Not new per se, been around since 2016 but LOVEBITES is my all time favorite band. Growing up on 80s US metal, they're right up my alley! Own their entire discography. They're playing Mexico first time ever March 1st with Cavalera Brothers, Fear Factory, W.A.S.P., etc. Their riffs are just epic. 🤘
Well I don't know if you have seen it but I have covered them quite a lot, feel free to check the below videos Here is my last video about what I think makes them special ua-cam.com/video/qMwPocSylhs/v-deo.html And here is my concert review from their gig last year that I saw ua-cam.com/video/o1OgURZChQI/v-deo.html
Parabellum and Undeath sound right up my alley. I’ll have to check them both out. And for anyone who liked the sound of Riot City, I’d recommend the band Striker as well. Also from Canada, similar style and sound. They’ve been around for a while now and have plenty of tunes to check out. I’d also like to recommend a new band I recently discovered called Dawn of Ouroboros. They’re a bit of black/death metal hybrid, from California. Very good stuff, set to release their third album, Bioluminescence, on March 7th. And as always I have to throw out the recommendations for Lutharo, Kassogtha, Defacing God and Seven Spires as they are my four horsemen of current metal.
Listening to Dawn Of Ouroboros now, very interesting stuff, will for sure have them on my list. Stiker I have heard, they are fun. Thanks for watching and the tips
Going to see Slomosa next June, excited about that. Another band who have gone on my radar is Kryptan, debut full length coming out next month. Swedish melodic black metal. I really like the two singles released off it
Super strange with the extensive touring that Slomosa are doing this year that they manage to stay away from any place where I could see them unless I drive 4 hours! Listening to Kryptan now, will add them to my list
@@metalandrockzone I'm sure you'll catch them some day. For what it's worth I have to travel from Ireland to Poland to see them at Mystic Festival 2025 lol. Hope you enjoyed Kryptan
Love VOB, can't wait to hear what they have next. There is a new band from Canada called Freeze the Fall, they only have one ep + one song out so far (but new music is coming soon). They are heavily inspired by The Warning but are themselves more towards metal than The Warning. Their newest song "VHS" is probably their heaviest to date, and the video is pretty brutal too.
Well done for highlighting these 5. I know them all but they certainly need more promotion. Slomosa are my favourite of these, and next week I will see them for the fourth time.
Yes I think they were actually in one of my first videos talking about new bands and then again later. Saw them live and they are awesome. Thanks for watching
Great suggestions. Especially Riot City. I really enjoy RIOT V, so looking forward to it. New Band suggestion is the cosmic/sci doom band REMINA crushing atmosphere with Heike Langhans ethereal vocals
Thanks for the shoutout for VOB! Forging a new path for Muslim women, they have overcome many obstacles to reach the world stage! And they played in Ostrava in 2022! Following in the footsteps of the bands that changed their lives forever (SOAD and RATM), what they have to say is as important as what they play (there are NO songs about boys/relationships/bxllshxt), all their original songs pack a strong punch!
@@metalandrockzone Yes, and they had a stunning intro (tried to leave a link but it was deleted, it's on Bioszine YT Channel: "VOB, Openng + Not Public Property, Ostrava")
If i don't have that sick thing to get rid of releases i had 2 with Riot City. Hope i will get them back at one point. Need to give the others a listen.
I'm liking Riot City. Thank you. When you get a chance, check out these albums: Force of Nature by CHALLENGER, Lower Form Resistance by DISSIMULATOR, & Full Contact by KONTACT.
Was the singer in Parabellum in the documentary Decline of western civilization: The metal years, when he was young? Cause he def reminds me of one of the dudes they interviewed!
Some really good brazilian bands, not necessarily new ones. Most sing in portuguese tho 😅 Black Pantera Project46 Sinistra John Wayne Gangrena Gasosa Kryour
Add to your playlist: - Evile - Grand Magus - Lovebites - Nemophila -.Epica - Ne Obliviscaris - Alien Weaponry - Rottengraftty - Sleep Token - Unleash the archers. (all are bands from last 15 years)
Great list! Can't wait to dive deeper with these bands. Another band to check out is BROTALITY! 2 brothers from NY on guitar & bass and both sing. They have a killer drummer as well. Thrashy groove metal. ua-cam.com/video/xQFscTmKTs4/v-deo.html

Damn, I haven't even seen Slomosa once (yet)!
🤘🔥 We're honored to be included alongside such killer bands. Keep supporting underground metal!
Just remember me when I ask for media accreditation when you play the Hollywood Bowl!
Not sure if you've mentioned them before, Spirit World is my favorite band over the last few years!
