The main problem I can see is these practice pads have a very different feel and rebound than a real head. I never understood why these drum lessons using snare drums were always recorded using practice pads. Why not use a real drum?

Teach your hands to instinctively adapt to the slightly different bounce of different surfaces and you’re onto a winner IMO. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
