So crushed I missed this live (I was away on VACATION OKAY!) but so great to re-watch this now. Thank you YouTubs. * The slappy banter at the beginning was hilarious. * ONE of the reasons the Spellbound effect mentions that you can't cover up an opponent's final ability is for Dice Throne Adventures when you can be facing minions with only one ability. There are probably other situations where that could also come into effect, but it's a nice clarification just-in-case. * As a Canadian, I can confirm that we are constantly looking for new ways to apologize, and we're sorry about that, but it just feels right, okay. Sorry, not sorry. * Jake taking Becca's suggestions on her first THREE Illusions and correctly guessing the card that still hits Loki was hilarious. That's like a 1/27 percent chance of happening randomly. * Hearing that GTS will be doing more Marvel Dice Throne closer to the retail release makes me VERY happy. * Becca sells "Twice as Wild" ME: "Oh, right, only the best card in the whole game..." Hehe! * Loki WAS the best Marvel show, but Moon Knight was f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c as well. (I also really liked Wanda-Vision though) * Someone mentioned it was a long game -- your first time playing a new DT hero takes longer because you have to learn all the new abilities/strategies. You could also get sucked into analysis paralysis if you want to try to crunch every possible outcome after each roll. It's much faster after some experience playing, for sure. I think a game is often about 25-40 minutes. * I love the moment where a rules question comes up, and Both Becca and Jake flip over their leaflets and their questions are immediately resolved by the rules clarifications on there. That's good stuff. You love to see it. * Becca catches the "ON" rule when Jake tries to throw and retrieve Mjolnir from the same activation of Odinforce -- Excellent catch. * Becca rolls 3 sixes. She has a One More Time and a Six it. She plays the Six it BEFORE the One More Time, so that the One More Time only let's her roll one dice. Me: "Becca, you halved your odds of rolling a six!" Becca: Rolls a 6 anyway! Me: "Well played, Becca!" * Very satisfying finish to the game. * I think Jake should have thrown Mjolnir WAY more often, but perhaps he didn't fully understand the rules of discarding cards at any time to throw or retrieve Mjolnir. This is a huge part of playing Thor! :P * Becca's mushroom shirt is so awesome. *Great playthrough. I demand MORE Marvel Dice Throne with Beccaaa!
I was really sceptical about making MCU-Characters into Dicethrone Characters. However, I did get to play with them and I feel the need to emphasize how fun these actually feel to play! It's clear a lot of love went into the design and balancing of the characters, and the playing styles - as with all Dicethrone Heroes - feel really distinct and tailored to their respective backgrounds. Even if you're not necessarily into the MCU hype, these are just really fun characters to play! Also, as far as I know, they haven't given up on original characters. There's more to come!
I'm not into MCU so I hope they return to the original characters. Would rather have a more cohesive theme. Problem is most people probably aren't like me and don't have a problem with that or the MCU
It's sad they went with other IPs. They had such a great original cast of characters for the first two seasons and adventures. And goes to show that they never really cared about the actual lore they built so far.
1:44:32 - 1:45:51 is the HIGHLIGHT funniest, best moment in the whole video!

Like this show a lot. Keep it up!
Just for reference:
Undefendable damage ONLY means that you don't roll your defense.
ah .... those "bag of tricks" not beeing called.....
happens when you mod a chat at the same time
