I love the chains. Top handle, and the cross body . It's actually perfect.

My husband just bought me this bag yesterday in navy and i am OVER THE MOON with it! U r right, it is edgy and youthful but it does appeal to more seasoned ladies as well! (I am 41 btw and consider myself somewhat seasoned lol) It’s everything a classic Chanel bag is and so much more!

I have three, two mediums and one small. I love them all!! It’s my favorite bag for sure! (The small is the black and white tweed) the other two is the beige and then the black.

I got the medium (large) one for $5,100. My SA suggested that size for me. I'm 5ft 7in and about 150. She ordered it and it came in. I love it but I know if I saw the small in person and saw it would hold all I needed (and save me money) I would have gotten the small (regular size). I prefer it to be more firm looking and I feel it looks more polished in the smaller size. Its ok. I'm still loving mine. I use pouches in the bag for my items and that keeps the shape of the bag nice for me.

In the UK Chanel website it says this bag is made from goatskin, not lambskin. I would buy this preloved, that are my thoughts for now. I also really like Saint Laurent puffer bag, the only thing is back pocket is missing there.
I confirmed with my SA when I got the bag that it is lambskin and on the UK website I see that it does say lambskin for the size I have (it might be different for the larger sizes). The YSL puffer is really cute! It’s a similar vibe 💖

I’m not the biggest fan of Chanel Bags, but this is a style I do like looking at.
Probably won’t purchase until nearer the end of 2020! I have savings goals to prioritize 😣

So beautiful! In love 🖤 I actually was wondering about the size as I much prefer a smaller size for many reasons and I am also more of a structured bag gal therefore was considering this size or the large but everyone is going for the maxi or large saying it needs to be bigger to look right 🤷🏼♀️ but I think it looks that bit classier and is more wearable in the smaller sizes 😁
Jacqueline I have to agree with you - personally I’m not a fan of the larger sizes, something looks off to me and I think the proportions with the top handle don’t look great but hey I’m biased 😉💖

I bought the Chanel 19 maxi in dark beige after seeing you cop your medium in NY. I think the maxi looks good with puffy winter coats and oversized clothing. But I agree the maxi can look disproportionate if the right outfit isn’t paired with it. 💕👍🏼

This is RIGHT up my alley. The classic Chanel is a bit too "mature" for me. This is more carefree. If I had the cash I wouldve gotten it. However your cons are very, very valid.

Hi Cassie, just watched your wonderful video and I love the small 19 as much as you do! I am 71 and bought it in red, I agree that it is an ageless bag. The main reason I bought it was that I think it is young and hip looking and a great everyday bag. I chose red because I am an outgoing, full of life and a fun person and this bags screams "hey, look at me I'm the latest and greatest Chnel."

My husband surprised me today with the Chanel bag and I am loving her specially with the different metal and the lamb skin just like you said it’s tougher so it’s not going to dent as other soft leathers. i received my vitage chanel shoulder bag yesterday out of the 90‘s in perfect condition. blsck caviar leather with gold hardwear (the gold plated one, but not sure if its 14k or something else). im super happy with it 😍

Honestly either it becomes a permanent or isn’t...that will not take away from the fact of how timeless and YASSS ageless the design of it is, perfect size...anything bigger would look a little dated soon and structure won’t hold up...tricolor chain?-I’m all for it! Sneakers to sling backs, shopping trip to the grand salon-this bag will carry you through the day right into the night...the extra puffy exaggerated quilting looks soooo fresh! Since you're so good at this, I bought a lambkin one made in 2019 fashionphile recently and also bought a brand new one lambkin from the store so now I have two colors, but it is completely different texture and feel from the new Lamkin in the store from the one that was made in 2019. Not sure when yours was made if you can do your research you're so good at this, next time you are in the boutique, can you feel the new black one that they have in lambkin and let me know if it feels like the one you have

It’s definitely fun but I’m a structured bag kind of person 😅 Kinda worried over time the bag will fall flat
Jenny H this is the reason I purchased the boy-My heart still flutters when I look at mine. I do like the fact that I can wear the boy on the shoulder two different ways-chain with leather strap or chain alone! I can also crossbody it and it goes perfect with dresses or casual street wear-it’s quite amazing imo.
