Hello Tom, Sorry to come back. Pluses and minuses between the two? PitBoss has a better price point but I have an opportunity to purchase a new AS350 for $190 which brings it in line with the PB.
I just rewatched this as I am thinking about a portable pellet grill. I am considering the Z grills cruiser too. This one has cool features but I may prefer the Cruiser. I like the larger hopper size and the grease management system of the Cruiser. If I recall correctly, the Cruiser was a little more consistent in terms of temperature in your video. Any thoughts? Would you prefer one strongly over the other? Thanks!
Just got this smoker and it did not come with the fire pot plate to use different brand pellets. Looked over the manual front to back and didn’t see mention of it in parts list or anything. Sent the company an email to inquire about it. See what I get as a response.
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ it was strange, the more unboxing and review videos I watched I noticed almost all did not mention this plate. I got a quick email reply back requesting a receipt copy and shipping address. It sounds like they will be sending one. Just odd that plate it is not mentioned anywhere.

After that, I received an email that suggested I return the item to the retailer and buy one that has the plate. Does that make any sense to you? At one time, they actually said they were going to send it, then I got that last email. Did you get your plate, and if you did, can you tell me what you did to get them to send it? Thanks.
Thanks for watching! I’ve not used off brand pellets. All 3 of these small pellet smokers work well. I wish the pit boss had the bigger hood like the Asmoke. The grease tray on the z grill is better than the others. The controller on the Pitboss is accurate and produces good smoke.

Tom you have to read closely about the warranty. Asmoke only warrants the control board, probe and igniter for 8 months. Very deceptive.

At $190 I would try the As350.
