- Built by Jason Katwijk in Olympia, Washington, this curved deck features Deceuninck Clubhouse decking, railings, privacy screen, planter boxes, and even the pergola. Jason Russell of Dr. Decks assisted with the curved railing fabrication. According to Katwijk, laying out the stairs was particularly challenging. He also offers this bit of advice: next time he'll prefabricate the inlay in his shop, rather than try to build it onsite.
Great Job!
Wonderful! It's funny to see how better your Deck looks than your neighbors (6:45). It was a great improvement.
Nice. Seems like a bunch of do it over and over again time. Tough project i can see
I have yet to curve composite board....not looking forward
Great Job
Good job sirs
Hats off to the deck crew. Wonderful execution of a difficult job. How many man hours approx. to do this job ? What type of heating element did you use to form the curved boards?
It is interesting what it cost to the customer to erect project like this?
Didn't see any bending.
Any I idea of a software robust enough to pull of this type of deck design? Generic deck software can't handle curves like this.
Real-time landscape architect
where did you get that deck railing ?
terrible annoying music. Couldn't watch. Thumbs down!
