In the manga, Kita's grandma was watching him during this match. She was there in Tokyo watching the match in live with a shirt with "Kita" being written on😭
What do you mean where are the Kita stans? We're all here. We just don't wanna spoil LOL. Kita is one of my top favorite characters. Truly inspired me that his quotes are literally on my office desk: "You gotta do it everyday. Properly everyday. Taking care of yourself. Your greetings. Volleyball..." "I am built upon the small things I do everyday and the results are no more than a byproduct"
Kita is a character that changes your brain chemistry. His life philosophy is inspiring and the best thing about it is that the author never thought he would make this big of an impact.
For me, what makes Atsumu likeable is that despite being such a good athlete and giving the arrogant impression, he actually is so honest about how much he thinks a player is good when they do good play. He gets excited when someone even in the opposite team does something thats impressive and he happily acknowledges it out loud.
another reasons he’s likeable are bc he was invited to the All-Japan Youth İntensive Training Camp which made his first impression was so op, his team İnarizaki first introduced as the runner up of İnter-High, the best team in their Prefecture and Atsumu’s voice actor is Mamoru Miyano ”Light Yagami & Osamu Dazai’s va (imo it’s a big deal since i like both of the characters as well as the va’s quality of voice)
nishinoya is having hard time receiving atsumu's floaters bc he is used to receiving powerful serves like oikawa's and ushiwaka's. with those kind of serves, he usually steps BACK. but wt floaters, its unpredictable and you can see how he's struggling to step FORWARD. add that to the fact that he's still trying to practice his overhead receives, that's why he's having a hard time. by the end of the ep, when suna said that kageyama was scarier than tsukki, its bc tsukki believes that, as a blocker you don't always HAVE TO block the ball. in s3, they use the blocks to tunnel ushiwaka's spikes to noya. but with kageyama, he just straight up blocks the ball, or "kill" the ball if were speaking their language lol there are a lot of kita fans!! even some pro vball players picked him as their favorite haikyuu character :) they're probably just staying quiet to not spoil you hhh ALSO, i can't wait for the next reactions !!! the next episodes are chefs kiss
Atsumu's character - as well as the entire match - peaks in the 3rd set, but in terms of his on-the-court skillset he's easily the most impressive player we've seen so far (the only one on his level is Ushiwaka). He does have intentional parallels with Oikawa but he's very different in his nuances, his confidence and passion for volleyball is unapologetically childish and infectious; it would be very longwinded to fully explain why I love his character so much but a lot of it is to do with Inarizaki's team motto and how perfectly he represents it. Personally, my favourite antagonist in fiction, though I doubt many people rate him quite as highly as that even if he's popular.

I guess I can understand not liking Atsumu in the beginning, I didn't either. But it's when you actually understand the character that you absolutely love him. His passion for becoming the best at his craft is admirable, and in the manga you will love him even more.
I dont get how you can't be impressed by him already, he has the best versatility in a player we've ever seen. Not only serves but perfect sets and don't really have flaws outside of experimenting too much, don't know what more you need lol
What Atsumu lacks is that the studio didn't give him the animation (serve and set) he deserves as they did with Oikawa and Ushijima. They went with a simple visualization and realistic approach to his character whenever he was serving.
@@yusriyarofifahalimah1805 thats probably what it is. everyone knows that you get the cleanest animation during a super powerful moment. The studio change has decreased the all around quality of the show

✨ 16:04 *The moment I saw Kita cried getting his Jersey after so many years, I thought that Karasuno should lose at that point, for a moment. lol. He's an epitome of those serious yet kind and normal people who are very hardworking and honest that deserves all their success but face hardships. In his case, it took him so many years of routine just for him to finally get recognized to play vball. It's relatable and a representation of those who achieved their goals after being methodical and trying so hard. huhu* 💕
FURUDATE-SENSEI STRIKE AGAIN W HIS CHARACTERS!!! the reason why I love Kita's line: "I am built upon the small things I do everyday and the results are no more than a byproduct of that." is bc for me, this is the essence of Haikyuu. As a sports anime, you may think that stories like this always focus on the outcome of the match, but Haikyuu is not like that. It's never about the end. It's about the journey.
You guys should know that HUSBAND.. literally received the Best Server award during middle school and the Interhigh tournament, and was recognized as THE NUMBER ONE high school setter of all Japan (not only prefecture-level like Oikawa). So YES.. He is HIM 😉
atsumu is actually actually so lovable once you understand his character especially in the third set he’s definitely one of my fav characters in the show he’s extremely fun and interesting to watch
Remember the Nationals are held in Tokyo, and the Snake guy from Nohebi, Daisho, is part of the Tokyo prefecture, so it makes sense that he’s able to come watch games and commentate, rather than Oikawa who would need to travel all the way there. Also they’re using Daisho to guide those who don’t know much about volleyball by writing in his girlfriend who takes the role of those fans who don’t know much. Also I feel the pnly reason you guys probably don’t feel as impressed by Atsumu as a villain is because Oikawa and Ushijima had 2-3 seasons worth of build up, we always heard about Ushijima and Oikawa was one of their biggest obstacles. I’m honestly surprised you guys don’t fear Atsumu yet after he was able to steal Karasunos freak quick at their first attempt in a National match, or the fact that the whole team is struggling against his serves to the point that even Daichi and Nishinoya aren’t able to pick them up, not to mention the fact that he’s deadly with both jump and float serves. Not necessarily an Atsumu fan but I get it if people are.
kita is my favorite character (with kenma). the way he's not shining like the other talent around him is so relatable. but the way he never stops to do good every single day, do good for not only there's eyes that will always see your efforts but also do it for you respecting yourself, those are something that not everybody can do. he's so amazing and inspiring I LOVE HIM HE'S THE HUSBAND
I think why I and so many others love Atsumu is because he has a pure love and passion for volleyball. He just simply wants to be the best, and no matter what it is, he's willing to try anything to be that. Also, it helps that he is simply the most versatile and skilled player we've seen thus far, other than Ushijima and maybe Hoshiumi.
Everyone loves Kita!! I stopped watching Haikyuu since season 4 wasn't released back then but I rewatched it because I kept seeing Kita everywhere and got curious and then he became my favorite (his theme song is my go to when I needed to study lol) T.T Also I read on another post how Kageyama is always calm and shows great skill and technique (except only during the games against Oikawa lol) which is shown during his service aces.
I wanna preface this by saying its completely fine to not like a character or not "get the hype" around a character, especially when there is a huge cast. But just some thoughts on why yall reacted so differently to Atsumu and his team compared to other reactors. In response to Carter saying Atsumu didn't impress with feats, I'm pretty sure it's bc the animation is heavily lacking compared to the other seasons. Oikawa and Ushijima got rattling animation but S4 was created in the middle of Covid, and you can tell Inarizaki match took a hit. Canonically at this point, Atsumu is high school's *best* server, (in addition to best setter) twice in a row. The use of jump floaters also give the impression of less power, not brute force like S2 and S3, which is also something that factors into it. But overall, dude has the most service aces in the match and he scared Noya, that itself is a feat. His spike serves are also insanely powerful but he suffers from poor animation. Also, I feel like yall have forgotten he recreated the freak quick, seeing it just once, has insane footwork and there's some more ridiculous feats he pulls off in the ensuing episodes. About inarizaki not being "scary", I'm pretty sure that's just the animation. I read the manga as it was coming out, Inarizaki was one of the most horrifying teams to face even visually. Furudate used a lot of dark shadows and eerie visualisation in the match, none of which translated on screen. There's also the fact that yall already have complete faith that Karasuno cannot lose which lessens the stakes, but back when we were reading the manga, it seemed impossible for Karasuno to beat this team. I kinda noticed some prejudice when yall refused to call Atsumu by his name and stuck with "husband", especially when cannon said "girls always like *abusers*" in response to people liking Atsumu, mind you he berated a loud fan _in his head_. But also I think bc Oikawa set such a standard for antagonists, yall kinda search for him when there's a remotely sassy, "egotistical" and goofy character. The thing about reading patreon comments before starting an arc is it kinda sets you up to feel a certain way all the time, so if you find it ridiculous that girls like him and automatically assume he's gotta be fan service with no substance, then thats what you're gonna see.
I still don't get why they don't like him. The man is a powerhouse by himself. And what if he's cocky?? I would be too if i was as talented as him. They like cocky characters like Gojo who also talks shit about others but they don't like Atsumu just because he's not on our team (i'm persuaded that if he was on our team they wouldn't dislike him at all, like Tsukki). There's no reason to actually hate him this much it's just a volleyball anime (i would understand not liking him if he was a bad character but he's not)
Well honestly i think atsumu is the most respectable because he actually plays the game the way he wants to. He isnt willing to shy away from trying new things and he loves to makes the best possible plays he can.You guys may not like his character but he is actually the most accurate to the way teenage boys play volleyball. And he embodies the inarizaki motto to leave everything in the past.if youd notice his plays are implemented way better than oikawa and he is a double serve wielder too.
25:32 I love him because he's amazing in volleyball. On top of that he's a setter. I love setter's position. And he is so cool to watch. You're gonna see his extraordinary moves in the next episodes and Backstory too. Even after watching that and you still don't like him. I really don't know what to say. Maybe you're so much focused on his attitude and pricky behaviour which blinds you to see past his child self and how compassionate he is and how he enjoys the match.
And the thing is they always joke about him being the husband of girls which is why they don't really seem to focus on any other things about him like how good he actually is.
The phenomenon of Kita climbing up everyone's ranks in no time continues!!!! You don't need to justify not being on the same wavelength with most people about Atsumu, he's a polarizing character and some people don't stand him
I'm so glad that i went into haikyu without any expectations/opinions ,just completely blind just bc my friend suggested it .That's why i can appreciate every character for what they bring to the show. As for atsumu the match isn't over yet so you will atleast appreciate him as a player in the later episodes.
I guess every one stans for kita (by everyone I mean the whole haikyuu community) He became one of the best character in just one episode. And if we talk about atsumu, I don't know why you guys hate him lol, his backstory is one of the best in my opinion and the passion he have for volleyball is beyond amazing. He is an amazing character (ofc my fav) his attitude isn't the only thing about him
idk why but for some reason y’all and ur reactions and haikyuu really help w these seizure things i have, they make me feel just awful but y’all help me feel better so thanks a lot happy holidays
Atsumu has a classic case of resting smug face. But when he actually talks he's usually goofy and hyped up, kinda like Hinata gets excited. It's why I love him, not to mention he's an amazing player. And actually Tobio really enjoys playing with him because he acknowledges his skill, and the comment he made teasingly to him during the camp actually helped open Tobios eyes to a new angle. Yes he struggled with its meaning for a while but the "goody two shoes" comment made him think about it's context.
Yeahhhhh🥹 Here comes my love Kita!!! He just became one of my top picks or even FAV just by such a short amount of scenes. Felt like some times the most difficult things are actually those simplest in life, and I really, truly admire him as an ultimate goal and model to learn from😭😭
man I love kita so much he is in my top 5 characters in the show though he gets barely any screentime and am mad that they removed the fact that kitas grandmother was watching him during the match
I admire Kita and his philosophy, it reminds me of Jin BTS. Following routines, doing their best, focusing on working hard on something and sticking to it, not being impulsive but calm and taking things as they come not to forget the self confidence and optimistic personality no matter the situation is very inspiring but the sad thing is even tho I wanna be like this so bad the going with the flow type I'm not that kind of a person and I can never be. I'm so like Atsumu, it's scary 😬 maybe with age it can change but imao for not it will certainly not.
Kita supremacy!! ❤❤ You cannot help but instantly fall in love with him. Never fails, ever. His introduction is just peak character and story writing. Atsumu does grow on you. It's a slow burn. But once you do finally get his character fully fleshed out, he's a loveable idiot. I personally lean toward being an Osamu stan. But that's me. Also, y'all are getting closer to my absolute favorite episode and moment! I cannot wait!!! 😁😁 Ep 22, iykyk!!
It's the animation. Atsumu is like as good as kageyama and as scary as oikawa but the animation just isn't as intense as in the previous seasons so he doesn't really seems as impressive as he should.
If u want to understand better about rintaro's "side spike" you should look up argentinian player Sebastian Sole, he used to also move his core a lot mid air and there's a bunch of his plays in youtube
you gotta know that atsumu’s (as well as every other member of the team) character is built a lot by inarizaki’s relationship, their motto and what they represent, they’re very confident, passionate, stronger together, they trust each other and don’t believe in losing “we don’t need the memories” also i would argue some part of why people like him so much comes from his role later in the manga but yeah, you really can just sit and analyze any hiq character and you’ll realize a lot
In reference to opening discussion on husband/tsumu oikawa and him both improve thier teams and have killer serve(in case of tsumu he is a step ahead with the floater) and since tsumu can copy kageyama he is ahead in the skill part too Edited/added :- Nishinoya never fought with a server who was best at floater and insane crazy fast one tsumu does both, for example in base ball you get used to the crazy fast pitch then the curve ball gets you or vice versa here comes a guy who's best a both and taking swings at you left and right... Its not about tsumu being better server than everybody, he is sneaky and puts you at the edge mentally by having to adjust to either floater or insane fast and then when does either he is better than 100% of the people nishinoya has faced before that too under this insane pressure situation where if he is not getting them no one else can... Also you don't feel the danger from him is because of his personality Oikawa was intimidating when he got serious Tsumu leaves his memories behind like their banner says and hence he is same the next point(chilled and the best setter in the tournament) in contrast to Oikawa who carried all the losses with him and that showed on his face, in his talks and his backstories... So i think Tsumu is more scary as of now because he can be the best and have that chilled attitude at the same time which is sneaky as you're aware of the danger from oikawa but Tsumu is actually more dangerous and sneaky that you can be duped by his aloofness..
the thing about atsumu is that even though hes already so freakishly talented, we never see him say about himself that "im better than bla bla" he knows hes good and thats that. hes so passionate about volleyball and doesnt care if he comes off as a jerk. oikawa cares for his fans, im not sayinf that thats a bad thing, but atsumu doesnt. thats one of their differences
The way Cannon reacts to every single thing in Haikyuu, is exactly the same as my mum when she watched Haikyuu with me 😭 They literally have the exact same opinions about all the characters and scenarios in the show 😂
Kita is so well-written I actually get what you mean regarding atsumu on the surface their characters do seem similar but oikawa had a huge inferiority complex and was much more mature I like atsumu but he's not anywhere near my top 20
Shiratorizawa arc was final prefecture elimination, thats why there are no other match in that season. If you realize, Atsumu personality was Kageyama personality before he join Karasuno. Gladly that Atsumu has Osamu to remind him to not go to far with his behaviour eventho alot of people or friends hate him when he was a kid and he just didn't care at all cause he knew that he is great setter in his team. But for kageyama, he changed his ditactor personality because he learn that making spiker can hit, he need to learn the spiker too. Inarizaki's coach is amazing. I amazed how he can see a big potential in Kita Shinsuke, when Kita never played or even has a uniform when he was in junior Highschool. Kita's grandma, in Manga, she should be on the podium with Inarizaki supporter team, wearing tshirt with 'Kita' written on it and showed at the ending of the game, but unfortunately we don't get that. Tsukishima is a blocker that likes to put a trap on his opponent. When he planed to block Ushijima spike, he also meant to make Ushijima getting used to spike straight and when ushijima getting used to it, tsukki will block that straight way and force ushijima to spike cross. With Inarizaki, yes that he get shocked by Suna's spike, but he also made a trap for Suna. Tsuki let Suna to spike the ball to show his own team that Suna has pattern with his spike and then at the end, he will force Suna to do that again and the other member better behind him to receieve that ball. Cause we know, rather than to make a block point, Tsukki likes to make the ball through him without clear way. It could be counterattack for his team and also make the opponent player's mental get distracted (like how Shirabu was)
The Kita stans are just here, being quiet, and waiting to see if you have the CORRECT opinion on him. Yes, he is the goat! It’s really cool how a character with so little screen time has such an impact on the whole fandom Atsumu is just fun to watch. He has some really good plays, some fun moments, and him having Mamoru Miyano as a VA is a plus in the animation As a manga reader though, I’ve taken the time to observe all players, and it’s honestly pretty hard to pick a fave. Even my top five changes from week to week
This isn't fair. For Tanaka's episode the title was 'anime haters' and for kita's episode the title is 'our new goat kita'? 😩😭 Ps : I love kita. Don't come at me! 🙏
Husband is husband because he's a combo of Hinata and Kageyama. He has the excitement and love for the game, like Hinata, and the setting skills of Kageyama. He doesn't hesitate to praise others when he thinks they're great players.
I agree with some comments here on UA-cam. The thing is, you guys are "to sure" that Karasuno is going to win (and I understand why) and because of that you are not seeing the threat this team is and why. I believe this would not happen if you guys reacted before the movie announcement or release or when we only had the manga or the episodes of this season were being released weekly (my case). Atsumu here is amazing and Inarizaki is showing, despite the little time available, why they are one of the top seeds in the tournament. Atsumu is able to do both kind of serves (no one else did that before) and even Karasuno knowing when he chooses one of the serves, the guardian deity which usually is the defence reference for the team is having a hard time. He was also able to learn and apply the quick spike with his brother just by watching it a couple of times, without training. And he is able to give the best serves to all his teammate just like Oikawa. I love Oikawa, but he is just better at this moment. And I am just talking about one guy, we also have Osamu, Kita, Aran, Rintaro. All of them are top tier players in their position. I remember people talking about the moment Inarizaki was giving a hard time to Tanaka in the manga, although I was not reading that time. For you guys it was just an episode but for these people, it was many manga chapters (and weeks).
i think it's understandable that they didnt think atsumu is as great as oikawa or ushijima. just like jack said, we just got to know atsumu while they're in a match. meanwhile with oikawa and ushijima, there's already a previous connection between them and karasuno. i also didnt quite grasp how good atsumu is untul i rewatched the season and read things about him
What you guys do whenever Atsumu serves is making me laugh so much LOOOL idk why you don’t like him (actually I do) but without “husband” there will be no silly gag with his serves. But personally, I didn’t like Atsumu right away but during their entire match, I found him funny. He’s like if Bokuto but in smaller font size. Do you guys get it? Bokuto is naturally just funny or whiny but Atsumu is like if Bokuto and Oikawa have a son. He’s funny, childish, but kinda creepy LOOOOL but that made me like him. He’s my top 5 fave haikyu characters after I finished the manga yesterday.
Kita’s just a lil guy doing his best. I mean if you don’t feel for the guy after seeing him holding back his tears when his efforts finally paid off you’re a heartless person😂
The first time I watched, I also felt like the team leveled up too quickly. But on rewatches, Kageyama and Nishinoya are established as Nationals level players, Hinata is immediately identified by everyone as an athletic freak unlike anything they have seen, Asahi was well-known at the prefectural level in middle school + is a senior. At camp and nationals Tsukki starts getting all-prefecture recognition (Nobara recommended Hinata too). (No one else from Miyagi is invited, including Shiratorizawa) Tanaka and Daichi are the ones that probably weren’t ready to play at Nationals before the team and plot carries them forward and levels them up. They beat top four prefecture team in two sets. Beat Wakuani (also top 4) in 3 because Daichi died. Beat Seijoh and Shiratorizawa. Already had a 2 set win on Date Tech. The justifications and power levels are there. You just have to really look.
you guys been sad about haikyuu’s gonna end soon, another masterpiece sport anime that y’all should give it a try NEXT is Kuroko No Basket (Kuroko’s Basketball). try it it’s also one of the best sport anime, it gives a Haikyuu vibes
lmaoooo i think the reason why most poeple like "husband" is because hes good looking and kind of like charismatic and obviously like you guys acknowledged he is very good. So i guess i understand why you guys dont particularly like him or find him special
I’m pretty sure we like Atsumu for how passionate and self driven he is. Oikawa is the most handsome character in the series, but more than looks we like these characters for how passionate and hardworking they are. It’s admiring after all
Gonna be the devil's advocate here, i think in season 4, because they are experimenting with new animation and what not, it kinda loses or have yet able to convey the terror of atsumu miya of inarizaki as well as they did with oikawa of seijoh, especially when the story have to be more concise in the anime. The older animation while not as pretty, the roughness and boldness was needed. In short, I like inarizaki and atsumu much more by reading the manga, i disliked them so much, but then they grew into a loveable team like seijoh, dateko, nekoma, etc. And love the Hinata recognition by Cannon, while it's for the plot, it's little sad for him because in these seasons his influence as a main force in the story kind of dimmed out. But that's what happen in real life, you start to be as good as the others then you are not the odd one out anymore, so you gotta keep looking up where you are gonna be at the bottom again. Thanks for reacting you guys!

So YES.. He is HIM 😉
haha the title
Kita is a damn good character, it's crazy how with so little furudate got us to love him so much. You can't help but like him.
atsumu is actually actually so lovable once you understand his character especially in the third set he’s definitely one of my fav characters in the show he’s extremely fun and interesting to watch
2:46 That's because it's a jump floater serve. That's why he's having so much problem. Atsumu is damn good in both the serves.
I don’t think anyone could hate kita. Haikyuu fr has such good characters
Yeah agreed, of all of inarizaki I'd say Kita is HUSBAND material.
There's no reason to actually hate him this much it's just a volleyball anime (i would understand not liking him if he was a bad character but he's not)
Canon calling rintaro a rat and then switching up to ‘I like this guy’ after barely two minutes was the fastest character development 😂😂
@muskanmundra2599 yeah
The phenomenon of Kita climbing up everyone's ranks in no time continues!!!!
You don't need to justify not being on the same wavelength with most people about Atsumu, he's a polarizing character and some people don't stand him
Everyone loves Kita 😭🤍
Kita is pretty much what suga strives for with daichi mentality
Kita-san is my #2 favorite captain (daichi #1) i love him
I’m so glad they love Kita, he is a character that makes me feel like even if I’m overwhelmed that the process will yield results.
I feel in love with Kita-san in this scene!
You can't help but fall for Kita. His principle and philosophy is very Japanese 🖤
I cried with him when he received his first uniform 😭
Kita is what everyone aspires to be in life , disciplined and caring.
He is an amazing character (ofc my fav) his attitude isn't the only thing about him
i love how they easily love kita ❤ one of my fave character in hq ❤❤❤
idk why but for some reason y’all and ur reactions and haikyuu really help w these seizure things i have, they make me feel just awful but y’all help me feel better so thanks a lot happy holidays
I personally think Inarizaki is actually very similar to Karasuno, but better in almost every way
I admire Kita and his philosophy, it reminds me of Jin BTS.
Kita Shinsuke is the real husband for me🙇🏻♀️
YES SO DAMN RIGHT
taste. he's undisputably the best choice for husband tbh. meanwhile osamu is my sorta biased pick for 2nd choice
ACCKK! KITA MY FAVE! LOVE LOVE HIS EPISODE/STORY!
I have Kita's "You do it right. And you do it everyday." As my wallpaper ❤
Ep 22, iykyk!!
Osamu fans rise!! For the true husband!!
It's the animation. Atsumu is like as good as kageyama and as scary as oikawa but the animation just isn't as intense as in the previous seasons so he doesn't really seems as impressive as he should.
I love what Kita say. He's dependable character, I love him sm
That Kageyama's ace serves, he learned from Oikawa. Very understandable because Oikawa is his mentor.
12:07 I love osamu's homerun here 🤭
Here comes the boy~ the boy
Welcome
There he is
He is hereeee ♥️
Kita is my GOAT
If u want to understand better about rintaro's "side spike" you should look up argentinian player Sebastian Sole, he used to also move his core a lot mid air and there's a bunch of his plays in youtube
10:17 A no touch Ace by my man. The animation for that is amazing.
北さんは数分の回想で心持ってかれる❤
Kita gotta do everything right philosophy is such an game changer and incredibly inspiring.
I wonder if they'll change their mind a bit later on...?👀
Kita, Hinata, Great King... Theres a lot of Great characters on Haikyuu.
you gotta know that atsumu’s (as well as every other member of the team) character is built a lot by inarizaki’s relationship, their motto and what they represent, they’re very confident, passionate, stronger together, they trust each other and don’t believe in losing “we don’t need the memories”
also i would argue some part of why people like him so much comes from his role later in the manga but yeah, you really can just sit and analyze any hiq character and you’ll realize a lot
In reference to opening discussion on husband/tsumu
oikawa and him both improve thier teams and have killer serve(in case of tsumu he is a step ahead with the floater) and since tsumu can copy kageyama he is ahead in the skill part too
Edited/added :- Nishinoya never fought with a server who was best at floater and insane crazy fast one tsumu does both, for example in base ball you get used to the crazy fast pitch then the curve ball gets you or vice versa here comes a guy who's best a both and taking swings at you left and right... Its not about tsumu being better server than everybody, he is sneaky and puts you at the edge mentally by having to adjust to either floater or insane fast and then when does either he is better than 100% of the people nishinoya has faced before that too under this insane pressure situation where if he is not getting them no one else can...
Also you don't feel the danger from him is because of his personality
Oikawa was intimidating when he got serious
Tsumu leaves his memories behind like their banner says and hence he is same the next point(chilled and the best setter in the tournament) in contrast to Oikawa who carried all the losses with him and that showed on his face, in his talks and his backstories... So i think Tsumu is more scary as of now because he can be the best and have that chilled attitude at the same time which is sneaky as you're aware of the danger from oikawa but Tsumu is actually more dangerous and sneaky that you can be duped by his aloofness..
there are just two feelings looking at kita. want to be like him, or want a husband like him 😔♥️
"excellence is a habit" - kita embodies that saying
im so happy you guys finally met kita!
the thing about atsumu is that even though hes already so freakishly talented, we never see him say about himself that "im better than bla bla" he knows hes good and thats that. hes so passionate about volleyball and doesnt care if he comes off as a jerk. oikawa cares for his fans, im not sayinf that thats a bad thing, but atsumu doesnt. thats one of their differences
husband's one dialogue is ""one of best dialogue & goosebumps moments of the series ""
can't wait for that Kita's scene, the reason why there is Kita's flashback
Kita my goat. Loved him from reading the manga. All the captains are pretty great
Rintaro has the same VA as Mahito from jjk
The way Cannon reacts to every single thing in Haikyuu, is exactly the same as my mum when she watched Haikyuu with me 😭 They literally have the exact same opinions about all the characters and scenarios in the show 😂
13:11 great choice of image 😅😅😅😅
That feeling when UA-cam caught up to Patreon
Kita is so well-written
I actually get what you mean regarding atsumu
on the surface their characters do seem similar but oikawa had a huge inferiority complex and was much more mature
I like atsumu but he's not anywhere near my top 20
It could be counterattack for his team and also make the opponent player's mental get distracted (like how Shirabu was)
Hi, Kita stan here! His episode has finally arrived~ :)
The Kita stans are just here, being quiet, and waiting to see if you have the CORRECT opinion on him. Yes, he is the goat!
It’s really cool how a character with so little screen time has such an impact on the whole fandom
Atsumu is just fun to watch. He has some really good plays, some fun moments, and him having Mamoru Miyano as a VA is a plus in the animation
As a manga reader though, I’ve taken the time to observe all players, and it’s honestly pretty hard to pick a fave. Even my top five changes from week to week
Kita appreciation🫶🫶🫶
This isn't fair. For Tanaka's episode the title was 'anime haters' and for kita's episode the title is 'our new goat kita'? 😩😭
Ps : I love kita. Don't come at me! 🙏
ikr.. im taken aback when I saw the title for ep 16 that they didn't hype up tanaka's moment
@yusriyarofifahalimah1805 yeah
Husband is husband because he's a combo of Hinata and Kageyama. He has the excitement and love for the game, like Hinata, and the setting skills of Kageyama. He doesn't hesitate to praise others when he thinks they're great players.
kita scene is the only time i cried in haikyuu idk why
For you guys it was just an episode but for these people, it was many manga chapters (and weeks).
i think it's understandable that they didnt think atsumu is as great as oikawa or ushijima. just like jack said, we just got to know atsumu while they're in a match. meanwhile with oikawa and ushijima, there's already a previous connection between them and karasuno. i also didnt quite grasp how good atsumu is untul i rewatched the season and read things about him
Suna and Kita are my favourite from Inarizaki, I kinda understand your views on the twins.
21:31 I can never forget Hinata's poster here. 🤭
23:06 My most favorite single block 😍
Kita’s just a lil guy doing his best. I mean if you don’t feel for the guy after seeing him holding back his tears when his efforts finally paid off you’re a heartless person😂
Not the evil jazz lol
WHERE IS NARUOT ITS BEEN LIKE 4 FRIDAYS???
Atsumu is him.
Oikawa and atsumu literally have 0 similarities outside the fact that they're both setters.
Ain't no way they just did the squid game dab on the serve 😂
i knew you would like him!!
now you've met my baby hshshshs
The first time I watched, I also felt like the team leveled up too quickly. But on rewatches, Kageyama and Nishinoya are established as Nationals level players, Hinata is immediately identified by everyone as an athletic freak unlike anything they have seen, Asahi was well-known at the prefectural level in middle school + is a senior. At camp and nationals Tsukki starts getting all-prefecture recognition (Nobara recommended Hinata too). (No one else from Miyagi is invited, including Shiratorizawa)
Tanaka and Daichi are the ones that probably weren’t ready to play at Nationals before the team and plot carries them forward and levels them up.
They beat top four prefecture team in two sets. Beat Wakuani (also top 4) in 3 because Daichi died. Beat Seijoh and Shiratorizawa. Already had a 2 set win on Date Tech.
The justifications and power levels are there. You just have to really look.
23:42 Jack, He said scary guy. Not scary blocker!
Kita is Atomic Habits personified. ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Really one of my favorite characters in anime.
you guys been sad about haikyuu’s gonna end soon, another masterpiece sport anime that y’all should give it a try NEXT is Kuroko No Basket (Kuroko’s Basketball). try it it’s also one of the best sport anime, it gives a Haikyuu vibes
lmaoooo i think the reason why most poeple like "husband" is because hes good looking and kind of like charismatic and obviously like you guys acknowledged he is very good.
Did you guys stop posting Code Geass? Almost two weeks now
No we will post an update with a bunch of episodes soon
@@StudioGek bless!
19:49 my favorite reaction scene is right here 🤣
