How the hell was mkleo outpressuring LIGHT'S FOX with byleth? Byleth felt like the rushdown character in this set goddamn
To me it was more like leo was just spacing and keeping fox out better than before. He knew what he could and couldn’t do and capitalized on any advantages he got which made it feel like he was playing quick. Definitely a cracked out player
game 2 was DOMINATION! Really enjoyed this set and I laughed my ass out at the taunts
I knew once Leo told Light he wanted the runback at Summit that Leo had downloaded his Fox that quick. Not just light but Spargo. Leo has figured out how to deal with their bair spam and i think playing Corrin was a big help

Missing confirms, losing Fox's bread-and-butter neutral interactions, and missing kills cuz he was too afraid to approach Leo. You hate to see it

Fwi to everyone wondering about game 4 where light missed the confirm at 13:24 the way Leo landed he touched the ground right before light did the up smash so he had enough time to spot doge the up smash right before, if you notice light did not immediately up smash to hit Leo but he ran up a little longer than normal and that gave time for Leo to land and spot doge
Watch the video at half the speed and you’ll notice

i wouldn’t count light out so easily… he gets held back by fox’s shitty kill power quite a lot… fox has exactly 0 cheese… compare that to byleth killing sub 100 every stock. no shade on leo tho; hes proved his talent. i think it’s just more even than it seems
@@jadonharley6199 Fox is a much better chracter than Byleth. i will agree he is honest in that he is never killing any chracter who is not a light weight under 100% but he is still a really strong chracter. He racks up damage extremely quickly and his up smash still kills pretty much everyone at 110%. He is a very balance character but I think he is easily one of the strongest in the game.
It seems like Light is closing the gap between him and Leo. The games in this set were really close and feels like two of these games had it not been for a little cheese (e.g. Leo taking his stock with up b off stage) could’ve easily gone either way. Mkleo said himself if it wasn’t for Byleth cheese Fox would beat him in this MU. The cheese slightly overcomes it. Either way, mad respect to both players but honestly hope Light wins another major. That would be amazing with an honest character

I think we watched two different games ...
The last game Light was in control most of the first two stocks. Had that up smash connected on the last game Light could’ve had that easy. I think he was done after that. The second game Leo was waiting for Light to approach first and was baiting him. Light realized that started shooting more lasers as of game 3 to try to keep him honest. This wasn’t a blowout, one or two reads go another way this could’ve been a different story
