    You might consider that this is a teaching video for the benefit of the viewer. Slow, demonstrative, making sure he's in frame, stopping to confirm understanding, showing the watcher from several angles till he's sure the student "gets it". I expect if you self-proclaimed speed monsters practiced this technique using your existing proficiency, you could turn out these lonely eating fillets quickly and efficiently. The student says, "I'll do those today." And I think some of the chuckles are a tacit understanding that he'll need to practice the technique several times to get it quick and clean. I'm certainly going to try it, and as clumsy as I am, I bet it will be an improvement in speed and quality... And a reduction in the least fun part of catch-clean-cook. Who knows. It might even feel fun with a nice sharp tool prepared in advance. Kind of like going to the range... You're already choosing what you're going to have playing on the TV while you've got all the weapons you had fun shooting and your cleaning supplies laid out on that stained and worn out bath towel.

    • @jerrymatzen1622
      @jerrymatzen1622 Рік тому +1

      @Gord Monteath I split it open flatten it out roll it in flour with alittle salt and pepper then let it sit by itself on a plate for like 5 to 10 minits and it will get alittle doughy then fry it along with your fillets those perch have the flavored roe check it out, good luck with your Fishing !
