    Summary:
    1. Download your beats. Send the beats to the engineer.
    2. Arrive early but not too early.
    3. Memorize your lyrics as well as your flow and cadence. You don't have to memorize all of your lyrics but just memorize them enough. When you rap or sing off the top of your head you're more likely to put out emotions in your songs.
    4. Bring out your confidence even if you have to fake it. You're like a vocal actor so express yourself correctly.
    5. Communicate with the engineer. Tell the engineer what you like, don't like, what could be fixed, etc.
    6. Quality > Quantity. If you worry about the quantity of songs that you're going to make then you're not going to get great quality songs. You can't really one take your songs. Take all of the time that you need.
    7. Break the song down into sections. Know the structure of your song; intro, chorus, verse, outro, etc. and break it down. Try not to do everything in one take. Do whatever replacements are needed even if it's just one bar or one word.

Building the structure of your songs simply knowing your figuring out your flow and style of how you want your song to sound before you even get to the studio. That way it conserves a lot more time. It’s also important to know when and how you’ll take breathers when recording. There’s a lot of fundamental points to building your structure.

I had a recording session today and it was terrible. Have to reschedule. My voice got raspy and lost my range. I had warmed up throughout the day but never strained or felt discomfort, but I was so raspy and had to
Range by the time the recording session came Along. Can help but to feel discouraged.

Do you have everything you need? Do you even know everything you need? I'd love to get your take on it cuz I don't wanna be embarrassed when I walk into a big studio and the studio's engineer asks me questions and I don't know what they're talking about
