Good news you can be a space pirate, and even become friends with the pirate for the most part. Takes some work because in the standard game they start off as hostile, but do enough missions for people who are associated or are leaders of the pirates and eventually most of them will stop shooting at you. (Some still will shoot at you during certain missions.)
and if you have nexerelin which is honestly in opinion required, you can start the game as a part of their faction, it will piss off the rest of the galaxy, but thats what pirates do

One reason the galaxy is so unstable is because the collapse happened while it was still getting set up. So lotta planets are incompletely terraformed. Most of em can't survive indefinitely on their own as a result.
Also never drink at every explosion for a space game. Ships explode a lot in them.
Look. It's all about the edit. I figured there would be a reasonable amount of drinks. Several times, there have only been like, two drinks a video. I wanted to ensure there were more than that, but I...I was mistaken. I wanted a lot of drinks, but this....was a bit extra, lol

@@ChicagoReacts yeah the Luddics in Starsector have a philosophical issue with advanced technology as they believe the pursuit of technology and exploitation of the stars was a great sin that brought the Collapse upon everyone as opposed to Luddites irl, who most had economic issues with automation. They particularly hate high energy physics, transhumanist tech and artificial intelligence. They aren’t stupid enough to think they can compete with other factions without spaceships, but they absolutely shun all AI/cybernetics/genetic engineering and stick to the oldest and least complex ‘low tech’ ships they can find

@@Littleman3240 It might be a mod I have, but I've definitely seen events where the remnant start to spread and use Distress Calls to lure in prey.
I love It when its some pirates expecting an easy kill but instead get faced with my armada brings a smile to my face eradicating them.
If smaller fleet had come through they wouldnt have shown them mercy so why should i show the pirates mercy.

13:33 As someone who recently started playing the game the 'mixer' is actually heavy machinery, so it could have *industrial* mixers included (Also Sseth's comment about your starting fleet being small is essential, I tried the *fast starts*, which give you a bigger fleet, and every time I ran out of fuel in the middle of nowhere, once I began doing the regular starts, which only give you a pair of small ships, I started having success)

7:30 you are either getting ambushed by hostile faction, or you spend some fuel and supplies for “helping” (which has nearly no profit in it)

You should try SPAZ (space pirates and zombies). The most fun I've had ignoring a main quest and just pillaging across space.

I love that 9 minutes in you realized you have fucked up. Like you missed about 3 or 4 minutes of drinks too. Just 'let's drink to explosions' in and of itself had me grin cause I knew.
It scares and embarrasses me how oddly attractive I found our hostess...

How many reactions do you record on a good day?
Between 3 and 6, if most of them are less than 25 minutes. I've done as many as 8, but I tend to drink a bit less if I am doing more, lol.
But between content creators, anime, and Americans Learn, Hard Lens Media, as well as both my other jobs...I usually manage about 8 videos over the course of two days.
I will try to have more dance parties 💃

How many paragons is too many for one fleet?
depends on your game settings, in base setting just 1 but you can make the game have more deploy points to deploy lot more ships
@@Davineitor005 Weak. I have two already and I am not planning to stop. I will turn every battle into disco and nbody will be able to stop me. My planet is printing paragons nonstop.

For me, Kantas Den has the lowest prices consistently. Eochu Bres doesn't even show up on the "Best places to buy".
F1 when you hover over an item in a system with a Communications Relay will bring up the Market data for the item.
Also, selling Marines and Mechs to the Luddic Path makes much more money.

Corporations taking over space like that makes perfect sense. The military doesn't share blueprints & schematics lol. And the only ones aside from massive military that's financially and technologically able to make the ships and tech needed.....would well yeah...they'd be gigantic corporate conglomerates and they'd absolutely patent protect their designs.
