This needs to be a mandatory start up video for anyone who boots up TF2 for the first time. So many new players would be better off with this video's message in their minds when first starting to play the game.

I remember watching this video when I was a wee lad. Never in my years of being a TF2 player and fan have I seen any better fan produced product, this animation stands above community made items/assets that have been added to the game in my opinion. The aura this video captures of the player-base and how TF2 felt back in the day is a very genuine time-capsule, at least for me anyway. The GMod animation community and most of the TF2 player-base may be gone but the fact that I was able (Though with a bit of difficulty.) to find this video and it is still as heart warming and epic as it was to me back then is a true test of the metal here. Not to mention as a fan made video from the game that has the high quality "Meet the ..." videos and that this video holds up, the voice mixing has never been done better for any game or piece of media I've seen or heard, it even puts though modern AI voice things to shame. The animation itself is bold and fluid with a mixture of in-game animations which play off each other beautifully. The lesson is good as well as the message, the video itself is great. I would say that this as mandatory as the "Meet the ..." videos Valve has made. It is bittersweet, such fond memories and feelings that are all gone now, there will never be another TF2 nor another 'TF2 Golden Age' and I'm sad to have to accept that, it was once in a life time thing and I am very happy to have been part of the ride and to still be a part of it all, even if it is neglected and underappreciated.

i like how u made the other team mates take extra precaution not to hurt sandvich - controlled heavy, even though he was trying to team kill. it gives a sense of the mercenaries not being complete assholes and just flat out killing him. i especially liked the part when spy made sure to stab heavy with the blunt side of his knife and engineer wrangling the sentry to only hit his gun. its called Team Fortress for a reason well played, sir. and nice use of the Two Steps from Hell, love that dude :)

I've now 1000 hours in tf2. mostly played on pubs, and besides the fact that no one ever listens to the advice of someone else, you would've been votekicked after 30 seconds straight for micspam. hit the bricks pal you're done.

I love this, the music always no matter what will fit what is going on and the sound is always right on que. I think it would be a good idea if you recreate this video in the future once your skills have improved because the lip syncing and the animation kinda threw me off a few times.

i like how you can heal people with the sandvich and heal your self with it, but it is smarter to heal teammates with the sandvich because there could be a medic and you can get a health pack to get a new sandvich. It is kind of like you overcoming the sandvich.
