One of the few, who actually can play the bugstick on record. Many don't know the diving wyvern still exists for example. It's more technical than ever. But also the weapons rotation seems incomplete somehow. It's always an up and down between the rising spiral slash and regaining extract which obviously will even pack a harder punch when Kinsects get upgradet, but theres something missing to round things up. Can't wait for the full version of it.
I agree that now using the weapon effectively will require much more skill and that just like the SNS it seems as if something is missing, personally I think there is something that they have not shown and I hope that in the full version we discover it.
I mentioned in another comment that you can do another Diving Wyvern after RSS (while in the air) if you bank Red in your kinsect. So that will complete the loop circle.
@@khaild7856 Doesn't RSS consume all your extracts though? I haven't played the beta myself yet but it seems like every time RSS is proced all the buffs vanish and ud have to reaharvest them. I feel as though if they allowed red buff to remain after RSS it would feel more complete. Allowing u to choose between a DW or aerial combo or even just landing and harvesting the remaining 2 extracts for another RSS.
@@prism_ike RSS does consume all the extracts right at the moment you input LT+O, however there's this tech that allows you to have Red during RSS animation so you can use DT during the falling down animation. Basically it's to keep extra Red on your kinsect before doing the RSS. I'll try to reproduce that tomorrow cuz I've not seen anybody doing it.
One thing that isn't shown here is the ability to combo RSS right into the aerial focus strike on a wound (guaranteeing all three extracts and keeping the damage going). There are a couple perfect opportunities for it here like at 2:20. Overall a fantastic hunt though!

I saw a video earlier where he literally kept spamming that one move, I really like how in this video he uses the other moves and chains that in as the finisher. 😊
im looking forward to ig cause im certain it's got more ways to play than this, and i know in a speedrun setting the moves you go for are not practical until you know the hunt inside and out, usually resulting in risks that will lead to an instant restart if it doesn't work out, and this is day 2 of beta so the best way to play will definitely need more time to discover. meaning most of this can be overlooked as the official way to play ig. but 'complaining' is a negative way to portray it, i think about collecting buffs for ig and how much of a distraction from playing the game it is, getting used to it in older games where i don't think about it because i manage it well and use powerprolonger, thinking about doing it MORE and not just a little more, but a lot more just to use one move that gives me my best dps seems very limiting and more of a chore that other weapons aren't asking of me. getting buffs is "easier" but still a thing to do more of which kinda defeats the purpose of it being easier. the whole point of monster hunter is playing with a weapon you have fun with and respectfully this kind of playstyle is going to turn off a lot of people.
may i ask how you get your kinsect to go forward with the charged harvest extract? it seems to always go up instead of straight. also amazing job on the run.
Shooting it at more of a distance or when the monster doesn’t notice you makes it go straight through for me. I noticed it bounced up every time I released it too close to the monsters.

Nice video! It sucks they removed the interactiveness of Glaive entirely. Now we Extract Harvest (gets all 3), Lead into tornado repeat with in between dodging. Atleast in world you could interact with the bosses more with bounces now its just get colors run, into boss for free aoe damage repeat. No use for kinsect stamina bar, Manual controlling is zero to none now, Dusts are useless (since tornado spamming the inputs suck him back in automatically), And the kinsect attack type barely gets used. Then just randomly swings each time you attack when triple buffed.... Atleast the auto attacking gave him life besides being a mini bolt for extracts.
Helicopter spam and bounce has shit interaction, it’s all about abusing aerial state where bosses have difficulty gmhittng the hunter in sky cause of their move sets. Bouncing is usually only good once for repositioning into a good attack. I’m happy they are changing it.

既にご存知かはわかりませんが、急襲は2つとも溜め段階が2段階目まであるようですね。
2段階目まで溜めると威力が、1.3倍程度になるので、狙うと更にDPSが上がるかもしれないです。
急襲突きなんかはジャンプ突進斬りと合わせて使う想定なのかもですね。

So we went from spamming helikopter, to spamming another helicopter. Yep, im maining it again.
Apache-helicopter-lift-off is easy to use and gives good damage too.

6:52 今作高い所からモンスター落ちると落下ダメージある? IBでも段差吹っ飛ばしとかダムの水流ではダメあったけど今作はちょい高所からの空中ダウンってだけでダメージ入るのかな

試遊版から火力面が劇的に変化しましたが、まだ盛り上がる時間じゃないと思っています
他武器5分とか出ちゃってるからむしろ強化しかない気がします
