Yes best track on the album absolutely beautiful song Jon and Band geeks are a match made in heaven it’s what true Yesfans have been waiting for a very moving masterpiece ♥️
Hey Chris. Thanks for watching the video. It’s a stunning track from a quite brilliant album. Agree with you about the hook up between the two - the Geeks are extremely talented as well. All the very best. Dave ✅✅
Hi there. Thanks so much for watching-appreciate that no end. Masterpiece is a term that often gets used but this time you may just be bang on the button. Thanks again and all the best. Dave✅✅
A TEARFULLY moving & BEAUTIFUL, exquisite EPIC that takes me back deep inside the magic heart of classic YES. Again, the unexpected changes even after several listens are truly magnificent!
Hi there. Thanks for watching this video as well. It’s a similar experience and exposure to what is fast becoming the talking point of the year. Just so great to have this new music available to savour.
Once upon: Jon Anderson. For ever a (my) musical giant. Tears in my eyes from “are we alive” to “you are free”. On October 25 Jon will (hopefully) become 80 years and always young at heart, full of love and the gift that he is free. Honor this time, dreams are meant to be.
@@TheAlbumReviewchannel Thank you. And, thank you for referring to “Siddhartha” (by Hermann Hesse) in one of your other video’s. It did support my understanding of the YES songs.
@@rogerk55 Hi Roger. Thank you for watching. It’s much appreciated. I’m a bit like you I’m as much as this is more like Yes than Yes are! Anderson is on top form and The Geeks are quite amazing
Hello Victor. Thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate that. I’ve featured Jon and The Geeks a lot recently and this is a track I adore as well. It’s as close to a 70s Yes classic as I think you could get. A wonderful track and glad you liked it. All the best. Dave✅✅
@@TheAlbumReviewchannel Dave !! I really enjoyed your reaction video ! I found it spot on !! I just subcribed to your channel !! Keep on the good work!! Peace!!!
I think it is Jon's masterpiece. I was playing this same track in my classroom on a Macbook with blown speakers, and two of my Grade 8 girls immediately sang along with ticki ty, ticki tay and started dancing. First listen, no preconceptions, and crap speakers! They just reacted. I had to stop playback or I would have become tearful. (Not good in front of your home grade.) I love the "woo" that Jon utters that recurs in other places on the album - he was clearly having a blast. For me, the most meaningful album of the year. I have played it every day on the way to and from work since its release. It is the antidote to all the shit. Thank you, Mr Anderson.
Hi there. Thats a great comment you have made here and one I echo. A gift from Jon as he approaches his 80th birthday and we are all so grateful to have him around doing what he is doing. Thanks so much for watching my video. I really appreciate it. Take care. Dave✅✅
Thank you for reviewing this majestic song, it’s the best song for me from the album. From 8:50 to 13:32 the dreamy part, as you do well describe it, is just perfect in every way.

Hi Dave. This is a real surprise. Watched some of their videos, but never thought an album was in the works. Nice to hear Anderson again giving his best. Great that he's surrounded with artists that know their YES by heart. Some say they're giving the middle finger to that "tribute" thing YES is now, sadly. Bollocks. It's good music for the sake of releasing good music. To my ears, is like a logical continuation to "Keys to Ascension" or "Magnification". What do ya think of the new remix Queen 1st album thing?. Ppl gets mad and throw insults for such little things, as if there's not enough chaos in this world. Good music should be our shelter, remixed or not. Thanks for giving me the news about the album. Best regards.
@@Ignatius91 Hi there. Thanks for watching. First of all it’s a great album. Is a middle finger - I don’t know. This is more powerful than the Yes album but I like them both. Not heard the Queen 1 rerelease just yet. Thanks for the kind words. All the best. Dave✅✅
Absolute masterpiece. I’m with you, this is neck and neck with “Counties”. Nonetheless, people will be debating this 100 years from now since True is just that great.
@@benjaminchoadez3112 Hi there Ben. Thanks for watching the video. It’s a superb album and these two tracks are the tops. Thanks again. All the best. Dave✅✅
Have difficulty assigning a "Best" since in my estimation "the best" keeps changing [just like any of the old YES albums did to me]. But lets just say that "Still a Friend" inspires a feeling of listening to "Fragile" when it was new to me, and that is hard to ignore. Love it.
Hi there. That’s a very fair comment and it does change as opinions change. It’s good and so is SAF so that’s really all that matters. Listen, thanks so much for stopping by and watching my video and for leaving a great comment. All the best. Dave✅✅
Hi David. Thanks for watching the video. It’s a classy album all through but a shame we don’t get to see them in the UK as you say. Thanks again. All the best. Dave✅✅
The worst thing about "Once Upon a Dream" is that it is keeping me from giving the other tracks the attention they deserve. I'll sit down, intending to give the complete album another listen, but every time I must play "Once Upon a Dream" before doing so and I may listen to it several times before getting to the rest of the album. Like the best Yes albums of yesteryear, every song improves with repeated listening, especially this one.
Hi. Thats a really interesting point. It can get to you like that sometimes. But it’s a nice problem to have 😄 Thanks for watching and all the best. Dave✅✅
For me, the best track is 'Counties and Countries'. I like this track a lot, but I assumed it would be the best track, easily, but it wasn't. It's still great; just not as great as I assumed it would be.
