I have a 2023 TRD Sport with the manual transmission. Even as an experienced manual driver I love the hill start control. Really makes starting on a hill easy, and reduces wear on the clutch.
I have myself an oldie but goodie. 2006 Toyota Tacoma Sport TRD. 6-Speed Manual V6. access cab. With tow pkg. Never had a problem. Giving her a makeover. New carpet, stereo etc.
That's cool about the color changing in the gauge cluster screen, and thank you for the brightness adjustment tip on this screen as well!! I haven't been able to figure it out and it was bothering me haha. Something neat I just learned on this screen the other week - if you're using the vehicle navigation (not thru carplay), the directions will pop-up in the center screen for upcoming turns/changes, and you can leave them up as an option as well.
Same but I think he meant it’s automatically a standard option on 2020 and up. Before it was an add on for an extra price. At least I think cause my 2019 SR5 has it as well. But I got mine used with 15k miles on it so idk if it was added on later or what.
Im running 275/70 R17 on my taco with no lift and it does rub a little on driver side fender liner I think that’s the biggest tire size u can run with no lift
You are seriously lucky, my friend. I've been looking for a new loaded '22 off road. None to be had in the SW. Especially with a manual transmission (that I want). I found a basic OR w/M-T and grabbed it. It should arrive next week. Good luck w/yours.
Awesome content like the video. Appreciate the tips. I believe you're pronouncing Toyota Tee yota I have another Hispanic Chicano friend close friend. He says it that way too. I like it. I believe it's pronounced taw-yoh-tuh....toe yo ta. Much love and positive vibes your way brother. I definitely hit that subscribe button. See you in the next video!
I watched a video and wanted to know how to wind up and down windows with truck turned off.. Well I got it.. While sitting in the truck without putting foot on break.press start button 2 xs...and after adjusting just push starting button to turn truck on xx
New viewer just subscribed. What Tacoma model is in this video and what year? Are those stock rims and tires? If not tell me about them. Any info is appreciated.
Love the video! I do have a few questions...is your truck lifted, if so how many inches? and, where can I get the Palestinian merch? (sticker and plates) Thanks!
Hey great vid new subscriber! I have 2019 trd off road. For the pre collision I see it beeps and says brake if you get to close to someone. Do you know if it would stop you if it got closer or does it just beep and say brake? Just curious thank u!
Lmao hilarious dude. Thanks for great content, I'm picking up my Tacoma in the morning and literally buying everything (from what's still available 😒) from your exterior mods video, def get a like and sub from me 🤙🏽
You "actually" did a great job. I "actually" learned allot. "Actually" I can't help tease. But seriously thanks for the great video. You really did a great job.
I keep mine in S4 for city or anything 40 ish mph or below. Shift up to 5th when need to, then 6th if on the interstate. Sport mode is great on these trucks, I use it all the time.
When you are showing off the screen from now on ( IT WOULD HELP IT YOU WOULD LOOK FIRST TO MAKE SURE THERES “”NO”” GLARE , BEFORE YOU MAKE THE VIDEO ) because we can’t see what you just showed us ! Thx
The hill stop assist "feature" is useless at best, dangerous as all hell at worst. My biggest complaint about both my 2018 and 21 Tacos. I have a steep driveway. If I try to use it the truck just rolls back whilst making a loud clicking noise, then all trouble lights go on and the truck shuts down. Imagine rolling backward down a long, steep hill without any power. F-ing creepy. Took my 2018 to the dealer over it. The tech said that's just how it works by design, IOW it fails on steep hills. I have no idea what Toyota was thinking with this "feature" they designed to get you dead.

Bro your videos are great! Super helpful! Just bought a 2023 Toyota Tacoma trd off road 4x4 and figured out so much through your videos! 🤙
Glad I could help!
Thank you, I'm an older woman and I really enjoy the knowledge you are sharing
The 4 cylinder engine is not a V configuration engine, it is an inline 4.
Oh right thank you!
I thought did away with the 4 cylinder
@@terryeverly5617 no it is still for sale, its just that nobody seems to buy it.
I was like, V4???
The way he said tonneau and Toyota. Made me really hate this video and then the “v4” at the end was just a cherry on top
I have myself an oldie but goodie. 2006 Toyota Tacoma Sport TRD. 6-Speed Manual V6. access cab. With tow pkg. Never had a problem. Giving her a makeover. New carpet, stereo etc.
Ooo yes amazing
Great information just purchased a manual, 2018 TRD 2 days ago. Love it keeping it stock.
Thanks! Congrats
I said that about $1200.00 ago.🥴
Love how you always keep the truck clean
Thanks buddy

Just got a 2023 TRD Pro, already figured all those out!! Thanks!
niceeeee
Unrestricted guy. Is one of the Hidden gems about the Toyota trucks that they're having transmission problems. Is that considered a hidden gem
Yes it is
Nice video! I have a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off road.
Just one thing, the 4cyl version is an I-4 or inline 4, not a V4 🤪
🤦♂️true! Thanks buddy
Just got a new to me 2020 Tacoma and your videos have been very helpful
Yessssir Congrats!
amazing video i didn’t know my taco could do all these things 🤩
Yes sir! 🤩
You mentioned that 2020 and up had the towing package, I have a 2018 SR5 4x2 and it has the towing package
Oh I see!

I got a 2019 Limited Tacoma 4x4. Apparently this configuration is pretty rare
Oooo hm
I have a 2021 off road and it does not have incline assist. Which sucks when pulling boat out of water.
For some reason, your volume disappears after your intro, so people can't hear you. It is working now. Great video..Thanks !
what size tires do you have and did you need to trim anything or lift it? Truck looks great!
No need for adjustment,
265/75/16
Im running 275/70 R17 on my taco with no lift and it does rub a little on driver side fender liner I think that’s the biggest tire size u can run with no lift
heyy great video dude, more convinced on getting one now more than ever, looking at a 4 door sr5 4x4 v6 with 60k miles for $33k.
Can a welder machine be added?
Hm I’m not sure
@@TheUnrestricted okay ....
Ok…..
I WAS JUST WONDERING IF YOU COULD CHANGE THE COLOR!!!!!!💪🏻💪🏻🔥🔥

Hello - In this video, is your Tacoma lifted? Also, which tire and wheel setup do you have please?
Yes it is
@@TheUnrestricted Thank you 🙏
just bought mine 11/2/2021 LOL good stuff!
Yessssir!
Just got a 2022 TRD Off road (w premium OR and sound package). I think it’s the closest to a pro under 50K lol especially in this market.
Nice!

Thanks, Boss...nice...can you tell us about add ons for the 2022 that are cool?

Cool 😎 love the settings options on the dash screen & entertainment . I had no clue .. thanks for this video
No worries! 😁
Love the videos!

2020 TRD OR checking in, i never read the manuals like i should, thank you for pointing these out
No problem and thank you!
Please do a vid on how to setup and use the Amazon Alexa feature thru an iPhone using the Toyota+Alexa app.

What brand are your headlights and how long have you had them? I’m scared or discoloration when purchasing aftermarket.
It’s Chinese, had them for about a year still fine
Didn’t see your headlights listed in the description?
I got them off eBay a while ago and link isn’t available. But there a lot just like them out there
Awesome info, thank you
Thanks
The legendary “V4”
New viewer just subscribed. What Tacoma model is in this video and what year? Are those stock rims and tires? If not tell me about them. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks buddy!
21’ SR5
Stock rims
Can u tell me about the tires your running? like this channel good job!
What are the tire and lift setup on that? Looks like it has wheel spacers. Looks nice!
Thanks yes I got videos on it sll
1:49 how did you get the bed mat highlighted in red?
Painted jt
I think in-line four, they have for the SR trim tacoma.
True
Hill start doesn't work in the TRD offroad. I have no idea what the mechanical clunking it does instead is for. Both my Offroad tacos did this
Hm wow weird!
I have a 2020 sport that has auto start on it.but it is not mentioned in the owners manual or on the sticker. The dealer showed me how to use it
Ah I see yeah
I have a question for you do you know if the SR 26k package still have the same ride height as the SR5?
I think it’s the same
what model is this with the color matched fender flares? I thought the sport had color matched front bumper gaurd as well
Love the video! I do have a few questions...is your truck lifted, if so how many inches? and, where can I get the Palestinian merch? (sticker and plates) Thanks!

something that bother of my tacoma, is the button in the velocimeter area, its make dust enter.
I agree
Hey man what color is your Tacoma???
Cement Grey
Hi brother ! What size of wheels and tires do you use in your Tacoma !?
265/75/16
I got a 2019.. and mine will roll backward on a hill.. is there a switch or something for that?
Oh hm no it’s supposed to me automatic
why is sound coming out of only one of my speakers with this video!
Is there no other lift you have done to the truck other than a two inch lift in the front?
2 inches fromt
What size wheels and tires are those that's the look I'm going for?
265/75/16
Correction, the camera behind the top of the windshield regulates lane departure, not the sensor in the grill.
any idea what the sensor in the grill does?
It’s a a pre collision Collision sensor
1:25 did you use your big toe to open the window? Lmao
HAHA yes 🤣
Lmao hilarious dude. Thanks for great content, I'm picking up my Tacoma in the morning and literally buying everything (from what's still available 😒) from your exterior mods video, def get a like and sub from me 🤙🏽
Thanks G
I hate those lane departures we have then in our semis
Ah yeah they get annoying
Would you please share the tires, wheels and lift kit you have on it? Love the setup. Is it Pro or OffRoad?
It’s an SR5
265/75/16r
2 inch front spacer
How the heck could you get this truck confused with a pro??
How hard$ is it to add a trailer hitch to a sr 4cyl 2wd?
Not hard at all, I’ve done it actually
Is this cement exterior?
Are your headlights still bright or does the tint kill the brightness? Also how would you rate the headlight brightness out of 10?
I have aftermarket LED, but honestly the old ones were like stock.
@@TheUnrestricted so how’s the brightness? Decent?
Yeah I mean maybe 7/10 stock would be 8/10 so not too bad
are those aftermarket headlights?
Yes they are
1 thing owner should have/Get is cat security system. You just never know when you’ll be a victim of your catalytic converters being stolen.
True
Yes it’s been about 6 months now and still waiting for a cat on my 22 Tacoma 🤦♀️😭
Ooo wow
What package is that tacoma?
sr5
You "actually" did a great job. I "actually" learned allot. "Actually" I can't help tease. But seriously thanks for the great video. You really did a great job.
🤣 thanks
I’m waiting for the Gen 4.
Keep waiting
What S gear is the best to put it while driving?
Good question, Imma do some research on that one!
But for me I only use it when I’m going down a big hill for engine breaking.
I keep mine in S4 for city or anything 40 ish mph or below. Shift up to 5th when need to, then 6th if on the interstate. Sport mode is great on these trucks, I use it all the time.
I’m on country roads.. I mainly leave mine in 5.. but on hills I go to 4… sometimes 3.
FYI: Hill assist isn't standard on the Taco.
TSS did not become standard on all Toyotas until 2020. And TSS does not always include auto high beams.
In line 4. But we get the point. Nice truck.
Do you have an sr5? What year?
Yes 2021
Wow very informative
Thank you
What fogs you running?

I got a 2.7l i4. I didn’t know a v4 was optional, gotta check that one out. 🤣

Aren’t the “two holes” a front wheel bicycle mount ?
Maybe never tried it but Toyota said it was for the bed cover
You can add another slide bar there so you can add spare tire or secure whatever you wish.
