Most impressive. Francis Rossi and the band STILL rocks like in the Good Old Days. Cannot eait to see them, should they tour again this year. What a Band !😂
the power lights on the Marshalls were switched off for environmental reasons, the drums were played so hard they didn't need mic-ing up, and Rossi can make whatever chord he wants come out of the amps because he's....er.....magic

I still have a stack of singles in there covers , This is the only single i like of Status Quo , Considering this is live Very good, Not many artists who sing live are not as good as the Record itself, I don't keep Music artists who sound Bloody rubbish live;" Full stop" This Track I've kept,😊 Anyway. I put the Music on my phone while i was in Kitchen. A music track started to play i rushed in it was Status Quo the wrong Track i thought ? After a few seconds i realised it was Paper plane. Because there Music sounds much like there other Music, Anyway. Paper Plane is the only Track i like. Nothing personal,;😊
And... If they were live, there is no way they'd want to damage the hearing of those delicate table diners who are sat just feet away from those Marshall stacks! 😂
First heard Paper Plane on Radio Caroline 50yrs ago…..Quo became the best rocking band in the World……6 yrs later went Poppy and they were done……but happy days at Glasgow Apollo
Great band, great music. Sure some of the greats have sadly passed on and it may be seen as a stopper...? Nah... Richie was partly taught and trained by Rick. Quo are all about the sound. Rhino is great on bass as always, Andy is the quieter, but so good, multi musician and Francis is such a GREAT guitarist . A fun lovin proferssional who still loves his work. I,ll die before Quo does... Rock on lads...
This band play Status Quo’s hits very well but should be known as ‘Francis Rossi & Friends’ in my view. They are a pale pastiche of the original band that I saw often throughout the 70s. The SQ ‘frantic four’ were simply the best.
Rhino & Andy have been in the band for longer than Alan and John. But if the name bothers you so much, fair enough. Just be thankful you're not a Dr. Feelgood fan 😁
Went to see them in about 1972 at the Marquee in london. Setting up, the roadie hit the snare a couple of times. I thought 'F×××, this is gonna be loud'.
