I am eyeing a 19 to add in my collection but thinking to start with a basic black lambskin, and then if my finances allow it, add one in that caramel colour like yours eventually :) I also personally find the tri-coloured hardware a nice feature of the 19!
Can you help me decide between the two? I have 3 classic flaps and wondering if I should I add another due to the new bag quotas and price increases or is it worth skipping for 19? 😣 I can’t see in store only waitlists
I have got small blue color 19 recentlt and I also had black double flap bag last year. By comparsion,I like the 19 the most. As hearing the news from Chanel, the price of 19 will be increased in June.

I am 5.2 and just bought the black 19...I am thinking about taking it back for a classic flap.. it is cool but it hits on my hip / butt area and looks kind of weird.. I like carrying it as a top handle. see how big and poofy it looks as a crossbody in the video?
Very informative and helpful video.. Update about Chanel 19 hardware.. There's now a seasonal version with all black hardware.. It looks stunning with white leather.. Very tempting for me 😅

Hey Steph (great name!) haha. I don't have any WOCS I'm afraid. I have a YSL one but it's basically a small clutch bag. I don't find WOCS work for me as they're too small. If you don't need to carry much, they're a great option! Let me know what you decide
The 19 is so 2022....the classic double flap is her rich auntie. I love the versatility of the 19....but for ROI.....one should consider the 2.55. Love how you can wear the 19 much more casually.
@@Handbagholic Quite right, and it’s so weird because I love the colour and have knits, coats and other items in this colour but I really don’t like this colour in the 19 or classic flap. Some of their handbags are becoming a bit tacky for want of a better word. I’m more of a Reissue with Ruthenium kind of girl, it’s historical yet contemporary whilst having a subtle luxury presence.

I just can’t get behind the oversized smooshy leather on the 19. Same with the YSL LouLou, it just looks cheap to me. I’ve always preferred more structured bags so perhaps I’m biased! The leather for the 19 just looks really ugly to me 🤭
Hi there! No the classic flap is not mine I borrowed it to film with. I’m not sure why. But I’ve never felt the need to add a CF to my collection so far.

I like the 19 but not in that colour. I really detest the classic flap because it’s a Granny bag or at least my Granny’s bag 😂
It's all down the personal preference. Lots of colours to choose from for the 19!
