Thank you so much for making these videos. I have constant soreness in the muscles of my upper back, neck, and shoulders, and pain in many joints. This gentle exercise is great. I also feel like I need to strengthen my core so that, hopefully, it will help my back.

I have been following your channel for a month now. I hate to say it has changed my life because that sounds so trite, but it's a fact. I always worked out weights, bike riding etc. an hour or more a day. Tai Chi has transformed my body and leaned out my muscles, not to mention arthritis relief. So thanks and I will pass the word about your channel.

Thank you. Invigorating and relaxing at the same time. I love the silk reeling movements. 🙏

Hey just a quick question. I want to learn Tai Chi so bought a book off Ebay by David Carradine (90s book)
Majority of the moves done on UA-cam are completely different than described in the book
Do you have any idea if the book is actually real Tai Chi or just a cash and grab?
Also are you meant to keep your back straight at all times during Tai Chi?
    Thank you 😅

Thanks for your question. I am not familiar with that book, so I can't comment on its quality. The position of the spine depends on the specific movement but in most tai chi moves the back is not overly hunched or overly extended. With qigong movements, there is more bending and extending.

@@beginwithbreathtaichi Thank you for your feedback its most appreciated. Not doing particularly well financially as of now so can't afford classes :(
Your videos are great quality so I will start watching them and try my best to absorb the information!
