I have not used the ASCA technology on the cooker yet. It does seem interesting to me how it will help control the moisture levels during the cooking process. I look forward to trying that more in future videos. Check out the ASmoke Instagram page for more information.

    What is ASCA Technology™?
    Feature 1: Enhanced Flavor
Pour any number of liquids (sauces, cooking wines, etc.) into the designated tray and let the ASCA Technology™ get to work! The liquid will transform into superheated steam inside the grill. This micro-particle vapor will ensure your food stays moist and add a special hint of flavor, depending on the liquid you use.
    Feature 2: Superheated Steam
PLUS once the liquid evaporates at just over 1000°F, it forms superheated steam, which our grill then utilizes to cook your food 3x faster than traditional grills while always keeping it juicy and tender.

I've been a Traeger+ user for years, but after stumbling upon ASMOKE, I have to say I am seriously impressed. The precision temperature control and the option to use different wood pellet flavors to enhance the taste of my food are game-changers. Also, the portability of the AS350 is so convenient for my outdoor adventures. The final selling point for me was the app, the ability to remotely monitor food temperature and share recipes is such a modern touch. I've been getting amazing results, everything from chicken to burgers, even bread! And the fact that it's battery-powered, lasting up to 10 hours, allows me to grill anywhere, anytime. I never thought I'd switch from Traeger, but ASMOKE has truly changed my grilling experience for the better. #Asmoke.

It’s definitely different, and easier than sticks or charcoal but tastier than gas.

Another great video. I have an AS300. I just wanted to learn how to do some basic pellet smoking so I got the ASmoke. I think it’s all I need because there’s only two of us in the house. I’ve done pork butts, spatchcock chicken and ribs. At times I wish I had a little bit bigger smoker that had a little bit better controler. I’ve had issues with my AS300 related to the temperature read out being incorrect. But as you said in this video don’t bother looking at the numbers on the screen. I have a oven thermometer in my cook chamber that I use when I want to know the real temperature.

Good advice, best skill is to know your gear and that comes with use and learning from flops.

Fantastic vid, just noticed. Did you see any difference when you changed to the asmoke apple pellets, noticed the non asmoke pellet plate was still in there when you put in the asmoke pellets, thanks much

Hey mate really interested if this unit could have a auger fire. Currently the pitboss doesn't have the ash falling though. Be great to get you feed back on cook smoke etc

I haven’t seen a design flaw yet in the auger. I am pretty diligent in doing clean out and proper shut down. I’ve down long cooks too.
I worry more about grease than the auger. But even that has been doing well.

Remember not to shut the lid with the sear plate open and temp on high. You will blister the paint on the lid
