Dynasty was in st. louis don't watch AEW weekly but i'm less than 30 min away and didn't hear a peep about it locally or get a location based ad for it on social media i would've went to just check it out if I knew 😂

@2:47:20 Eric. I'm so glad you asked that question. To answer it. The Hangman Page storyline from before Dynamite launched to him winning the world title. I honestly find it hard to believe that the AEW of today is the same company that put that storyline down. It was FAR from perfect, but it was one of the better wrestling storylines I've seen in a long time. A years long, long-term story, with details and callbacks, with a satisfying payoff. It checked those boxes.

I went to see Celebrity Wrestling for ITV in the UK around 2003/4. One of the worst days of my life😂 Never go and see taped TV, you sit there for hours, not allowed to move, you are hungry you need the bathroom, and nothing is going on most of the time. They filmed some crowd shots of us early on then films bits of the show with zero crowd interaction from the wrestlers and celebrities. Here in the UK Roddy Piper was the presenter. The show was cancelled after like three episodes.

Well to answer the question why cant we just watch the matches and talk about whether they were good or not. Because Khan keeps making the whole damn company look like a joke and distracting from why people tune in which is supposed to be the fuckin show and the matches. But if you really want a match analysis from someone. No they arent worth a shit. The wrestlers look unmotivated most times. And many of them have no sense of being over. Heel or baby face. No one gives a shit about the weak story lines and beefs.
I stopped watching AEW before Punk was released. I just think it’s a bad product. Overall it’s just a sloppy mess.
It’s literally why I gave up on it like six months in. I realized I do not like any of these dudes other than mjf and Cody, and there was no sign it’d ever get better. And it hasn’t.
Conrad has _definitely_ been told about CGMs. You’re telling me his doctor hasn’t been hounding him about losing weight and counseling him about his diabetic status for years?!

Eric is right about Tony Kahn creating division between wrestling fans. Not only are their shots at wwe pathetic, why even bother when there have been so many empty seats at AEW shows? It's also pathetic to hear every other promo on dynamite taking a shot at WWE, even you can even call those shots, they just embarrass themselves.

Ted Turner running WCW from his empire at a distance was like watching a KING rule his fucking kingdom compared to what Khan has going on!! AEW just turned Tony into an on screen character...and did the opposite of what y'all suggested.
Look man, if people weren’t of one brand or the other. There would be no need for anyone to compete against the #wwe but the problem is #aew can not compete with WWE. Tony Kahn doesn’t have the brains to compete with that machine. So he shouldn’t try. 100% he shouldn’t try. He should just continue to try to fill the niche that wwe doesn’t if one actually exists . But he and AEW should stop trying to compete or go head to head with wwe they just need to be different and hope it catches on.
It's incredible just how unlikeable AEW has made itself.
People always complain about Jinder Mahals promo skills but what is the dude even given by the creative team to play with or showcase? They give the man the same old instructions of being the stereotypical foreign heel who is meant to always bitch about America and abuse the audience and he obviously needs to abide by that. But that gets old quick. If his character was 3 dimensional and given more of a story I'm sure his promo skills would be better because he would have the damn opportunity to showcase something. Take any decent promo cutter and imagine if the WWE creative gave him the same instructions every time. "Go in the ring and bitch about america". It might be ok the first time but not the 10th time. WWE creative never really gave Jinder anything to work with. His character has been the same since day 1. Nothing evolved on the creative front.

Who cares? Come on Conrad. Regardless of audience what story is being told at AEW? The CM Punk story basically. Before that "the devil"....which landed with a wet THUD. They dont use talent well, the booking makes no sense. Its a perfect pick up put down program because its always chaotic even when you try to follow in good faith. Very hard to defend no matter how good a few matches are.
