Brilliant performance! I even loved how they sang and played quieter at the end to fade out, and even stopped playing before the music ended.
Yup 100% lip synched. Keyboard plays itself after the beginning. No way these guys can sing those harmonies now, they couldn’t do it live when they were young.
No guitar leads or speakers is a bit of a giveaway too

I remember this hit from the mid 70s...I was only 10 years of age...Used to play this on my Pityful Portable Picnic Player until the needle ran out from wear & tear. Always brings back the BEST of memories when I was in Primary School. Best times EVER!

Saw them in 1975 and again in 1993, I was just a little kid the first time I saw them. They were a very underrated band and a huge influence on Metal music in the 1980ies.
What a fun song ! I love it. Reminds me of my younger years ! I'm sorry to hear of the loss of one of the members of the band but he will live on in his music. They don't make bands like this anymore !

I'd call that pure joy... I'd also call it vastly underrated by the critics of the 70's. Time has spoken, Sweet are here to stay as long as rock lives.
My grandparents had this song on their jukebox in the 70s! I was so young & spent way too much time in their bar / restaurant! I LOVED this song & was excited every time someone played it!

For me, The Sweet band is primarily Brian Francis Connolly. I simply adore his work! He sang his last song in 1995... So many years have passed, BUT! Brian Connolly and his work in the band The Sweet, forever in my heart.

Great performance !! Love the band Sweet and sad to see Steve Priest pass away recently RIP. I can say I was at the "right time" when the band was at their peak 1973-1978 (12 years old to 17 years old) to fully enjoy their greatness. This band gave hope to those in their teens in the mid 1970's of starting their own "garage rock band" as their tunes were catchy similar to those in the 1960's as opposed to the played out album rock that was so popular back then.
Sounds like we're the same age (I was born in 1961) and I too loved Sweet during that time frame!
