I relate to everything you said. It has taken me to a place where I had to make a lot of decisions about how I will live. One of them was, "Do not cast your pearls before swine" and wanting goodness for everyone, makes that hard to do, however we are not in control of others, and it is for us to see when to stop, and let them learn on their own. My heart is broken for your daughter, I saw the video of the wedding, and it was just wonderful, fun, and a fantastic family affair. I'm sorry it had to be taken down, but please don't let that lessen the event for you, I loved it. The loss of her baby is indeed for a reason, and although we have no idea why, You and I know that, that child is in heaven with our Lord, and no amount of grief is ever enough for a baby. Let the grief have it's way, let it out, so it can be laid to rest, with the innocent child it was, while here. I spent quite a while tube feeding my husband, and it puts you in a place where there is no control, so I know that pain. You will only be able to do what you can, but that is all. Feeling grief over it will not help. Being faced with the truth is impossible to deal with, but it's a message. Your given the understanding before all is lost. Take it, know it, and be ready for when others have to face it too. I can tell you one thing for sure. You were supposed to find homes for your chicken family. Each time I watched them, I got the same message, you would give them away. I had no idea why I thought that, but I did. I do know that it has something to do with a problem, but don't know what. Your doing the right thing. I seldom share these types of thoughts I have, but knew right away that I had to say something when you said that they have homes. I'm thrilled that they have a place to go, and that they are safe. I know you love them, but it is right that they will be gone from you. I only wish I knew why, but I don't ask, once I'm shown that it's the right thing to do. You have been a huge inspiration to me since I lost my husband, and the grief of losing him has almost killed me, he was the love of my life. You helped me get through that, and we are here for you too. Your smile, kept me going, your laugh, your instruction, all of it, was one of the only ways I got through. You will too, and I hope and pray that you cry your heart out, and get back to feeling dirt in your hands, sharing your likes and dislikes, and in that way. bring healing back to your soul. The grief may be very deep, but the healing will change you, in a way that you will see, that there really is a reason for it, and it's a good one. I promise. Hello E. You are so so right that it is only people that matter. Yes everyone needs money to live and eat and have basic amenities but the materialism that the world is caught in is very sad. And considering the exposure the younger generations have to media and the "things" money can buy, it is really tough to set the right value systems in place. In the midst of the storm , things seem impossible but we need to have faith that tomorrow is another day. Depression is so consuming, luckily you have your garden and I am sure you will come out of it. Until then, hang in there my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hello my friend, I don't usually comment on certain subjects, but I felt compelled to speak to you. In my 64 years of life on this planet of ours, I think I have been through most of what life has to throw at you, so I do feel confident that I understand what you are going through. Bad thing hitting you in a single fashion most people can cope, but when multiple things hit you all at once, its very hard to cope, emotionally, with it. Life can be very cruel at times, it seems that all its about is loving and loosing! You sometimes feel that you will never recover from the heartaches that all trauma, and grief bestows upon you! There IS light at the end of the tunnel, always, and as you say, you just need TIME! You will find your way ahead, it will take time, and you will retain some bad memories of the things that has happened to you, probably forever. However, it will become easier for you in time. I'm glad that you said that you will continue with the Y.T. videos, that will surely help you cope. But know this, that we are all here for you, always, for however long it takes. I tend to put value in pets or hobbies or just watching the grass grow. I'll tell a little story.....I just lost my best friend ( my first wife ) We have been friends for over 50 years. You know what I miss most? I could call her and tell her what I was doing or discuss a TV program or find out what our two daughters were doing.She even helped me through my other two failed marriages. People my age are now leaving this world for a better place. I have found new friendships on youtube and I'm genuinely concerned about their welfare. I have not show a current face.My health is suffering. But, I am trying hard to let go. Regain myself. I thought I would regret this video. But it is starting to pull me back to I am not alone. They are going to have a fundraiser at the Charlack pub. Saturday the 9th. noon to 5 or 6. It is near Overland. MO. Lackland and St. Charles Rock road. If you would like to help her. And knowing my niece is in turmoil from the fact if she lives, she is then homeless. And her kids will be too. I can not fathom the pain she is in. Dying with all that stress.
