it never going anywhere

Eric calling Lenny Lane a Chris Jericho wannabe is funny because Lenny pretended to be Jericho in a match in WCW. I think he was wearing a mask and wrestling one of the Mexican cruiserweights that Jericho was feuding with at the time. Lenny and Jericho were in on it.

Btw, that "little clown that [Meltzer] hangs out with" has been pretty sour with AEW lately. As for Tony relying on his current roster and not more free agents, that's where investing in a quality booking staff comes into play. Even Paul Heyman could get the most indy rific guys over in a big way so the right minds can get it done.
