I have fallen in love with delica after this talk. I saw one man driving it here in Chipata town of eastern Zambia and i immediately surfed UA-cam to get full info about this incredible minivan. It is a great buy .Thanks bro
I have had the 2.4L MIVEC 170Hp 8 seater for 5 years and hasn't dissappointed me yet, feels awesome just like the first time I took her for a spin fitted with original low profile tyres...had to change offcourse to more practical high profile tyres for our roads but I still get the rewarding smiles from family members or friends when I'm up to the challenge and beat the likes of the subarus and prados on full load (7paks+me) along major highways on long tours

Thanks Erick and the boys! I’m in Australia and considering one of these, and it amazes me that in Kenya a D5 costs(after converting to Australian dollars) around the same as a front wheel drive light car like a Toyota Yaris, Mazda2, etc. does here! The D5 isn’t sold in Australia unless imported privately, and they’re second hand and nearly twice the price. You’ve sold me on the diesel, but I don’t know if the Japanese imports we get have the same engine you get. The mileage you’re talking about is not much worse than my 4 year old Mazda2, which is an extremely good 18-19 km/l. 👍
Great review, very generous sharing of details, the Delica D5 is a worthy consideration.......I really enjoyed the review, and the insights were helpful...kudos team!!!
Thank you wokabi, I have been requesting you to review delica D5 both diesel and petrol and give out the differences and which is the best choice on both Facebook and UA-cam for the last 1 year.... I am so happy 😊 today you honoured my request... may God 🙏 bless you sir
You have just influenced me to buy this machine. I was thinking of returnig my Serena then a friend requested me to consider Noah Hybrid. Now I have never considered any Mitsubishi but why not try this?
Delica D5 diesel say 2012 here in New Zealand cost around 25k NZD with around 120 000km. Petrol one with same mileage and year around 17k . Diesels are just way to expensive.

Nice one bro. You actually know how to balance the diet of cars. Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota now it's the famous mitsubishi. Can't wait for the land rover defender.
Thanks for making this great review. It convinced me to go for 2007 D:5 that was for sale here in Canada. And I am not disappointed. It's an excellent car.
Dont buy this for harder off road use. Drivetrain is not built for it. It is so big that easy to overload. Overload will cause suspension/bearing failure, cvt transmission is weak and mpg will get significantly worsen. So use this for what it is meant. 70 road 30% moderate offroad/normal dirt road is recommendable. Heard diesel varients are much better than the underpowerred petrol cvts
I don’t get why people prefer manual gear boxes unless it’s a classic and you want that old fashion feel to a vehicle, auto makes driving much more enjoyable and relaxed
I’m planning on buying a 2010 petrol 2.4 engine. What do you think and what the fuel consumption like?I live in the countryside and city for a couple of days each fortnight.
Thank you for bringing us this review. It appears to be a good vehicle to consider. I have read somewhere that it is actually an Nissan NV200 (or is it NV300?) but made Mitsubishi. Is it true? If so, does it mean one can go for the NV300 instead? What has Mitsubishi done that Nissan and not done on this vehicle? Thank you for for your continued reviews. They are great and will come in handy in vehicle purchase decisions

I've just gotten the Delica D5 Chamonix thanks to your excellent analysis. Thank You. I'm told it comes with a factory installed alarm system. How do I activate it?
Actually it is an engine immobilizer with central lock(keyless entry). My advice is purchase and install an alarm kit that integrates into car system.😊
