The two Ronnie's are so freaking cool...they dont make rocknroll like Faces anymore.
What a band! What a voice! Shakepeare wrote plays, George Best played football and Rod sang. Nobody ever did it better, nobody ever will do it better, it is not possible to do it better.
I so agree! Still 2024.
Great version
That VOICE... Certainly a gift...!
Rod was great with faces and the Jeff beck group. One of the best rock singers. At least to me
My first ever live gig - and to this day the best.
Great voice! Great song! Weirdly Lennon’s anthem back in 70s
As Steve van zandt said when he inducted the faces into the rock n roll hall of fame not many bands get a rebirth Steve Marriott then Rod Stewart the universe 💯 per cent pissed itself laughing reason being all of those band members were so talented we were all heaven blessed to have them in our lives rip Steve Ronnie and Ian and Michael o Sullivan who lived with the small faces at 22 Westmoreland terrace London sw1 the house don arden rented for them I was Michael’s best man I cherish those stories
I never knew rod sang this song i must admit he does it justice Kevin Gogarty Lanarkshire
Nice version of a Lennon song.
Rod at his finest!
As heard on the Faces album "Overtures and Beginners"...
Different versions though
Qué buena versión!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Quando Rod spaccava! Era un grande!!!
Meraviglia
This is my favourite song tod stewart singing it
Lindo
Great performance from Rod but check out The Black Crowes version.
You mean the Black Crowes imitating The Faces version. Always liked them, just never understood why they couldn't admit The Faces were very influential in their act! All great musicians were influenced by someone.
@@RodStewartFan I’ve been to countless BC shows and heard them playing The Faces before they came on. Absolutely a big influence.
I never knew it was john lennons song u akways believed it was rod the plod
He sounds like Roger Taylor of QUEEN.
You mean Rod Stewar the singer sunds like Roger Taylor the drummer??
@@tourdefacre9687 yes I do. Listen the songs in which Roger Taylor sings on Queen's records. Or alive, the voice of both them are very similar...
An example it's "I'M LOVE WITH MY CAR" or "Let me live"...
Rod before he sold out and became a total wanker.
