Start Email-to-Case Threads from a Case record in Salesforce

  • Turns out Service Cloud's Email-to-Case feature lets you start email threads from the case itself. Although it's called Email-to-Case, it's functionality lets you make the case first and then the outbound email.

    Hello, I'm facing a problem here. I don't want the ThreadID showing in the Subject and the Body of the email. Problem is that if I disable both, when I try to reply to the thread, a new case is created every time. Is there a way to "hide" that ThreadID string? Maybe trough CSS?

    hello i am not able to set up email threading in my org can anyone help me out with all the steps if i am missing something
