I am staying in Sitio right now on Rua do Horizonte overlooking the ocean. I ate at a Artigos Regionais Artesanato restaurant next to me on the plaza. I had a very large bowl of Fish Soup with a healthy serving of Olives and Bread and Giant Tap Beer and a Shrimp and Squid Skewer served with boiled potatoes for $22.50 Euros. It was so much food I could only eat half of it. I had another meal of it at my apartment later. Thanks for your video🙏🏽🙂🙏🏽

We visited 1 week ago loved the view the stunning church. Bought a purse make of cork and dish cloth. To eat I bought these delicious cookies with nuts in 2 big packets packets 5€ .we stopped at a forest nearby for a picnic potatoes tuna tomatoes olive oil .and sangria

I'd LOVE to see one of those communal wash houses in person.
We love them and would love to take our washing down there and chat to the locals! We first came across one in Lisbon, then again in Afurada near to Porto, now here. We'll keep looking out for more.
Cheers Mates! Been there a few times. You can see the mark of the shoe horse in the clif were the legend says that holly mary saved the noble. Yep The cliff as a part of a rock that is the edge, and in that edge is the shoe horse printed in the rock...Cheers, keep it going! Continue the Good travelling!

Where would you suggest staying around that area? Stay in Baleal and do a day trip to Nazare, or stay in Nazare and do a day trip to surf in Baleal in December?
There is definitely a lot more going on in Nazaré. It's quite a happening place with a lovely beach. You won't be surfing there though as it is strictly for the pro's. If you have your own transport then it's fairly easy to drive to Baleal from there. 👍
I didn't realise Portugal had bull fighting rings. Are they still used for that purpose?
We think they are still used, as we saw posters up in Caldas da Rainha when we were there in July. I thought they were advertising cattle sales, being a Kiwi farm girl! ~ Mandy
Yes, they use it for bullfights. Bullfights in Portugal are different from those in Spain (in Portugal, the bull's death is not allowed in the bullring). Despite being very traditional in Portuguese culture, there are fewer and fewer people who watch this atrocity towards animals and I believe that in a very short time, it will be history of the past with the prohibition of the bullfight.

Debating to go to Ericeira, Sao Martingho do Porto or Nazare. Which one has the best views? Which one has a nice town? I am not a surfer 🏄♀️ but I do like to walk and site see. Also, which town has availability for parking our rental car? Thank you!
