Honestly the way Omega was playing for the first stock of game 5 was beautifully until he got his stock robbed. Some of the smoothest advantage states I've seen from joker in a very long time.
The way Leo started baiting counters with the arrow only to cancel and punish was beautiful. I thought that move would be basically useless in this matchup and he turned it into a pressure tool.
Leo took 2.4% damage (offscreen damage would only do 1.2%) so the bullet did hit him, but he was too far away to flinch anyway so it didn't really make a difference.

You should di away from the up b most times because it avoids the up b side b byleth combo so he probably just relflexively did that since he most likely wasn’t suspecting a surprise up b from ledge. You are actually wrong, Omega was not close enough for the bullet to have hitstun. You can literally go frame by frame, Leo did not suffer any hitstun from the bullet. What actually happened is that he was too close to the center due to the air dodge, and you can see that he hits the BOTTOM of the stage when he jumps after the up b.
I know he misses Byleth. He said in a luminosity short that Joker was his favorite character to play, but I see all the wave slides he does with Byleth. He doesn't do any of it with Joker.

If I was watching it right they had a big, multiscreen set-up that allowed them to switch commentary between games. So when it cuts off like that at the end of the first game, that was them cutting to a different match "seamlessly." A lot of people had problems with it obviously. I did like it more when all the matches were on the same screen at least so you could follow the commentary.

It might be true that he beat him before in the ditto but people focus too much on Leo’s past achievements and not his opponents’ growth. It’s obvious that Omega is a LOT better now overall especially in the ditto, so Leo chose to change his character and it was clearly the right choice. Not that big of a deal.
