In the first numbers round, this easier-to-calculate solution was also possible:
6 / 3 = 2
75 x 2 = 150
150 + 10 = 160
100 / 25 = 4
160 + 4 = 164
Another way of doing the same thing, since the ratio between the large numbers permits it, is:
25 x 6 = 150
150 + 10 = 160
100 x 3 = 300
300 / 75 = 4
160 + 4 = 164
In the second round, I saw Rachel's solution and I think this may be the only other solution:
8 x 6 = 48
75 - 48 = 27
25 + 4 = 29
29 x 27 = 783
783 + 4 = 787
With an odd target number and no odds among the small numbers, it usually limits the number of potential solutions drastically.
In the third round, I had this pair of related solutions:
50 / 25 = 2
100 x 2 = 200
200 - 6 = 194
194 x 5 = 970
970 + 7 = 977
100 x 50 = 5000
25 x 6 = 150
5000 - 150 = 4850
4850 / 5 = 970
970 + 7 = 977
In the final numbers round, I saw Rachel's solution and also had these ones:
75 - 9 = 66
10 + 4 = 14
66 x 14 = 924
50 / 5 = 10
924 - 10 = 914
75 x 10 = 750
50 - 9 = 41
41 x 4 = 164
750 + 164 = 914

7:13 Did you do that on the 65 times table, or the 14 times table?

If she did it like me she probably used the 7 times table... 91/7 = 13, which is therefore 6.5 x 14, then scale it up by ten, i.e. 65 x 14
You have to remember she's been doing this for years and knows all the tricks... as well as being mathematically gifted. I got there in the end, but it took me way longer than 30 seconds... I got 915 within the time... 75x(9+4)-50-10

For the second round, Rachel's solution is very obvious, since 4+6=10 give a clue to the solution.
For the third round, apart from Rachel's solution, I also get this:
50 / 25 = 2
2 x 100 = 200
200 - 6 = 194
194 x 5 = 970
970 + 7 = 977
For the last round, I only get one 913 solution and many solutions getting 915 until I see Rachel's solution.
