@@clarissaleonard8660 it took me maybe about 2 hours altogether because I took 3 different parts reading, writing and the math but the questions were pretty much of the same format. If you can get the processes down you can pass the test! Best wishes to you!

I was multiplying each exponent inside the parenthesis by the exponent outside the parenthesis, and THEN adding them together. Is this an alternate method? Or one that only works sometimes? This was just my natural thought pattern before watching you work through the problem.

THANKS SO MUCH!! no dumb questions, that's actually a good one! Either way you will get the same decimal, so you can reduce or not reduce and get the same decimal. I prefer to do less work, that's why I don't reduce it. Do what works for you!

FYI, your denominator on #14, your on-the-fly problem, is incorrect. There are 50 people: 08 of 50 who will vote yes/yes 14 of 50 who will vote yes/no 12 of 50 who will vote no/yes 16 of 50 who will vote no/no. The answer to your on-the-fly problem is 16/50, not 16/30. (08/50)+(14/50)+12/50)+(16/50) = 1 As you gave it: (8/20)+(12/20)+(14/30)+(16/30) = 2. You're counting each voter twice.
That's a very good question! The statement "If a voter who plans to vote yes to issue P is randomly selected" tells us what our population is: The total number of people who voted yes on P which is a total of 20. Then out of those 20, "what are the probability they also voted yes on issue Q."
She subtracted because the negative number is greater compared to the positive one, it’s the same as 5-10. Picture this: draw out 10 negative signs, cross out five, and you're left with five negatives.

However, the last equation you made has small errors when you multiple 6 with the exponent 2 you make the answer 12 that is not correct. I know it is a miner mistake, but just to point out so your followers don't make similar mistakes
