Immortal was always intentionally tongue in cheek; especially in their videos. They were completely aware of how ridiculously over the top they were and did not take themselves too seriously at all. Anyone who watches this and complains about the merits of black metal is a jaded cynic who doesn’t realize they’re being 90% trolled.

Laugh at it or take it seriously, either way, it's damn good music! It would be neat to see them live if it wasn't so expensive. As far as being a metalhead, take the music as seriously as you want, but think for yourself. (Thanks to everyone who points out the crabwalk!)
