According to Blades, didn't sound like was likely to ever happen. Not because they had issues, but because the schedules don't work.
I don’t know that you can. Tommy is full time with Styx. They are almost continually on the road touring. He doesn’t really have any time for Damn Yankees, sadly.
They were all on board, except Ted didn't want to tour year round. He only wanted to tour summers, because he wanted to hunt during the other seasons. So, all the other guys went back to their other bands.

They ben trying for years, problem is, styxx is always on tour, schedules have to match, to do a tour it takes 2 years out to go out, , they do get together once in a while if their in the same city, but it's very rare,

Tommy Shaw keeps saying that a full Damn Yankees reunion is "highly unlikely," but come on Tommy. The fans would love to see it and Jack and Ted are down for it. I know Michael Cartellone has been the drummer for Skynyrd since 1999 and I'm not sure if he's commented recently about a Damn Yankees tour or not. Come on Tommy Shaw! Maybe it's Blackfoot who's touring with ZZ Top.

Gosh, what a great performance! Had no idea they were playing in T.C. For the Cherry Festival! Would’ve loved to seen that. Ted was my introduction to rock concerts back in ‘79; Civic Auditorium in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Wango Tango tour. Never looked back after that! Thank you so much for bringing this to the masses! I’ve always been a fan of Night Ranger and Damn Yankees too, so no disrespect intended there!
Hell yes, Darrin!!! I'm a former GR guy too, Creston 83, who made more than a few trips to the Welsh for concerts back in the day. Florida is my home now, but will be making a GR flight in September. Uncle Ted and Night Ranger will forever be some of my rock favorites. Peace!

Went by myself. By happenstance, I met some cats in the parking lot from Kentucky. They asked me to party with them before and during the concert. They outright shared their beer and weed with me even though I had nothing. I was only 16. I wasn't a smoker but they were so gracious, I couldn't say no. I miss those days.

I started to agree with johno6590 below, and then I thought - wait a minute. Gillis has been in my top five quitarists of all time since the early 80's. His precision and skill with the tremolo bar are not matched by many. If he is less well known, its just because Night Ranger was not in a league with Led Zeppelin, The Who, Journey, etc when it came to record sales. And I agree that his sliding into Rhoades slot on a moment's notice showed an abundance of talent.

I saw these guys and jackal in Ft Wayne Indiana in 92 I think it was. I was 21 and still in the Army, it was a hell of a good night. I went with this older gal who worked for my dad and I ditched her and met a girl my age who gave me a hand job as i stood behind her. Great memories
Saw these guys live back in 2015 where I live. They opened for Rick Springfield. Although they are Night Ranger, they actually did the Damn Yankees song "High Enough" because someone in the audience was wearing a Damn Yankees shirt. What an awesome concert!! Awesome group!!

Uncle Ted is one of the baddest musicians in rock and roll, and is a hilarious character! I miss him being around Michigan and Detroit and when he'd guest DJ on the radio stations here. You never knew what you'd get but it was guaranteed to make you laugh as well as piss off a bunch of people. haha

Once Deer hunting season open up in Michigan he will come back for a few months to hunt in Michigan and Wisconsin for the season then he will fly back to Texas to stay at his other ranch he said and hunt in Texas as well . He just had his last tour and wont be going on the road on long tours anymore because he hates staying in hotels and motels and generally traveling a lot and decided to stop to be with his wife dogs and grandkids he said but ! He did say he would do small gigs at times at different venues and is coming out with some lost music that was recorded many years ago that is going to made on vinyl and CD for people to buy that nobody has ever heard before except him and his band and the recording studio and engineer that recorded and mixed the music .

Saw Damn Yankees when they were the opener for Bad Company's Holy Water Tour (without Paul Rogers). They blew Bad Company away. Then a couple of years later , saw Damn Yankees when they were the headliner with Jackyl opening. Had a front row seat.
I never heard of this group or Night Ranger before I moved to Las Vegas in 93 Blades is amazing I was working to much anyways I am glad Damn Yankees is back more like you guys metal better together cannot wait to see Yankees in concert.

Damn Yankees were such a good band, one of the early examples of the "Super Bands" , and yes Brad Gillis is such an underrated player and historical figure, being able to fill in for Randy in Ozzys band, I couldn't imagine what an unpleasant and difficult situation that was, put the guitar playing aside because that's a whole other mountain to climb, but to fill in after a member had passed away, having to deal with a drug addict alcoholic boss, rabid fans who were I'm sure not easy to please, and then to play Randys parts . What a good guy Brad Gillis is. And all these years have never ever heard him bad mouth OZZY or Sharon.

I saw these guys and jackal in Ft Wayne Indiana in 92 I think it was. I was 21 and still in the Army, it was a hell of a good night. I went with this older gal who worked for my dad and I ditched her and met a girl my age who gave me a hand job as i stood behind her. Great memories

Saw these guys live back in 2015 where I live. They opened for Rick Springfield. Although they are Night Ranger, they actually did the Damn Yankees song "High Enough" because someone in the audience was wearing a Damn Yankees shirt. What an awesome concert!! Awesome group!!

Uncle Ted is one of the baddest musicians in rock and roll, and is a hilarious character! I miss him being around Michigan and Detroit and when he'd guest DJ on the radio stations here. You never knew what you'd get but it was guaranteed to make you laugh as well as piss off a bunch of people. haha

Once Deer hunting season open up in Michigan he will come back for a few months to hunt in Michigan and Wisconsin for the season then he will fly back to Texas to stay at his other ranch he said and hunt in Texas as well . He just had his last tour and wont be going on the road on long tours anymore because he hates staying in hotels and motels and generally traveling a lot and decided to stop to be with his wife dogs and grandkids he said but ! He did say he would do small gigs at times at different venues and is coming out with some lost music that was recorded many years ago that is going to made on vinyl and CD for people to buy that nobody has ever heard before except him and his band and the recording studio and engineer that recorded and mixed the music .

Saw Damn Yankees when they were the opener for Bad Company's Holy Water Tour (without Paul Rogers). They blew Bad Company away. Then a couple of years later , saw Damn Yankees when they were the headliner with Jackyl opening. Had a front row seat.
Saw that show and tour bad co sucked without Paul Rodgers rock on Ted a legend

I never heard of this group or Night Ranger before I moved to Las Vegas in 93 Blades is amazing I was working to much anyways I am glad Damn Yankees is back more like you guys metal better together cannot wait to see Yankees in concert.

Damn Yankees were such a good band, one of the early examples of the "Super Bands" , and yes Brad Gillis is such an underrated player and historical figure, being able to fill in for Randy in Ozzys band, I couldn't imagine what an unpleasant and difficult situation that was, put the guitar playing aside because that's a whole other mountain to climb, but to fill in after a member had passed away, having to deal with a drug addict alcoholic boss, rabid fans who were I'm sure not easy to please, and then to play Randys parts . What a good guy Brad Gillis is. And all these years have never ever heard him bad mouth OZZY or Sharon.
