In 4 years I have made 68 Northern Brewer kits and everyone has been excellant!!
I came to look at a beer kit, found two bearded dudes called Nick, follow the signs. This is the one to buy I reckon!
My first batch already tastes awesome on bottling day. Can't wait till it's carbonated and cooled in a week or two. Thanks so much NB! Such great support you have.
I ordered this exact kit.. WITH the catalyst system fermenter... I can't wait. First time brewer here, very excited for the amber.
You guys are awesome and so funny. Thank you for the video! I can't wait to make my own brew.
Love these videos! Thanks NB I got my kit and can't wait to try it
My kit should be here by end of week with the Block Party Amber Ale......But I'm not allowed to open it until Christmas. Can't wait! Oh, and please, keep up the videos, they are great.
Watching the video and giving it my first go right now!
Did a walk along with your video... Made life easier for being a 1st timer.. Great Job!
Just brewed my first batch with block party amber ale. After only 3 days in the bottle, there was already carbonation, and it tasted very good! I wish they had an official video showing how to use the hydrometer that came with my kit, I skipped that step
Notice he didnt comment on the flavor of his beer at the end of the video
Looks like a great kit
I friggin love yall. Best kit ever.
If you're using the catalyst system fermenter... would you just add the sugar straight to the fermenter and stir gently before bottling? the catalyst system is equipped with a bottling attachment, so i wanted to check on the best way to applying the priming sugars.
Is two weeks long enough for it to ferment before bottling Or should I wait longer? (Have this exact kit)
This video is really good, hell How to Brew Everything's Wheat Beer video is also really good, but pleeeease don't follow what Nick does and drink homebrew straight from the bottle.
Wish my kit came with the rack magic auto siphon 🤔
Bought this kit, excited to try it out! My only gripe is that is supposedly contains "everything you need to start brewing today"; but then you talk about keeping your temp between 160-170 degrees... seems like a thermometer might help with that, huh? So now I gotta go out somewhere and find a suitable thermometer to make sure I get this right. Other than that this looks really cool. Already ordered my bottles as well. Let's do this...
When pouring the wort into the fermenter could a sieve be used to catch any sediment?
