overall decent build, i saw a couple items i would do different, but very nice! wish i had a shop, will have to work outside with tarp oh well. but done metal work 35 years, never attempted anything like this
If you add bags you’ll wanna dump air when you’re unloaded if you’re looking for a better ride. More air=stiffer. Add air when you’re loaded to stay as level as possible. Only other thing I’d add is regarding welding to the frame. Definitely want to be careful welding across the top flange, no matter how good a bead you lay, it stresses the frame a lot on either side of the weld and makes it very likely to crack and eventually fail completely. Not trying to be a safety Sally, just something I’ve learned the hard way
That project went on the back burner for now because I changed jobs and don’t need it at the moment but one of these days I’ll show more of that build.
