That night was a blast! That rain was absolutely ferocious...and kudos to Lynch Mob for playing. When most folks left...and it was down to about a dozen people...we were still out there!! Some folks took shelter in the porta-potties. 🤣Great episode and love the new format. It's nice to see the extra footage of the shows without the copyright issues. 🤘😃🤘
George is one of the best guitar players, its amazing ir goes to show you the older you get the better you play ,hopefully these guys play together for the rest of thier yes, get people awesome musicians to say the least,
Thanks for sharing this kind of content, I find it really interesting to see how different acts navigate through the traveling and how you navigate the dealings with promoters, venues, & all the things that have to fall into place or be shoved into place while bring music to the masses all over the country. George lynch & company sure showed everyone how to be a professional that’s for sure. It brings validation to the discussion around, It’s not all glitz and glamour. Thanks again, I will continue to support your channel and hope to catch a show soon. Safe travels 🤘🏼👊🏼
My band opened for Lynch Mob at the Riverside Golf course in Battle Creek, MI the next day. I met Jaron when I got there he told me about the rain at the Stephen Pearcy show in Bay City, MI. We had a blast.
Massive respect for unbelievable George & his Lynch Mob for rocking through the hurricane & rain - thunderstrucked with 'When heaven comes down'! 🌧🌩🌪🌫😃🙌 Thanks for documenting! 🙏Spinal Tap are watching with amazement! 😲😯😳 ;-) Nice party but these living legends/talents deserve stadiums!! Original RATTs, Dokkens, Slaughters, Lita Ford, Vixen, Seb Bach, Steve Adler, Vain plus Scorpions could do it!
The first time I saw Ratt was about thirty miles south of here in Saginaw, Mi. I think it was 1984. They opened for Molly Hatchet. It was also Stephen's birthday that night.
I jam RATT every day in my lil studio that’s bad ass ! Mainly bass player here recently learning electric ⚡️ I’ve played , listened , & fucked to RATT just about every day since high school ‼️‼️‼️ I’m 55 now. I really can’t complain, it’s been a great life ✌🏼
Agreed, I have worked as a roadie here and in Europe and have faced many storms and not once was the equipment not covered and all pedalboards were removed until the storm was over, where the hell were the roadies ? SMH 🤔
The singer, Gabriel Colon, had asked, "What should we do? Do we keep playing?" George was loving it. He was smiling through it all, and before they left the stage, he proclaimed, "That's metal!"
I remember some of these people when they were barely rock stars. For most of these guys it was very brief. Some of them (Dokken etc.)only opened for some rock stars. Speaking of which, Whatever happened to the pretenders after C Heind regularly made the charts?
Needed some leaf blowers to dry the gear on stage quickly after the rain and those fans on stage could've been brought inside to help dry the pedals...🤔
The production team should have shut it down and have everything covered with tarps prior to the downpour. I was at a large outdoor venue when a storm moved in - I believe it was the New York Rock & Soul Review with Donald Fagan, Phoebe Snow, Michael McDonald, etc. - within seconds, the power went out. No music, no lights, nothing. Generators eventually kicked on, but the band didn’t continue until the storm passed.
The seagull, out of his element as he was, was actually part of a flock of seagulls that was supposed to fly in…um, but the rest of them had flight delays from Newport Beach due to weather, so Mortimer there decided to fly in solo ahead of the pack, er, flock- from Cleveland…I am told he tried to get on the bill as an acoustic performer under “The Seagull” but, as you can plainly see, the promoter denied that flight of insanity and Mortimer was reduced to rummaging for parking lot scraps to fuel up for the flight back to Cleveland. Usually there is a common sense explanation for these kind of surprising sightings….
The current drummer is Jordan Cannata. He's standing next to Blas when they're talking about Laurie Carr (and that's me asking Dana if she was related to their original manager, Budd Carr).
There were plenty more people there. They were either under the pavillion or in the restrooms and port-a-johns when the rain hit. Some of them gave up instead of waiting for the storm to pass. It was actually only about 20 minutes.
There's a roof over the stage, but it was coming in sideways. I was there. That's me recording the song when you see George from behind, soloing. My video is on here. As for the rain, what can you do? Put plexiglass walls around the sides, and watch the bands like fish in a tank?
Thanks, Jason! I'm enjoying these diaries even more without copyright issues. Please keep them "members only".
I miss the tour diaries, they’re always great!
Happy New Year🥳

Where was this and about when please
@ 7/5/24 Bay City, MI 😃
So cool to see backstage since every rock n roll fan wants to see. It’s quite a lot of work but so much fun and happiness.🎉
Great episode of both shows tonight Merry Christmas to you and the Pearcy Crew

Great video! Props to George and the other men! That was manly man stuff playing in that. Thank you for sharing
Well...OK..but, when your band is low man on the totem pole, you fulfill your contractual obligation or you don't eat. Simple as that.
My band opened for Lynch Mob at the Riverside Golf course in Battle Creek, MI the next day. I met Jaron when I got there he told me about the rain at the Stephen Pearcy show in Bay City, MI. We had a blast.
"When Heaven Comes Down' during a total deluge! 🤘

🥳 Happy New Year!
Happy new year Jason! Can’t think of a better way to waste some time.
Happy New Year!
Here in Southern California we refer to Seagulls as "Beach Chickens".... Like Chihuahuas with wings
That was crazy watching Lynch Mob perform during a monsoon. That was not smart letting them play in those conditions.
Agreed, I have worked as a roadie here and in Europe and have faced many storms and not once was the equipment not covered and all pedalboards were removed until the storm was over, where the hell were the roadies ? SMH 🤔

I have played that venue in Bay City. I had one of the best times there. I just can't remember her name.....lol
"There's a man on the wing". 🤣
I love the dude at 36:05 watching with arms crossed ... just grooving!
Great video bro! See ya on MORC in March?
Thanks, I’ll be there!
I thought I'd seen this episode but apparently I was wrong. Great episode.
Happy New Year🥳
Will there be a vlog from w13 at the festival in vegas?
How are the amps working... I know they must be tube...
I want some cards lol nice
I remember some of these people when they were barely rock stars. For most of these guys it was very brief. Some of them (Dokken etc.)only opened for some rock stars. Speaking of which, Whatever happened to the pretenders after C Heind regularly made the charts?
Love this series!
Happy New Year!
Jeeez, it's raining all over over the fkn stage!! That should have been shut down a long time ago to wait for the rain to stop.
Damn cover those Marshalls up from the rain!!!
George wishing it was the old days and Don was simply tossing drinks at his Marshall!
Happy New Year Jason
🥳 Happy New Year!
Those tube amps in da rain hurts
Goerge stayed... he said I played pay me!!
Shout out to Jaron for battling the Weather @ 22:25 Our Hometown Boy
Crazy Playing in the Rain Like that
Some may say dumb
what's with Lynch & the capris anymore? 😄
Blas still looks basically the same as he did back in the day!! Rock on!!!!
Doesn’t age
34:12 nailed the tone 👌
Jason, uummm your right hand goes over your heart man!!!
Comedy isn’t for everyone
Needed some leaf blowers to dry the gear on stage quickly after the rain and those fans on stage could've been brought inside to help dry the pedals...🤔
fun times

How did they even get this approved with this weather? I don't understand. Happy New Year; Jason!

@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreenthank you

Is George still there?
What's up Scott @ 19:17
Am with u on the lights, 1 switch
1 light to rule them all!
Mark Slaughter produced the new 💿 from Mark Farner, "Closer to my Home". Get it... it's a 4.8 🌟 out of 5 🌟
unbelievable ..doesn't the stage have a roof?
“They’re still playing cause they think it’s Woodstock” Classic Johnny lol
The seagull, out of his element as he was, was actually part of a flock of seagulls that was supposed to fly in…um, but the rest of them had flight delays from Newport Beach due to weather, so Mortimer there decided to fly in solo ahead of the pack, er, flock- from Cleveland…I am told he tried to get on the bill as an acoustic performer under “The Seagull” but, as you can plainly see, the promoter denied that flight of insanity and Mortimer was reduced to rummaging for parking lot scraps to fuel up for the flight back to Cleveland.

Matt should just play the set wearing his regular clothes that he wears during the day.
Safe to say it wasn't sold out
Looks like a stage designed for a hand-puppet show
As long as they know not to bill the puppet show as the headliner
When’s the last time anyone had to use a blow dryer on their guitar pedals?
Gods country mi.
Is Blas back behind the kit for Slaughter?
No
The current drummer is Jordan Cannata. He's standing next to Blas when they're talking about Laurie Carr (and that's me asking Dana if she was related to their original manager, Budd Carr).
Playin in the rain like that looks dangerous
It definitely was, bad decision
🤘😎🤘🦅
Happy New Year🥳
Really sad playing carnivals in the rain for 25 people..
I get your observation, but perhaps it would be more crowded if it wasn’t raining
That the promoter’s problem. They get paid what there owed either way 🙂
There were plenty more people there. They were either under the pavillion or in the restrooms and port-a-johns when the rain hit. Some of them gave up instead of waiting for the storm to pass. It was actually only about 20 minutes.
You would think they would at least have a covered tent or something over the bands to keep them dry.Thats ridiculous ☔
There's a roof over the stage, but it was coming in sideways. I was there. That's me recording the song when you see George from behind, soloing. My video is on here. As for the rain, what can you do? Put plexiglass walls around the sides, and watch the bands like fish in a tank?
EDDIE!!!!
ironic . guys from 80s hair metal are using hair dryers to dry off 😂 there pedal s
No tiene mérito lo de Lynch, ya estaba eclstumbrado a tocar con agua de cuando grabó el video de "In my dreams"...
These guys never grow up they live in the past it was great back in the day but cmon man
It's the Love of music, the passion of playing live, and the camaraderie.
