Beaver Trapping A New Swamp

- I decided to trap some beaver with 330 conibear traps in a swamp I found a while ago. There are a few beaver lodges and bank dens around so I knew there would be a good beaver population. I couldn't get out to the lodges themselves to trap but I managed to set some runs near them and got lucky on one. I will be back to trap this area again when winter hits and the swamp freezes over so I can get to the lodges and trap the runs into them. Thanks for watching.

Thank you! Beaver is one of my favorite wild game meats. I've caught them alive and dead, all of which were excellent. The biggest thing is to soak the meat and get all the fat and glands off before cooking. I just filmed some beaver trapping with my family over thanksgiving and we cooked some up.
