I love how in-depth you went into this. You have made it pretty easy to see the differences in the seats. When we get our bikes, the first things we're going to get are risers and a better seat. I will be saving this video so I can revisit it when that time comes. Thanks for yet another great video.
Thanks for the review! I just bought my Rebel 1100T two days ago and haven't been able to ride it due to rain☹. It's amazing to me that Corbin charges so much but uses material that doesn't hold up. I need to get in the saddle and see how it feels before making a decision, but Mustang might be the way to go for me. Thanks again!
Of course my friend. I do like that they didn't charge me to fix it. The fiberglass underneath the material was cutting in to the seat material and when I sent it back they shaved that down and Its seeming to hold up.
I went with the Mustang Seat and for me at 6ft-240lbs, it gives a taller riding position. I decided to go with the Mustang as opposed to installing forward controls. I’m not so wide in the ass category, so I opted not to go with the Corbin. Also I didn’t like the profile (lines) of the Corbin as it sits on the frame. The Mustang however, looks more OEM and there’s no gap between the seat and tank. Awesome detailed and concise review, thanks. 👏 👍
i currently have the mustang for 3 weeks. Its obviously more comfortable compared to OEM. But still i cant drive more than 2 hours without my butt hurting. (Sorry if english is bad, im german)
Sorry for the late response but it was roxx risers but they are Harley ones. If you go to Lifeofburch’s channel he has a really well done video with all the links to the hardware. I love mine but I will say it doesn’t work with the Honda batwing. I’m getting ready to change my fair so it will work better with the risers.
Hi Jeremiah. Love your channel, been watching for a while now. I am in the market for a new Rebel and your vids have been so helpful. If you were buying now, would you go with the T version, or would you do the upgrades (bags and screen) yourself again?
Thank you so much!! So if I could do it over again I’d still do what I did. I like being hands on and doing things myself. And I think putting the things I want on my bike and making it my own. The T is good if you don’t wanna do any of that which there is nothing wrong with that at all. They look awesome!! It’s up to you in the end. 😊 Hope that helps!
So the mustang sets you more forward?? The corbin allows you to sit back a little further?? What about height wise?? Do you deel upu sit higher on mustang??
@@annehause7118 yes I do feel a little higher on the mustang seat the Corbin for me being a taller rider allows me to sit further back because o my longer arms. It is more comfortable

Thank you my friend I wanted to show off these seats side by side and I hope this video helps you and your wife get a nice seat. Have a great day!!

Appreciate the comparisons. Thinking about this situation myself
I hope this video helps you in your decision making process. 😊

@@WeMustRebell this is true!! Hope to see you on a Rebel soon 😊
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
I see the Corbin seat has rivets underneath, do they scratch up the rear seat rail?
@@jamesbronson3347 only slightly and it’s not all of them. I think I’ve had maybe one or 2 do that.
