There is no use of holding a plank for 4 minutes. Don't waste your time with this. If you can hold it that long, it's not challenging enough and you are just wasting your time. In this case you need to adjust the plank a bit, adding some sort movement to it as per your wish. Then it will be perfect. You can do a plank hold up to 2 minutes. Everything beyond that is mere nonsense. But yeah, whatever is giving you pleasure :D.

You're so lucky I've been looking for this pain for several years now even adding weight is not enough anymore 😭 Btw, the more pain you feel, the more effective is your workout. 😉👍
Same thing here. last week I did this workout and had to constantly stop and give myself longer rest periods. Now when I did it just earlier, I had a stronger mindset and I knew I could do it, and I ended up getting through the whole thing with just about 5 rest rewinds and 3 or 4 quick rests mid set. I'm getting stronger, no doubt about it.
When I got to the 4 min plank I was expecting to only make it to the first min. But I was able to hold the 4 mins with no breaks!!!!! I mean I was shaking like an earthquake but I did it! Thanks Caroline for challenging me!😊
I already exercise 30-60 minutes a day and have gone from a size 14 to a size 5 in less than a year. After 3 kids, no thyroid, and I have multiple sclerosis, this is a great workout! I am adding this video to my routine a few times a week. I do have to modify a little by resting for a couple of seconds between movements. I focus on mobility, strength training, toning, as well as stability. Exercise keeps me moving.
I just did the workout and OMG this woman has a core of steel. I was dying after 20 seconds of pretty much every workout and im in decent shape. She did the entire thing without breaking sweat it seems. MAD RESPECT
I'm a triathlete on a 12 week training schedule for my first race of the season in late May. Your core and total body workouts compliment my regimen. I quit going to the gym when C-19 hit and changed a room into a home-gym. Pre-season (winter), I discovered your workouts and added them to other strength/weight videos. Pre-season workouts are all about building total strength, balance and core so when the endurance training starts, the body is primed. I like that you don't talk during the workouts. I can really zone in to my effort. I wish others would stop filling space with unnecessary chatter. I don't need encouragement or "You're doing great!" comments. I-fit is the worst about that, but that's another thing! Thank you for offering quality and true athleticism to the world. I've been a competitive triathlete for 15 years. I'll be celebrating my 65th birthday this coming August. Yahoo!!!!

This is my 4th day of doing this, and I feel like I’m seeing results already!! I’m fairly slim but get bloated easily, and I can definitely see a difference. I had a hard time doing the exercises on day 1, but I’ve built up to being able to do all the exercises except the full 4 min plank, I’m slowly building up for that one :)
I did it. I held the 4 min, without puttingmy knees Down, just a few turns from left to right. I have been doing the workout regularly for a couple of month now and it is so incredibly effective. Thanks

This is what I like, when people keep the moves that are on your back together instead of always swapping from back to hands. This is what made me lose motivation in the Chloe Ting challenge.
Your abs workouts are by far the best ever! After two long and very major abdominal surgeries, aside from scars, I would never know I had them!! My core has gained so much strength and tone. I swear by your workouts! I think doing total body training with you (along with a low inflammation diet) helps with keeping a leaner belly and with definition, but this plank challenge has been a huge part of it too. The planks are getting intense haha. I paired this with your 15 min weighted full body hiit. Fun, quick, and effective!! Thank you again!

Probably the best ABS set you will ever do. Caroline your finesse is something else and that focuses me on my form keeping the same pace and while this looks effortless your ABS will be melting after this 30mins. There is never a workout that doesn't have a new variation which really shows the preparation and time that goes into every production. I'm so grateful we have this amazing content every day. The best challenge for my ab work out today. thanks bunch i started praying at 3:40 plank challenge and i made it through, you will never how strong you are until you do it and apply it. i just need to keep pushing the daily eating, it’s not a challenge it’s a push. Ok this is probably the BEST Core Workout for 30 min I’ve seen so far. You plank last and you don’t make it a “overall” exercise. Which I personally do not think really helps to start toning or re-toning your core. These exercises are centered on Abs, which is all I need to really strength core, so eventually it supports the other workouts the way it should. As a ex-workout buff, turned Mom that suffered from moderate Diastsis Recti. This is EXACTLY what I needed… THANK YOU 🙏🏾 🤗
This workout is legit. About halfway through I was thinking this isn't too bad, and then it really hit me lol. Almost got the 4 minute plank! Just 10 seconds short.
Honestly, one of the best abs workout here (it really define your abs). I've been doing it for the past year and every time there's always a point where I have to scream in my head YOU JUST KEEP GOING. I did this workout everyday for a week when I didnt have time to do more or go to the gym and didn't lose any strength + my abs were still amazing. Thanks Caroline Xx

Idk who needs to hear this but... you don't need to workout to eat. if you look in the mirror with negative thoughts about yourself, you'll trick yourself into seeing them. No one is watching you eat, unless they cooked the food. If you don't "feel the burn" at first, it's alright. It doesn't always mean you're not working hard. Being hungry does not mean you are healthy. Taking rest days will not make you fat, it will repair damaged muscle. You can indulge in your favorite foods; a cupcake will not make you gain 25 pounds. Stop treating it as if it will. Ily, stay safe guys

The plank challenge is a burner damn it hurts..for anyone who wanna easen you can try to mix different plank exercises 1. Plank with hip dips 2. Plank jacks Start and end with plank and add this variation it helps tons P.S Your workouts are the best they truly work ...lots of love

Came here after watching Linda Sun's video! I've been doing youtube workouts for 3-4 years now, and yours are by far the most fun and challenging! Would love if you gave some tips on when to breathe in/out/ flex your muscles in the beginning or maybe as a sidebar on breaks so that we're maximizing our workout time :) And I mean this in the nicest way possible, but seeing you struggle with some of the moves makes me so happy

I haven't been able to workout a lot recently bcs my school started and I was so motivated to start working out again. I'm glad to start with a no repeat ab workout bcs thats my faveee❤
I've lost 6-7kg and all thanks to her workouts ❤️ with every single days' struggle, I'm making good amount of progress. But, remember one thing: in a few weeks nothing can happen. You have to be consistent and keep going for months. I've been at this since April 2020

The first couple of times I attempted the 4min plank challenge I didn't get over 2min without taking a break. I actually did the full 4min this morning. Goes to show the program works and builds up strength so much.

i’ve been doing caroline’s workouts for a while now and this one didn’t hurt which is weird seeing as they usually kill me so i’ve either gotten stronger or my muscles have broken
Smashed it !:)) this was tough. Such a great feeling afterwards:) as for this week's 4 min plank - although never go to my knees, I still go into side plank position for a couple of seconds to rest my arms . So great , so good !!

This was THE most effective and enjoyable workout I've done all year!!! The music was fun and the workout itself was "easy"-(the movements were minimal but took a lot of effort and I didn't break a sweat) I can't believe I actually enjoyed a workout, thanks to you my abs will be coming soon ♥

I'd been wondering why I'd put this off for so long, and now having completed it, I have my answer. I tried this exercise a month or so ago and wasn't able to do all of the moves, and I certainly didn't even attempt the 4 minute plank at the end. I worked out with your channel the entire time and now I can do most of each exercise to the fullest and even did a good 2 minutes of the plank finisher!
I find myself often yelling at my PC "DAMN CAROLINE!" because I'm always so impressed with how she makes everything look so easy, I'll be the first to say this is the farthest thing from easy! I have to revisit just so I can completed the full workout, I got about 20 minutes in and gave half effort because I was TAPPED! No way I could do 4 minute plank after this right now. I'll be back! LOL thank you!

Your abs workouts are by far the best ever! After two long and very major abdominal surgeries, aside from scars, I would never know I had them!! My core has gained so much strength and tone. I swear by your workouts! I think doing total body training with you (along with a low inflammation diet) helps with keeping a leaner belly and with definition, but this plank challenge has been a huge part of it too. The planks are getting intense haha. I paired this with your 15 min weighted full body hiit. Fun, quick, and effective!! Thank you again!

Totally works!! I saw results very fast from this workout. I gain muscle though very fast so it might not be the same for others.
Probably the best ABS set you will ever do. Caroline your finesse is something else and that focuses me on my form keeping the same pace and while this looks effortless your ABS will be melting after this 30mins. There is never a workout that doesn't have a new variation which really shows the preparation and time that goes into every production. I'm so grateful we have this amazing content every day.

The best challenge for my ab work out today. thanks bunch i started praying at 3:40 plank challenge and i made it through, you will never how strong you are until you do it and apply it. i just need to keep pushing the daily eating, it’s not a challenge it’s a push. He is my source of strength daily

Ok this is probably the BEST Core Workout for 30 min I’ve seen so far. You plank last and you don’t make it a “overall” exercise. Which I personally do not think really helps to start toning or re-toning your core. These exercises are centered on Abs, which is all I need to really strength core, so eventually it supports the other workouts the way it should.
As a ex-workout buff, turned Mom that suffered from moderate Diastsis Recti. This is EXACTLY what I needed… THANK YOU 🙏🏾 🤗
This workout is legit. About halfway through I was thinking this isn't too bad, and then it really hit me lol. Almost got the 4 minute plank! Just 10 seconds short.
Honestly, one of the best abs workout here (it really define your abs). I've been doing it for the past year and every time there's always a point where I have to scream in my head YOU JUST KEEP GOING. I did this workout everyday for a week when I didnt have time to do more or go to the gym and didn't lose any strength + my abs were still amazing. Thanks Caroline Xx

you don't need to workout to eat.
if you look in the mirror with negative thoughts about yourself, you'll trick yourself into seeing them.
No one is watching you eat, unless they cooked the food.
If you don't "feel the burn" at first, it's alright. It doesn't always mean you're not working hard.
Being hungry does not mean you are healthy.
Taking rest days will not make you fat, it will repair damaged muscle.
You can indulge in your favorite foods; a cupcake will not make you gain 25 pounds. Stop treating it as if it will.

These are my daily workouts and I always do HIIT Sunday morning!! And a 1 hour full body every Friday! I change it up during the week so could be core or triceps etc! I hope you find lots of fun, challenge yourself and grow stronger!

Came here after watching Linda Sun's video! I've been doing youtube workouts for 3-4 years now, and yours are by far the most fun and challenging! Would love if you gave some tips on when to breathe in/out/ flex your muscles in the beginning or maybe as a sidebar on breaks so that we're maximizing our workout time :)

Caroline, I absolutely love this one! The 10 second rest with the preview of the next move is perfect. Enough to catch a breath, but short enough that it doesn't feel I am losing any of that great burn. And...I did the full 4 minutes of plank. Thank you so much for your workouts. I've lost 6-7kg and all thanks to her workouts ❤️ with every single days' struggle, I'm making good amount of progress. But, remember one thing: in a few weeks nothing can happen. You have to be consistent and keep going for months. I've been at this since April 2020

The first couple of times I attempted the 4min plank challenge I didn't get over 2min without taking a break. I actually did the full 4min this morning. Goes to show the program works and builds up strength so much.

This was THE most effective and enjoyable workout I've done all year!!! The music was fun and the workout itself was "easy"-(the movements were minimal but took a lot of effort and I didn't break a sweat) I can't believe I actually enjoyed a workout, thanks to you my abs will be coming soon ♥

I tried this exercise a month or so ago and wasn't able to do all of the moves, and I certainly didn't even attempt the 4 minute plank at the end. I worked out with your channel the entire time and now I can do most of each exercise to the fullest and even did a good 2 minutes of the plank finisher!
I find myself often yelling at my PC "DAMN CAROLINE!" because I'm always so impressed with how she makes everything look so easy, I'll be the first to say this is the farthest thing from easy! I have to revisit just so I can completed the full workout, I got about 20 minutes in and gave half effort because I was TAPPED! No way I could do 4 minute plank after this right now. I'll be back! LOL thank you!
My abs are on fire 🔥🔥🔥 now…. I held plank only for 2 minutes before and that to 2 years back, but I completed challenge and held for 4 minutes. Thanks Caroline for this workout video. ❤❤❤❤❤

✅8/19 - You look so graceful doing these moves (you always do!); that really shows your control and core strength. I always feel more burn when I match your tempo (except HIIT because you're super woman!!). The 4-minute plank was really difficult this morning. I did a few side to side planks to help.
