Great question! I have used the serum in various steps in my skin care...sometimes after serums and before moisturizer/spf. There is conflicting info out there on whether a primer goes on before or after SPF. In today's video I had applied my SPF much earlier, so applied the serum over the SPF as a primer. But make sure to have your SPF very well set when using it as a primer right before foundation. Hope this helps!

Thank you Sallie! With these high ceilings I was worried about an echo so I layered my bedroom floor with every blanket and cushion and pillow in the house. Now I just need to figure out the lighting LOL. I tried the Agency SPF last summer. I love that it comes in two shades...I am the lighter shade which is jsut enough tint to take the white cast away. Even the deeper shade is not too warm. I found it a tad too glowy for the hot humid summer days...but with your question I pulled it out and retried it. It is very moisturizing and gives a pretty glow, but takes a long time to dry down. I put it on about 45 minutes ago and still feels too "slippery" to apply makeup. I think it might be better on no makeup days and will be amazing especially for outdoor activities as my skin gets super dry this winter. Hope this helps!
I just talked to Kiki who has the channel the Hooded Lid and she LOVES the Agency SPF and says it works nicely under makeup. Kiki said that to apply foundtaion over it if its still slippery to pounce the foundation on with a sponge so it doesn't move the SPF around so I might give that a try. But now that its been a couple hours after applying the SPF it has absorbed nicely and feels silky on the skin and makeup applied over it beautifully. I think Agency offers samples for patients?

The Oralift was responsible for cracking a molar, according to my dentist. Now I have to have a very costly dental implant because my molar cracked to the root and could not be saved. Please beware of this device. It is not approved by any US dentist.
Yea - I love Tamara but I knew I would never purchase something that could misalign my teeth or cause damage to my oral health. Those kind of recommendations really need to come from dentists.
Oralift does not exert any forces on the teeth (except when biting down during fitting - this is for a very short time) therefore it cannot move teeth or break teeth. Dr Mohindra, a dentist with over 40 years experience, has used this device for over twenty years and never come across this. Please provide us with your dentist's name and we can show him why his thinking is flawed.
Thank you Sue for responding. I agree, not sure how this could damage teeth since wearing the device helps us prevent our teeth from touching and clenching. And by reducing clenching and grinding should actually help prevent tooth damage!

Yay! So glad you love your products! I have used the serum two ways...sometimes as the hydrating essence step in my skin care routine before moisturizer and SPF. If I am using it as a glowy primer under makeup, I let the SPF set for quite a while then press in a light layer of serum prior to makeup. There is a bit of disagreeemnt in general about whether "primer" should be applied before or after SPF, but I feel comfortable as long as my SPF has set very well. Hope this helps!
Congratulations on your new home, it's dreamy! Would you care to tell us whose sweater you're wearing here, in that rare, perfect color? I've been looking without success for a sweater in olive, caramel, or tobacco to replace two longtime favorites that have earned their retirement.
I bought an Amazon Essentials long sleeve scoop neck sweater in olive and love it. Very soft. Note, the V neck option is a different fabric which is awful. Kind of stiff and cheap feeling, so I returned. But the scoop neck is a much higher quality.
Thank you! The cashmere sweater is several years old from Lord and Taylor. I wasn't even sure Lord and Taylor was still around...but checked their website and unfortunately did not see any cashmere in a similar color.
My friend got a gorgeous cashmere sweater from the Quince website. They are surprisingly on the affordable size and have tons of neutral colors including gorgeous khaki!

Thank you do much! Foundation shades can be hard online. Merit does have a shade finder on their website which helps. So far I’ve only used the basic ZIIP gel. But I am ordering the gold!

For today I had already completed my morning skin care including moisturizer and SPF a couple hours earlier, so yes, in the video I was using the Merit Serum more as a glowy primer over my skin care. . I have also used the Merit Serum as part of my AM and/or PM skin care to add another layer of moisture.

The Oralift was responsible for cracking a molar, according to my dentist. Now I have to have a very costly dental implant because my molar cracked to the root and could not be saved. Please beware of this device. It is not approved by any US dentist.
Yea - I love Tamara but I knew I would never purchase something that could misalign my teeth or cause damage to my oral health. Those kind of recommendations really need to come from dentists.
Glad I read this before I considered buying it. I have a lot of dental issues (crowns, root canals) Can’t risk doing more damage to my teeth!

Oralift does not exert any forces on the teeth (except when biting down during fitting - this is for a very short time) therefore it cannot move teeth or break teeth. Dr Mohindra, a dentist with over 40 years experience, has used this device for over twenty years and never come across this. Please provide us with your dentist's name and we can show him why his thinking is flawed.

I should have mentioned that in this video! I have come to the conclusion that RevivLash works just as well for me as Revitalash with no prostaglandins and for quite a bit less money.

Yay! So glad you love your products! I have used the serum two ways...sometimes as the hydrating essence step in my skin care routine before moisturizer and SPF. If I am using it as a glowy primer under makeup, I let the SPF set for quite a while then press in a light layer of serum prior to makeup. There is a bit of disagreeemnt in general about whether "primer" should be applied before or after SPF, but I feel comfortable as long as my SPF has set very well. Hope this helps!
Congratulations on your new home, it's dreamy! Would you care to tell us whose sweater you're wearing here, in that rare, perfect color? I've been looking without success for a sweater in olive, caramel, or tobacco to replace two longtime favorites that have earned their retirement.
I bought an Amazon Essentials long sleeve scoop neck sweater in olive and love it. Very soft. Note, the V neck option is a different fabric which is awful. Kind of stiff and cheap feeling, so I returned. But the scoop neck is a much higher quality.
Thank you! The cashmere sweater is several years old from Lord and Taylor. I wasn't even sure Lord and Taylor was still around...but checked their website and unfortunately did not see any cashmere in a similar color.
My friend got a gorgeous cashmere sweater from the Quince website. They are surprisingly on the affordable size and have tons of neutral colors including gorgeous khaki!

Thank you do much! Foundation shades can be hard online. Merit does have a shade finder on their website which helps. So far I’ve only used the basic ZIIP gel. But I am ordering the gold!

For today I had already completed my morning skin care including moisturizer and SPF a couple hours earlier, so yes, in the video I was using the Merit Serum more as a glowy primer over my skin care. . I have also used the Merit Serum as part of my AM and/or PM skin care to add another layer of moisture.

the sound was great, you are very attractive , you look great with and without make up. At first when I saw it was funded by merit ..I became disinterested however, once I fast forwarded , I thought the make up looked great. I prefer the natural look which this product seems to nail .
