A great video. What do you think about autel/otofix and Thinktool in the same price range? What are your experiences? I would be happy to get a recommendation.

I can't say I have like for like comparisons due to price variations on the tools I have used previously or currently own.
Autel Ultra is the scan tool we have at work and is targeted at professional workshops and is very expensive.
The thinktool master is a fantastic tool in the price range and I would safely say it competes with the very best options in the range.
The Otofix is a very good cheaper option but can't do as much as the next levels up.
I use the Thinkcar / Thinktool daily and I genuinely love it. Does everything I need for the vast majority of jobs. When I require an oscilloscope or waveform generator I will grab the Autel but that is not a negative on the Thinktool, you can go up models or include add ons to have the scope too.
I imagine that there lower pricepoint tools would be of good value as well, it all depends on how much you are looking to do with it.

Great all round tool, you might already know that the Autel, Topdon and Launch all use the same basic software as the Thinkcar . 👍
Thanks for the comment Darren, I was aware of Topdon & Launch. Autel is a different layout than these ones. I do love my scan tools :)
I’m afraid that scan won’t work on a 2019 Chrysler if no Wi-Fi. For that you will need an older tool like the Snap-on Solus.
Also when your yearly subscription runs out you will get a thousand pop ups eating you to subscribe for updates. By this time, they have deleted your account and the scanner fails to function.
I don’t purchase cheap throw-away scan tools anymore. Two years is about all you get out of it.
This is definitely not a throw away tool. 2 years of updates is a really good amount for a scan tool. I have bought many scan tools over the years for large amounts of money and 12 months was the updates.
This scan tool does not lock you out after the subscription is due for renewal, similar to other brands, you have the ability to skip renewal/updates and the tool will continue to function.
But with any scan tool when working on newer vehicles you will need to have updates so you can continue to work on those vehicles as they come through the workshop, some workshops skip a year or two depending on age range of vehicles coming into their garage.
There are a good number of high quality scan tools on the market, this sits right up there on the list, If you work on many different makes and models, this will do a fantastic job across multiple vehicle's.
