IMO as equally impressive as his strength, is that his joints (knees, hips, etc.) have held up as well as they have. This gives me some hope at 47yrs old.
It's actually insane that his joints are still intact after that absurd number of strongman competitions. He has competed more than any other strongman in history, I believe by a wide margin as well. Crazy how there is so little wear and tear after lifting these numbers for decades.
Pretty sure he's in more pain every day than I could stand for 5 minutes, but yes, it's impressive that he's even still functional. Could as well be in a wheelchair, like Ronnie Coleman.

He is defo a genetic anomaly - his achievements and length of career at the elite level is utterly ridiculous
