Ahh, thank you, Cassie!! We are fortunate to have these options! Funny story, two years ago, a YT friend, from Florida was staying in Sacramento for her work with FEMA. She joined us in our Donner Lake video, as well as other adventures, anyhoo, she mentioned that it was the first time she had ever swam in a lake! I was like, "wait, what!??" She reminded us that you can't swim in lakes in Florida because of alligators!!! I never thought about that!!! Cheers! 🥤
@@SippyCupAdventures That's awesome! Yes it is! I may have to skip this sunday; I've been busy as well. I also think others are busy too, I've seen a dramatic drop in views with my videos this summer. This was a perfect video!
@@ChooseAdventureCaliforniaStyle Interesting, as my views have gone up. That is typical for me as folks look for Summer things to do. Who knows, in time, you'll get a better representation (we both will), and maybe people reserve hiking and trail walking for Spring and Fall? More family activities take place during the Summer. Huh.
Hey! Wow, this video has become my most viewed video, recently! I should not be shocked as we are heading into Summer! Yeah, if you're in the area, reach out!
Fantastic video. Terrific views and explanation. I took notes for my bucket list and will drill down on the lake specific videos when planning further. Thanks for taking me along.
Another beautiful and super informative video! It is so hot in Pa. I wanted to jump right through the screen into that lake. BTW, LOVE the saying on your cup, LOL
Wow, cool rundown. Some of those smaller lakes I'd never heard of, and they might be good for winter camping. Which, I have a feeling I'll have to do this year, even though I hate being cold... 😁
Looking to possibly relocate to SAC. If I can’t have beaches, then mountains and beautiful lakes will do! SAC looks to be prime location to get to the mountains and the Bay Area within reason
Yes, it is! The fact that we are 2 hours away from Tahoe and 2 hours away from the coast, is a blessing! We live in Roseville, and love it! If you ever have any further questions about the region, feel free to reach out to us by email as our email address is in our About section. Thanks for stopping by! 🥤
Ah, the many beautiful lakes of Cali. There are so many! We hope they're hanging in there with the draught. 😕 We've never been to any of these, so this is an awesome look at them, and guide for anyone considering going. Really beautiful, guys!
Not now being that the water levels are so high! Driving down to the water is only possible when water levels are lower (north of Granite Main beach at Oak point or Dotons Point). TY for watching! 🥤
@@jp9er4life Yeah, well, Natoma is in this video with Folsom. Love Combie, and certainly Whiskeytown! Never been to Berryessa. I have done a video on Union/Utica reservoirs, but again, the video is for lakes about an hour(ish) away from Sacramento. Combie would qualify but I believe its a private lake??
@@SippyCupAdventuresdidn't see natoma just folsom and that place is horrible, ive almost been hit twice by boats. i mixed whiskeytown up with hennesy, but there are quite a few more actually,
I like it when you use a satellite map to show the journey, so the viewers have a good view how far it is. Lovely place for taking a break out
Thank you, Francis!
Gorgeous water!!! Would love to visit each of these beautiful lakes. So pretty.

It's been a while since I was at Upper Lake Clementine. Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for watching!
So many beautiful lakes!
Yes! Thanks for watching!
Nice video tour Darin. I have added Bullard Bar, Folsom Lake & Lake Natoma to my list of drone locations, and plan to visit for a flyover soon.
Wow beautiful areas, love those lakes and the color of the water
Yes! They are amazing! Thanks guys!!
Wow, beautiful lakes! Thanks for sharing.
This is great! Nice idea. 2 of these lakes I've never herd of and look great! Well put together adventure 🙂
Thanks Paul! Yeah, it's tough getting content out during the Summer as we haven't been home! 😆

Can you still drive your car on the sand at Folsom lake?

Bullards Bar is absolutely not a shallow lake. It's one of the deepest lakes in California. The dam is 635 feet above the river bed.
Yes, I realized I erred here about a year after making the video. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful lake and I appreciate you stopping by. 🥤
sly park area has bigfoot , hate that area
U forgot some of the best lakes
Ok, so, to YOU, what are some of these lakes I missed?? I would love to know! Thanks for watching 🥤Go NINERS!
