Great channel mate. My only advice is that both you and the bearded explorer need to improve your knowledge of cars from the second half the 20th century, there's simply too many cars you don't know that we do. Too much time invested in ratty old VWs and BMWs I expect! Go to car shows, classic auctions etc. Keep up the good work!
Hi mate thanks for your advice i appreciate the comment, Thing is i don't do this to be overly knowledgeable, i do this for fun just to see what's out there, self confessed i don't know every make and model, i have 8 children and several other commitments plus being an old git its hard to keep track of everything, But i will try and learn more its just we all have that era that we grew up in and are understandably more into the know of that set of vehicles, I often make mistakes but i don't cover them up like some other youtubers i openly show i have little knowledge on vehicles, people forget that i edit my videos so i can easily edit mistakes out, but i keep them in to show how genuine i am, full transparency is key to a successful channel growth, This is just for fun, i, Cheers for stopping by.....
@@ImStokze totally disagree with the above poster. We enjoy you sharing your knowledge with your subscribers, how genuine you are and the lengths you go to to bring us content. Your not watched for your intrinsic technical knowledge, if that’s what someone’s looking for there are alternatives. All the best mate.
@@ImStokze you've got more knowledge of Starbucks products than any of us 🤣 all seriousness keep up what your doing, iv a vast knowledge of what most vehicles are but I find that part of the fun working out what cars what! Not only that but half the cars you cant tell what they are due to them rusting away anyway so ignore the poster being negative, your honesty is part of what makes the channel interesting & to be fair you've probably got more knowledge on cars than 90% of the people watching your channel! Keep it up 💪
Typical car guy, "you didn't know the difference between a mk1 and a mk1.5 VW Golf rear light, you obvs know NOTHING about cars and have NOTHING useful to say to me!!" FFS.
@@ImStokze you do an amazing job and as you said you don't and can't know Everything but tbh I think that's why people like you because I for one would stop watching you if you knew every single thing about cars and every single make and fact on them so don't change and keep doing what your doing 👍
Sunbeam rapier 👍
Very cool, remember these as a boy.
@@RJK59man showing your age. I'm the same though 😂
Got a picture of me sitting in my dad's when I was 3 in the early 70's, was a yellow ish colour, picture is pretty faded though.
Indeed, best classic there.
Remember as a kid a woman a few doors away had same colour rapier
Awesome location bro 👌 as others have mentioned the first red car is a Sunbeam Rapier, the "hot" version was the H120, had a Holbay motor on twin 40s 👌 same motor that was in the Hunter GLS!! Yes it was a Super Minx, and the Austin of Englands were A35s, the van version will be pretty rare!! As used by Wallace and Gromit on numerous occasions 🤣🤣
Immediately, Alfa/Sunbeam Rapier/Montego Turbo, holy cow, some rareties. Then the whole video turned into GASPS and shock. One of your very best mate. I’m sure I speak for everyone by saying content like this is the very best. We all love it. Stokezy an Oscar of a video👍👍
@@Rick-S-6063 there is one over Boston Lincs way, a bit out of boston on horncastle road from memory, its a met blue onealways sat on side of the road better Nick than one in vid, but not roadworthy
Sunbeam Alpine was sold in UK also it was the poorer version of the Rapier.
Even rarer the Alfa spider is a first generation “boat tail”; mega rare
Aaaww, mate! Your declaration of hurt and pain for these dying cars is honestly touching. Your love for them is greater than some folks love for life ❤️. Keep up the good work mate 👍
That poor Capri and Montego, great video stu
Always amazes me how ppl can leave these cars with their windows open! Great video as per usual 👏
Ahh how sad - another collection of cars just left to rot and fight with the undergrowth - seeing those trees literally growing around the poor Capri … 😭🚘
Your emotion as always spotting the Porsche was contagious - very sad - maybe she’ll get rescued!
Thanks for making the long trip and another excellent video 👍👍
The more I watched this video the hate I was building for the owners.
Really enjoyed the video as always and appreciate the lengths you go to buddy to do what you do
Nice collection of cars stu good video looking forward to the year watching your channel stay safe m8 and HNY ....
Some real gems on this find Stu, great start to 2023.
Great video and a great location and could hear in your voice how happy you were with this location, keep being you and don't change for anyone asking in the comments m8 your fine as you are and if people don't like it they can find someone else to watch🙂👍
Great Videos KDM... you show it like it ls and tell it like it is !! no nonsense,I appreciate it that you spend lots of time and travel for your videos to show us your car world Thanks
Excellent finds.
The Alfa Romeo Spyder is one of the prettiest cars ever 👍😊👍
I'm sat here with tears 😢 in my eye absolutely gutted what a waste of some iconic cars . Another great video buddy
Morning stu, thanks for starting my weekend with a smile. 💪🏼💪🏼
The Montego MG Turbo was a highlight for me they were very rare in the day, it was MGs attempt to compete with the Sierra Cosworth and Renault 21 Turbo but it didn't live up to those standards so sold very few. The MG was a good sell but the MG Turbo was rare and so today would be very collectible.
My grandad had one back in the day in British racing green. Fantastic car but started rusting in some odd places so it had to go
they were not particularly rare nor were they built to compete with the Cossie etc, just a sports saloon that they added a turbo to and expanded the range, the rare car was the MG Maestro turbo
That's a cracking location with some great finds.Really enjoyed the video stu as always.Cheers buddy👍
Great video stu, some lovely cars there, such a shame to see them rotting away, loving the content👍
Brilliant buddy...!! 👍👍👍👍
hi stu what a great video for 2023 cheers bud
Such a crying shame to see all those beautiful old cars just rusting away . Like you I would have the GT6 and the Austin A35 van . Love you channel keep up the good work in the new year .
Great video stu some nice little finds there mate, always enjoy your footage and this a great location. Loving the triumph my mate had one of them in brown that should be saved, looks like a sport edition, and the Capri what a shame, look forward to seeing the next video. 👊
That Austin van ! What a shame dude . A lot of rare ish cars there that sunbeam rapier looked nice not seen one for years 😢
great video ! 🙂
Another great video buddy, keep up the good work
Some awesome finds there Stu, that Montego Turbo was a rocket ship back in the day!
Great location stu fantastic classics. Loved the porsche always wanted one keep it coming mate 👍👍
Another nice video buddy ,such a shame seeing so many left like that as always, looking forward to seeing your next video.
Great video Stu as always . The car next to the Alfa at the start is a Sunbeam Rapier . Quite rare car now .... Stay safe keep em coming
Very cool, really enjoyed!!!!
Great explore stu Sundays video looks interesting 👍
Appreciate your time stu with the travelling you do and another great find fella, a good variety of cars and when you said you didn't look at the Austin van i was why have you missed it lol id love one of them Wallace and gromit 🤣,and I'm old enough to have owned a couple of capris when I was 18 years old i had a 2litre ghia capri and I was the talk of the area because it was so special at the time 🤣🤣thanks again for your post take care
Always enjoy these car explores Brother. It's amazing how nature does reclaim her space around buildings and cars. Stay safe my friend and enjoy every moment of life 🤠🌲🍃
brilliant. loved it thank you
Wow what a collection, idk anything about the old school cars from Europe but love to learn about what you guys have had over. Crazy how ford made different cars all over the world when I thought they were all the same models like here in the states. Dude although most those cars may not seem the light of day again, they can still be restored just gotta have a lot of bread to get them going. I'm digging the red triumph fast back, would be cool to see that one restore or at least running, detailed, and patina it. Just subscribed to your channel and curious to see more. 👍👍
Wow you really come up with the goods this week .The MG Montego has been sat there since 1997 .The poor Capri since 1996 .The Vauxhall Victor estate very rare since 1989 .The Hillman Super Minx since 1993. The hillman Avenger estate was sad to see i love those now very rare cars .The biggest shocker was the Alfa Romeo ! in fact apart from the Rovers and Range Rover all those cars are very rare now. That Red coupe is a desireable Sunbeam Rapier .Great video 👍
Great video again buddy. That MG montego 😭😭.
Always fabulous content ole bean
Love the old style motors they all have a story to tell 😀
Outstanding find, great job 👍
Austin A 35 Van & Austin A35 2 door . Top top upload -priceless document .Thanks
Your face at that drive through said it all lol priceless just give me my coffee ☕ 🤣 and the red car next to the alfa is a sunbeam rapier alpine ithink most came in green as my dad had 1 30 years ago I've never seen a red one needs saving and have happy new year stu top job from dice 🎲
Mate you pulled this one out of the bag, good find congrats 👊🏼
Blimey Stu there were certainly some classics there.
Stay cool brother 🤘🙏
Wicked video stu, you never let us down. Great location. Wish I could save a few of those gems 😫
Wow! What a location, you did good Stu! Really enjoyed that, well, what I could see through the tears 😢
Amazing, pity I can only hit the "like" button once!!! So many old classics you could have been there longer. Brilliant mate, just brilliant 👍
What an incredible video! I was already having a great morning, but this has just ensured I’ll be happy all day long! MG Montego 🙌🏻 Rover Metro (in racing green), Rover 600 & 200. Throw in a Capri? Oh go on then!! 😂
Thanks mate!!
Hi definitely a Sunbeam Rapier my uncle had one back in the day, it was the first car I travelled in over 100 mph, I was maybe ten at the time and thought it was unbelievable but sworn to secrecy not to tell my mum and dad!!
Thanks for the videos keep them coming.
Take Care Stay Safe Everyone Regards Dave 👍😎🏴
What can i say so cool all those classics rotting away im sure they would be worth some money makes you cry
Nice finds there..👍
Starbucks part.😂
Fantastic explore mate as ever .... Such a shame I feel your pain if only we had the time and money an space we could rescue all these cars and give them life again..... Oh and did I hear right around that Capri where 'Capri tree 's ' keep up the good work and stay safe
when i see the cars im reminded of christine when arnie says show me and the car fixes itself lol
Watching your videos makes me realise as humans we all have hopes and aspirations people collect cars hope to restore them unfortunately get ill die and they are left like this which is a real shame its heart breaking really but I/we really appreciate the content thank you
Goood blog love the old cars i have a 1979 midget and love it
Omg stokzey absolutely brilliant video 👍❤️ I can't believe what I've just seen yet again ppls stupidness fails to surprise me brilliant
As others have said thats a Sunbeam Rapier. My dad had a British racing green one when I was growing up in the 70s. The B pillar goes down when you wind the windows down, to open up the sides completely 👍
Thanks for putting the miles in because that was a great find 👍
Cool finds keep it up Stu
good one mate . lovelly old treasure . but alas too far gone
Best way to start weekend , coffe and STOKZE
Great video and exploration
Brilliant content Stu what a place just such a shame how there just rotten away
Another great video Stu, some really classics in there that desperately need saving! I often wonder if some of the cars in your vids with the plates still on are recognised by the previous owners.....
Bedford midi van , now that’s a rare find, not many of them left.
Yeah and I totally forgot to look at it 🤷🏽♂️🤦♂️
Awesome video bruva 👍 👍👍👍
Great video Stu 👍
Good job stu seeing that mg montey wow and the gti metty nearly killed me to watch and the capri at the end finished me off sad sad sad 😔 keep up the good work top job
I had MG montego for six weeks, was the worst car I’ve ever had. Sold it for same as I paid. That a relief! Celebrated that night.
Best location in a long while mate , that GT6 looks savable, there is one near me that's been sat in a front garden for nearly 40 years and it's pretty much turned into dust! 😢 . The avenger was made by Hillman not Austin, I drove an old estate like that one many years ago , not seen one in ages . 👍.
I thought I heard him say its an Austin Avenger and I said to myself "NO" its a Hillman, I passed my driving test in a Hillman Avenger back in 1972 and I owned one back in the 70/80's Great car
Proper bushwhacking to get round those motors respect bro!
Great video but oh so sad can’t remember seeing a Montego for years see a couple of mg maestro’s every fortnight and one’s a turbo keep up the good work👍
How ya Stu
Great vid bro - the GT6 - Avenger estate & montego turbo were excellent finds - lookin forward to Sunday's video - take care & stay safe bud 😎👍🏻
I'd love to get that buggy out of there! Rescued one off a drove in Wolverhampton 25 years ago, great fun!
you cannot beat imstokze on saturday great viewing top man you deserve a oscar for your effort you put into your videos keep up the good work mate great viewing again top man 🚙🚙🚙
Triumph Spitfire GT6 2+2. What an amazing little car with a 6 cylinder engine.
That Capri 😬😬
Morning stu
Great video 👍
TBE Colin would've run out of OMG crys viewing this lovely lot.
Many sins being carried out here.
Many thanks for posting
Love the channel only found it in the last few months, I love stuff like this I'm the same I want to take it all home however I don't even have a driveway. 😂😂
👌 great finds amigo 👏 capri 🥲 such a shame to see. Thanks for the video 📹
Good vid loving the austin a30s 👍
Good video stu few rare old beast in today graveyard keep up good work
Excellent video stu and if you down Cornwall again, I show some places of interest
*Man I'd love that GT6 Triumph! The old Catree looked sad but an Avenger estate would make a cool restomod.*
That poor ford capri. Made me sad. A35. And Austin montego. That capri omg. Good work stu
The red fastback car is a Sunbeam Rapier Coupe. I fancied one of these at one time. It’s getting difficult to find good examples of these cars now. It’s a pity that this one has been left abandoned, with a lot of the interior missing. The old Vauxhall Victor estate is a real rarity. That car should definitely be rescued before it is too late. Another great explore.
It's not a Victor, it's a PB Cresta, even rarer.
Great video, real car graveyard, unfortunately not many of them left, that poor capri and montego, I think next time you need to take a hedge trimmer, haha
some lovely finds there that turbo tho😭 love the carina 2.0 cdx unsung cracking car metro was a nice edition too 1.4s / gta?
It so sad to see the cars sat there it just cost so much money to put them right other great video thank u bud
What a location Stu , some proper classics there what’s the story behind this place I wonder , happy car hunting mate keep it up
Great find mate 👍
Its wallace n gromits bread van! Lol. Awesome find them motors dude. 👍
I was so happy you appear to have been visiting Farnham, the place of my late father's birth. Added props for finding the Rapier a car close to my heart as I own one here in the US (actually known over here as a Sunbeam Alpine coupe) with only 4800 miles on it and is in unmolested showroom condition!
And a HILLMAN Avenger wagon too! I am restoring one of these four doors at the moment. In the US they were called Plymouth Crickets and are very, very rare today. Great find mate.
How do you know it was Farnham ? My birthplace too
@@r4lfg During the Starbucks run the name pops up in the corner of the screen. This US based Godalming lad tends notice stuff like that!
Robin, mate, keep hold of your precious Sunbeam Alpine Fastback - Rare, but MUCH rarer in the USA
Your Alpine is a "single carb" version of the RAPIER (which was/has Twin-carb's, instead of Alpine's single)
The Alpine WASN'T popular over here, but the Sunbeam Rapier Fastback was, yet, so few survive.
Love of my life, my 1st-ever car was a 1967 Sunbeam Rapier Fastback in "Dark Sherwood Metallic Green"
Went like the clappers for a car of it's size/displacement (1,725cc twin-carb' - Stromberg Carburettors)
On a summers day, wind the windows down & have a true "pillar-less coupe" with the vent windows angled.
Such a damn cool looking car for a 17/18 y/o lad like me, no-wonder I just fell in LOVE with it !!!!!!
@@hawnyfox3411 Thanks Hawny, yeah, I believe mine to the best surviving example over here. It was in a 100 car collection in Nashville for 30 years which accounts for it's condition and low miles. My first car was a 63 Ford Consul Capri so you car tell I like a bit of rare myself!
Great location looking forward to tomorrow mornings episode 👍 that range rover needs saving but I expect like most of them would cost more than they’re worth to restore I could happily sit and soak up that place for ages looking at the cars wondering their story and how they got there
Thanks for the good coverage on the vauxhall find more
That was gut wrenching
Happy new year to you,I really enjoyed your latest video, what a collection of cars ,all need saving if only for parts, when did you last see a mg montego ! Shame you did not look at the red Bedford midi van,a rare thing now.
it's completely crazy alls this cars outside !!!! the station wagon it's lovely !!
the red hyundai pony , it's very unic !! and the two citroen zx are very superbe !!
