I feel like there should be a 2nd documentary for those who just want the technical tour. this was like a 1 hour commercial.
Dravous Wild This was made to be shown/played in the terminal while passengers are waiting to board this ship or other ships.
I belive one day i will enjoy this trip with my husband, kids and with my grand kids.....
It was an amazing experience going on this magnificent ship. Not going to lie though I spent most of my time exploring the ship because I was more interested in the ship than the silly activities.
I have been in many cruises, never been in the Allure of the Seas; by watching this video I agree with you, the magnificence of the Ocean together of that of the ship far surpass most if not all the activities.
Some of the activities I find them unintelligent almost embarrassing, specially the comedians, but the Cruise Line is in the business to satisfy all kind of people in order to capture the business, all about money. Show wise I am partial to more structured, wittier, classier shows, i.e., Broadway kind or a good hypnotist, or a meaningful theater presentation, or mingle with intelligent good quality passengers. Unfortunately the rioting, shouting, drunken idiots disturb the ambience. It should be a section for them, so they can unleash without disturbing most of the passengers.
The second thing I am interested in the ship is the Food, I have no opinion, because I would have to taste it first, but it looks good.
Yeah I know how you feel. I went with my family and while they went and did all the uninteresting activities I was either sitting on the balcony enjoying the view of the ocean or I was exploring the ship. I did enjoy the behind the scenes tour though. They showed us everything other than the crew quarters. My favorite part was going to the bridge and talking to the officers. I hope to someday become an officer but as long as I work on the sea I will be happy.
John Handal rioting, shouting, drunken idiots disturb the ambience??... Sounds more like Carnival rather than Royal Caribbean
Casino Junket Las Vegas I can agree with you there. That is more of a carnival thing.
I would do the same. It's a miracle of engineering but most people are only interested in eating, drinking and being stupid. It's similar on an amazing aircraft like the A380, nobody seems to admire the actual aicraft, they're too stupid I guess?
Going on this ship the week of thanksgiving. It's getting excited.
I want to go also, just too see you .. and chill ..
me too........

Why is everyone hating on this ship, I'm so excited to go on the Oasis next year! If you don't like it then don't go on comment on this video just to start fights...
Same here :D I'm going during Christmas 2015 :D One guy was saying he wants it to be the Titanic 2.And I'm like grow up
I went on oasis last year and it was amazing and really fun and I can't wait to go on allure this Christmas!:D
+Matthew Lozano You must be new to UA-cam. Even if there's nothing to criticize, often the first person to post a comment just posts *First!* because they're the first to post. Then others get annoyed and before you know it, everything just disintegrates.
After a while you get used to it. lol
+Matthew Lozano dont say everyone , when everyone is not hating on the ship
+Matthew Lozano i Live in Jamaica right next to the falmouth port.
This ship is the best ship ever seriously you need to go there one time in your life
Why not go EVERY year?
I sailed on the Oasis (balcony room over Central Park) several years ago (they were building the Allure at the time), and it was an amazing experience! My family and I are going on the Freedom in a month, and I'm so excited! I'll miss the water show, lol, but I'll still have fun.
I would have watched the whole thing if it wasn't for the insufferably annoying advertisement lady doing the commentary. Seriously, this isn't a document, this is a 1 hour long advertisement.
+Rauta Arska you are correct it is an advertisment
her voice is like barbed wire through my brain
Tiafain
yep
Tonnin seteli. Suomi perkele
This was made to be shown/played in the terminal while passengers are waiting to board this ship or other ships. Hank Da Silva
I have been on this ship and I loved it. I've have been on 14 cruises, and this is one of my favorites as it was so unique. If you have the chance to go on board and cruise on it, take the chance. You will be amazed.
I cannot wait to go this year. I am on the verge of trying 1 ship from every class of RCCL. I can't get enough of cruising! They certainly do treat you royally.
There's so much in life I'm just missing out of, *sigh*....oh well, could be a lot worse. But I've always wanted to take a trip on a cruise ship like this so so so much, it's such a dream for me.
Malinday ああ Layla just do it when you have the chance! It’s so amazing and you won’t be disappointed. I’m going on this ship in September 2019! I’ve been on 9 cruises already
Personally, I prefer the smaller or mid-sized ships where you can get to know other passengers and crew; those cruises are about three things: the sea, the personal service, and the tranquil relaxation! This reminds me more of a beach resort crossed with a mall and the Vegas strip.. Lots of interesting things to see, but there's too many people, too much walking to get from stern to bow.
Seems fun for people who like doing tons of activities though! And the construction of the ship is amazing! Might be great for big families as well... May still try it one day if only for a change of pace, :) Maybe if life could use a little more energy and excitement!
Who are those "jealous" 159 thumbs down?
These 159 people probably never cruised before or never had the chance to cruise.
Sorry guys but cruise is the best vacation that I ever had.
March 2016 will be my cruise number 12 with Royal Caribbean
+Nyck461 Or people who wanted to watch a documentary about the ship, the crew, the officers the life aboard and the engine room. Not a shitty 1 hour long commercial.
Not jealousy, it's the changing cruise culture of pay the ticket but pretty much have to pay for most of the rest of the ship amenities while on board. Cruises are going away from the inclusive features as they did. I enjoy the land based resorts better, all inclusive too!. . . but hey, enjoy those stinky showers and free water!
Well not everyone is made of money to go on these fancy hotels on the ocean
Yaaaaaasssss. Sailed her Feb 23, 2020 - March 1, 2020.
This will be our second cruise since 2004. We cannot wait.
Best value for vacations. Been on many....whole family going again this August! Great cruise line !
Listening to this narrator makes me madder than a Port-a-Potty at an Enchiladas Festival.
I've got 400 days to go - the wife and i are on the 3 January 2016 7 night Caribbean cruise - can't wait
Lmao
***** Why is that funny?
veoozo Because it's so many days...lol he's saying it like it's a week or a month ahead.
It's not unusual to plan things like a cruise years in advance.
Really is fascinating what goes on behind the scenes. Loved the bit about the food, amazing what they do and to think it's all done at sea. Great documentary.
I went at this trip 3 or 4 years ago, and it was the best vacation of my life !!! I wanna return there it was so amazing and fun 😍😍😍😍
I've been on almost all rccl ships, want to now go on allure!!!
I went to the oasis of the seas the first time he was done and After I went to the allure of the seas. This two boat are dream I wanna go back there at Christmas
so amazing that all this can float on water
Hey....Even crap floats on water. LOL
I've been on this boat and it's sister ship, the Oasis. It is for those that can afford to avoid the trailer trash, ghetto, college frat, gang member, debt riddled angry drunk dad, hordes of obnoxious abused small children, bad food, bad service, kid crowded tiny clouded pools and nasty hut tubs, and cheap, shitty entertainment that most other boats like Carnival and NCL, have become.
The huge Allure IS the ship of dreams. It mostly upper-class affluent passengers are treated like royalty. They have top of the line restaurants and entertainment. The aqua theater, ice skating rink, rock wall, zip lines, Flowriders, etc. They have huge, clean, clear pools and spas, They have lots of space and crowds are at minimum. Their services are unmatched by far. Their staff are superior. You do pay for it, but thank god there is a place you can go to avoid the majority of idiocy this country has become.
thank you!!!!! amen!
Hahahahahahaha this comment wins!
+FoxifiedNutjob Don"t need to be rich to go on this ship, anyone with a little bit of money can do it. I pay $ 1.8oo for a Suite with a balcony overlooking the Ocean, there are others facing the Atrium for $ 200 less. That is a good size cabin for 2. Also you could find cabins a lot cheaper with no balcony, around $ 900 for 2, that means $ 450 each one. So, all you need is time.
+FoxifiedNutjob hey pinhead it was a trailor trash man that parted with just a small portion of his inhertences that paid for these new ships and he has millions of friends ranging from the ex- gang members and the ex drunk and their children and if you dont like it who the hell cares and that man is still homeless waiting for to receive a portion of his inhertences but you morons need your entertainments and your big expencive cars and trucks and big houses that suck up most of the energies that the power companies over charge for
I went on this ship in 2012 and I can't wait to be back on it next year!
Strangely I am not affected by this woman's voice. Kinda soothing imo.
My cruise starts September 27th 2015. Hurray!!
Wonderful experience - going back this year for a second voyage.
Went on This Ship End 2012 and was truly the best.

Cool :D I have seen the Norwegian sun (The Ship that I was on)and the epic next to each other The Epic is gigantic!!!!!!! Going on the allure this December :D
The Allure is amazing, enjoy it. :) For me it's the Anthem this summer
I'm going on this boat from Barcelona to Rome in June for Comic Con on the Seas. I have zero interest in the shows, but some of the activities look fun. The behind the scenes stuff is fascinating how they can feed everyone and how about the way that boat handles?
I've been on 10 cruises and I'm dying to make this one my 11th...crushing is the best!!!!
I'm so happy to go on the Allure next year
Wow, the outdoor activities just look like this is in disneyland or in Ocean Park and during the night, the view really looks romantic. That’s two times much better than Queen Mary 2 despite i’ve never been onboard right there. So after my cousin from UK had introduced me lots of cruise and i did realize Star Cruise is one of the worst cruise in the world i’d ever encountered. I honestly looking forward to choose whether i like to onboard the cruise by cunard or Royal carribean international in the future. That really gives me more alternative to consider which one would be preferable. One day when i’m still continue to make a Top Travel Series, i would ask any passenger to interview the travel experience when i am on the cruise.
Mighty Cruise Ships, on the Documentary Channel is MUCH better.
Too bad they only made 12 episodes.
Best series EVER.
Not long off Allure~ What an extreme ship, you simply cannot comprehend its size, even whilst onboard. It absolutely dwarfs other cruise liners when docked at destinations. To have been on the 3rd largest cruise ship in the world was an absolute honour... Would I go back? More like.. How soon can I go back....
I've been on several cruises. Carnival, Celebrity and RC. The last one was Allure Of The Seas. Wow!! It was bad ass!! Oasis class is the only way to go, in my opinion. There are so many areas on this ship, that it never seemed like it was at full capacity. Harmony Of The Seas, is next. If you booked an Oasis class cruise, get ready for an amazing cruise. If this can't please people, then nothing can.
Awesome shot of Handling Specialty's underwater lifts at 11:20!
I was on this ship on September 28-October 5 2014 and it ruled, out of the 6 ships I've been on this was the best
OCTOBER YEAH!!! YOU DON'T NEED TO SELL ME- I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR CRUISE- WANT TO MEET AS MANY OF THE LEAD PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO TELL THEM ALL WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THEY HAVE CREATED
Amazing cruise ship. I have been on a cruise ship once but it is nothing compare to this one. Hopefully I can be there one day.
já viajamos nele em junho de 2014. uma maravilha!!!!!!!!!!!! adoramos!!!! E´tao grande que 7 dias não deu conhecer todo !!
Some people say the oasis is better and some say the allure is better. Well here's a little news flash, there the same! I'm not mad or trying to be rude.
Can’t wait I’m going in September 8, 2019!
We were on Caribbean trip, noisy and lots entertainment. Caters for younger generation and families.
Allure is a magnificent ship and I would sail on it again in a heartbeat.
MrDiddumz Hello bro, is it for families or couples or friends (Males), I'm planning to go on a cruise at the end of this SEP me and my male friend(we're straight btw) what do you recommend sir?
MrWahhab1881 Twin rooms are available. recommend balcony. They have singles meet ups. The mixture of people is wide, single, families and oldies. You "may" meet some single women, it's the luck of the draw. Still a brilliant holiday either way.
I love how they're called Royal Caribbean when Royal is like the Royal family of England and they're an American company! Lol
Can't wait to go on this cruise on 5th July round the Mediterranean😁😁😁😁
I loved this ship. I spent 7 days on this monster ship 😄👍
Going on this ship in six weeks can't wait 😀😀😀
+Emma Smith lucky... i just got off the oasis and it was amazing
+ShotgunFelatio i went on the oasis two years ago and im going on the allure in about 4 months, it's so much fun!
+Emma Smith Me too!
Doughnut I already went on this beautiful vessel wow best week ever👌🏻👌🏻
This is a promotional video, not a documentary. Please label the video accordingly. I believe this is the only reason for downvotes.
this ship was fantastic. best experience ever. we thought the ship was only half full cause there was no crowds or much waiting for things. but we found out that the ship was full.
Yeah that's how it was for my family on the oasis, and it was overbooked too!
Can you do a documentary on oasis of the seas
I is almost the exact same ship.
Dominic Schmidt same here allure is just bigger but allure of the seas will still share the title nah never mind you heard it in the video at the biginning
ShinnyDimonds Records allure of the seas was supposed to be the exact same length but due to the conditions of when it was built allure is 2 inches longer than oasis
Bodybuilding
Beautiful big ships and many activity. crowded. l understood 6" longer than Oasis.
i love to travel with Royal cant wait for my next cruise with them in oct 😄😄
I want this lady to narrate a day in my life. xD
The place is to chill and have fun. I've never been on the cruise ship, but very soon everything will change ;)
I'm going on this ship in 2 days I'm very excited
so amazing
looks very cheesy for my taste
but it does look like people are having fun and it looks spectacular - the shows even though not my taste ( i like debauchery ) they do look amazing
i would go on it just for the experience - i am just taken back by what is on-board , it seems a vast array of diversion
You got to try the Flowrider. It's fun but dangerous with the rushing waters and you get wipeouts when you lose your balance. But perhaps you might need to go to the safety demonstration first. I was flying everywhere and the board was in the wrong position. 😂😂😂
We are going there
I did a ship inspection on her in November in Ft. Lauderdale: beautiful!!!
my cousin is the ceo for the company which installed the radar system on both oasis and allure of the seas
I've been on this ship in 2017!
I love this ship I am going on it on a one month and 28 days
Went on holiday on this there is sooo much to do
Those cruisers are more like floating cities than ships, i personally would choose a trip on Queen Mary 2.
Best ship ever!
More like an advertisement than a documentary....
In agree!!!
This ship is beautiful
-it looks amazing
A week is nowhere near enough time to experience this behemoth.
This is a commercial, not a documentary.
*The Royal Caribbean Blog always delete posts that give bad reviews, and blocks the users.
(The Royal Caribbean crew members told us that it was because of the bad weather we weren’t able to properly travel, and that it is not their responsibility. We did not pay money to the weather, we did not book a cruise with the weather. They say it’s the weather’s responsibility- even though they were the ones who planned and carried out the cruise. If you ever take a Royal Caribbean Cruise, you’re apparently making a contract with the weather.)
My family recently cruised on Royal Caribbean Cruises, Majesty of the Seas, for three days and four nights. It was the most recommended and had the best reviews. The first night was spent in Miami, the next day was spent in Nassau, and the ship was scheduled to arrive in CocoCay by the second day. This is considered the highlight of the cruise, and it was the reason why we booked in the first place. However, the captain reported that morning that because of weather conditions, the ship would not be able to dock on the island. The entire day was spent on sea with few activities or entertainment. The next day was supposed to be in Key West, however the captain reported again that weather conditions were not ideal and we wouldn’t be able to dock. Out of the three places we were supposed to visit, we only went to one. Everyone on the cruise was very upset, as we spent nearly three whole days on the sea with nothing to do. When we contacted the customer service after the cruise, they claimed they held no responsibility and that we could not get any compensation. We ended up calling several different representatives, but they only repeated that it was not their responsibility and that we couldn’t do anything to get any refunds.
Oasis of The Seas : 361.4928 Meters
Allure of The Seas : 361.7976 Meters
hey everyone, i need help from expert cruisers....
well i've been on the allure before but in the caribbean and i missed some of the ship's shows!
but my family booked this 7 day cruise to the western caribbean (allure of the seas too) and we only have 1 sea day, will I be able to enjoy the ship while spending my days on european cities?
Going in two weeks!! 😊❤
Stephanie Donathan me too
This is a like a vision of hell. A cross between a cheesy theme park, a Novotel, a shopping mall and a mediocre restaurant chain. In other words, everything you can find in any average town. The only difference is that you're stuck out in the ocean in a ginormous tacky tin bath with irritating, bourgeois inhabitants.
Don't call it a "Documentary" when it's an infomercial.
Hmm, I wonder where RC got the two side structures and open center design from?
Check out Joe Farcus interview and Carnival has this design on a prototype ship 20 years ago. I think the idea of the aft water slide is from the Carnival Pinnacle. Just speculation.
super croisiere en mars 2013 en tout point
Pourquoi on ne voit jamais ceux qui travaille dans la salle des machines, aux moteurs?
happy cruise!
What about the amazing engine room?
This is not a ship. This is a factory for entertainment like Las Vegas. Why it floats on the sea?
its the worlds biggest ship... Fucker!
+marge beluso Thank you.
Did I miss footage of the main dining rooms onboard? If I didn't then you need to retitle this video.
Someone who worked on a cruise ship once told me that a ship like this gets about 17 inches a gallon fuel economy.
hey you din't showed Allure Of The Seas' rooms :-(
The mutiny night was lots of fun. The only cruise ship with a brig. Who wouldn't like having dinner with 6,000 strangers? This ship has its own baseball park and team.
been on the allure of the seas in 2012 :)
so nice...
I personally would feel stressed about going on such a big ship like this. I would feel like im missing out on like 500 activities while I'm busy doing other things.
I'll be there oct 2 2016 cruise
Is allure or oasis bigger?
Allure is by half a foot
those ships are wonders for real
Problem with these big ships is that you feel like your at a mall instead of a cruise ship which takes away the main reason for cruising.
Nonsense. I used to work on these ships and you can do what you want as a guest. Partake in every activity or just slip away from everyone. I've known guests who just cruise and never get off and others who spend most of their time in one part of the ship. You make your holiday what you want it to be, especially with these huge ships.
some people didn't know this harmony of the seas is the biggest allure is 2nd
+Nathaniel Oabel yeah, but Harmony has only just been delivered.
Every Oasis class ship is same size, that how they tell you size is different
+1011340 nah each ship is a little bit bigger than the other
Cam Sil same size, first two ship size wasnt told so accurate than latest
+1011340 Harmony of the Seas IS bigger. Harmony's tonnage is 226963 GT, and Allure and Oasis are 225 282 GT, Harmony is also about 2 m longer. That 5 cm difference in lenght between Oasis and Allure was caused by different temperature of the steel during construction. That's less than 0.014 %. They have in practice the same size. Just because ships are sisters doesn't mean that they must have exactly the same size.
Watched mama Mia in the amber it was amazing (source 14 year old boy not really into musicals )
I Love It!!
