Eight is Enough was one of the Best shows on T.V. in the Late 70s and early 80s. A large Family with lots of Drama in it to make it Believable. One of my Favorite eposides was when Tommy received a Christmas Gift from his Mother who had Recently Died. I was bawling My eyes out it was so moving to Me. They don't have Family Shows like that anymore, and it's Sad that they don't.
It would be great however the young people of this current world don't want anything good or anything about the past to be put into their minds because it goes against their thinking and upbringing!!!!!
You missed Michael Goodrow, who played Tommy's best friend, Ernie. Also, on the show, David was the oldest child, but according to this video, it was Joanie who was the oldest.
Noticably, 3 members of Eight is Enough: Ralph Macchio, Connie Needham and Jeffrey Byron all STILL look stunning even in their later years. Ralph must be practicing karate to upkeep a youthful appearance and the other two, Jeffrey and Connie have life-long flawless complexions.... BTW, Adam Rich, still rich-looking in humorous sweetness......I always tuned in to that show, especially as I claimed it to be visiting my all-@ tv bestie for the '70s/early '80s Nicholas Bradford
Such a boring show, I remember as a kid watching it on wednesday night because nothing else was on. MAD magazine did a spoof on it called "Eight is Too Rough"
Just barely okay. The mediocre dialogue and scenes. Betty Buckley has no talent but for some reason she has friends. I can never see why. Plus I always hate the bone structure of her face plus the unfortunate tone of her voice. Scared of Lani, Elizabeth, Susan and the big bangs and high foreheads. Wanting the youngest to be forever cute and small and never grow up as he did balding and with poor vision. Goodeve DNA gifted. There is no way this show could ever be great. It only shows the interior of homes like this that you never in your lifetime get to see.

What a great time and a wonderful show this was, nothing like this anymore !!!!!
Wish time stood still back then
Wrong picture for Ms. O'Grady.
Lani O'Grady latest photo is not her.
Yes, the picture on the right is Gail O'Grady, not Lani.
It should come down
Bring back more shows like this.

Wow my Fave TV series back then.. !!!
You forgot the actress who played the mom Diana Hyland
Yep...and I don't think that pic is Lani O'Grady either.
@@theire483 - Right? The 2nd photo looks like the eyes are a different color, too. Not her.
I think the more recent picture of Lani O'Grady is actually Gail O'Grady.
You forgot Dick Van Pattens's best friend Michael Thoma and Grant Goodeve's wife. Some of the pictures are wrong as well.
You forgot to add Joan Prather she played David's wife in the show.
Where was Mark Hamel ,? Later of Star Wars fame. He played the first son in the original pilot show.
Why isn't this on me tv, cozi tv and other channels?
That now picture of Lani O’Grady is not Lani O’Grady.
Another great seventies show, some of the people towards the end of the video I don't recognise.
The now photo of actress Jennifer Darling is clearly wrong
Great

It's not Lani O'Grady on the 2001 picture, it's Gail O'Grady who is alive and well !!! Be careful 😡

Although very very poorly worded I am inclined to agree with your comment
