Good on you man, for not acting like a know it all and admitting you learned something new. I've seen some youtubers get all hostile because a commenter pointed out an error they made. Respect!
Ive seen like 30 videos and honestly your was the best understanding ive seen.
Yep the youngest one so far nearly moved on to next one without watching but did and was the best explanation so far 👍
Thanks for the video. I was discouraged after 20 minutes was up and there were no bubbles but after 15 more minutes we started seeing bukoo bubbles. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone else stopped at 20 minutes with no bubbles. Thanks again for the video!
Sir, this video saved my butt big time!!! I had to change out a broken throttle inlet hose and I didn't know I had to do this.
I switched out the house, then started the car and it started fine, but when I put in reverse my car stalled out. Then, it wouldn't start at all. I scoured UA-cam and came across this video. I followed your directions and my car started!!! And it works just fine now!!! So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!
Yup that works like a charm. I see other UA-camrs open up the bleeder valve, but with that funnel you don't really have to.
Thank you 🙏🏽
I just watched several other coolant bleeding videos and this was the only one with a good explanation.
I'm an old timer and I thought I knew everything about everything but this burp funnel kit proved I didn't. Saved my a$$ on my over heating problem. Great video.
Thank you 🙏🏽
I would just like to say this guy is cool for days. A nice legit person which is rare these days. 👍👍💪💪
Had this done by the shop today, nice to see how it was done. I paid zero for it as they had done work on my rad a couple of months ago and I started having issues. They told me that sometimes it can take a while for the bubbles to show themselves in the system.
Thank you! I've been looking for a good video on how to do it since the heater core has air bubbles (you will hear a water flow-like sound behind the dash after turning off the engine) and I have a Lancer, so this is the perfect one because idk where is the bleeder valve is haha. I'm definitely going to use that video to get that resolved.
Thank you for the help after replacing the radiator but experiencing higher than normal temps, this funnel is a god send
Thank you for that tip it is wonderful I'm still going to try for my car has been doing that for a minute but I'm glad I watched your video it is so easy thank you so much I will watch more maybe you can help me figure out why the smoke is coming from the tailpipe
Just applied what was suggested by your video after having replaced cooling system parts due to overheating incident. System did not automatically kick the radiator fan until I got rid of the air in the coolant system. After that my car just functioned perfectly/normally. I have a feeling when air is in the system, temperature sensors can not sense actual temperature from the coolant because the line is partially void with air. Your video is very perfect for my needs at the time I was about to be hopeless fixing my car. Thank you very much. I wish more people will see your video.
Thank you 🙏🏽 so much!
Great video. I had to burp my system due to a leak and loosing all the fluid. Followed your steps and everything worked like a charm. Thanks
I’m so happy I was able to help 🙏🏽😊
I liked this video alot because you were very clear in explaining each step and you showed me how easy it was and you were very neat and not careless so this shows me I can do it and not be scared thank you I'm going to check it out right now.
Thank you so much! Let me know how it turns out! 🙏🏽😊👍🏽
I'm about to replace my thermostat, housing, coolant sensors and flushing my system and this is the final step I'm gonna do so thanks so much for the heads up! Imma buy that funnel kit now haha. Hope all this works on my old 98' plymouth breeze lol
Props for warning about the carbon monoxide. Love the attention to detail
Very informative. I just had the cap open while running the car and squeezing the hose 😂
That’s another great way bro, but there is still many hidden bubbles trapped in there 😔
also with the no spill funnel it brings the coolant level above the top of your engine, which somehow helps bring the bubbles up easier
Hell.yeah man. Worked the first time. Ive tired other methods but this is the best one !! The 20 mins is crucial !
Mine was over heating
Thank you 🙏🏽
That engine looks sweet! I like how you paid attention to detail and keep it so clean The color choices look good too!
Nice vid. I have maintained two old z's and my truck. Never have I done this burp thing but never have I had the spraying issue I am having with a friends truck. I feel so much smarter lol thanks.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Good video. If I just remove the cap with no funnel, will I have the same result? Or the system will swallow more air?
That's what I was wondering
Really nice and informative vid, hoping to see more how-to's. Much love & respect, keep it up
Thank you so much bro! Means a lot!!🙏🏽😊
This was very helpful, thanks for posting the video
Great instructional vid. Clear instructions, good safety tips. Good visuals on every step. And that funnel rocks.
You're supposed to leave the fan off to the heater, but put it to hot plus you can squeeze that radiator hose all day long and you'll get it gurgling like that.
A helpful suggestion when burping your system. Put your vehicle on a slight slope having your front end higher or put the front end on jack stands.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing I appreciate it went and bought the kit today ... Needless to say works like a charm. Much appreciated 👍
Straight fire as always, keep them vids coming broski. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much bro 🙏🏽😊
Very informative and helpful. Just ordered my no spill funnel, soon will be able to check my system. Thanks very much.
Yo u were good at explaining, you helped out alot man. Keep up the good work and always explain the way you did on this video it really does help
is it the same for cars that dont have a radiator cap but instead a reservoir?
Ha ha, my dude clearly took a smoke break and is feeling good now @8:00
Nice ride and great video I would love to run with you down the track
Great video , great explanation, I've seen many other videos & yours was the best . Great job .
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽
GENIVO9 thank you SIR for this amazing video very helpful! You learn from your fella subscriber and l learnd from you because recently l replace my radiator o. My vehicle l just remove the old radiator and pump! New one on added antifreeze and done by my surprise hot car since then. But this weekend l will see again the complete video to refresh my mind again!!!! 09- 03-2020 . Thanks for sharing this video!
Thanks for the sharing buddy, I have been noticing a little overheat on my engine recently. I will check that and see if it has something to do with that. Great video
Super helpful man thank you so much
Thank you 🙏🏽
When using a coolant bleeding funnel if I never stop seeing bubbles does that mean my head gasket is blown on the exhaust side?
Yes.
Although not sure why you mention exhaust side.
Coolant channels run all around the combustion chamber so a leak on any side of the gasket between the combustion chamber and the water jacket will give you your symptoms.
Thank you for this informative video.
Just wanted to know if air bubbles/pockets could cause the heater to not blow hot air through the vents and if this coolant system burping/bleeding process would solve that problem too.
there was a comment that it could take more than 20 mins for some. So is it advised to idle it for 30 mins instead?
Lastly, the heater should be turned to max heat but a what about the fan speed? Low or high?
Thank you
Low speed high heat for the heater.
dont buy the bleeder funnel at auto zone its 40$ out of the 10 videos ive seen on this topic this is absolutely the most thorough and well done
Do you,…by any chance have another channel on UA-cam about fixing up things around houses such as floors, doors and electrical wiring?
Bro your whip is clean asf. And that’s coming from a guy who sees and drives a lot of cars everyday at my work. Lol
SUPER HELPFUL!!! ACTUALLY EXPLAINED HOW TO USE THANKS!
THE BEST🙏🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆YOU SAVED MY LIFE 💯
Ayy thanks for the shoutout lol
Thank you for saving my Evo!! 🙏🏽😊
I hope you thanked him.he saved your car.

Thanks for the video, I learned a lot.. I think that's the problem of my car, that's why I am experiencing temperature guage is rising, I need to do this.. is the 20 minutes time enough to take out all the air ? Thank you
Nicely done
Good evening my friend and nice to meet you!
How can i apply all your steps shown in the video without using the no spill funnel kit safely and effectively?
Great video bro! I use those Harbor Freight floor pads as knee pads too LOL
Yay!! Haha
Nice video. Great teacher!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Haaha great work!!..im glad that suggestion helped!!..
Thank you bro! 🙏🏽😊
I assumed that you already bleed it! Good thing he told you!
I know bro! So awesome he did! 🙏🏽😊👍🏽 best subscribers ever!
One thing to note. There is no need to jack front of the car. Air bubbles tends to escape at highest point of coolant system. And of course, in this case it will be level of your coolant in spill free funnel. More engine works, it builds up heat so coolant level in spill free funnel just gets higher an helps bubbles to escape. Regards from Serbia
Nice and neat thanks
Great direction. Simple and should be effective. I haven't bled the engine coolant yet. But I'm noticing that the motor (B18C) temp passes the halfway mark on the cluster gauge and the fan don't turn on (after 20 minutes on idle). Upper hose is HOT and bottom hose is still COLD. I recently did a swap (D16 to '97 B18C ITR on my 89 Honda Civic hatch Si). We installed new thermostat (dealer), aftermarket water pump, ECT sending unit, fan switch, radiator w/ cooling fan, and hoses. I don't know why the thermostat appears to be not opening. Got any ideas? Thanks.
Your EVO is 🔥🔥 bro, 4g63 love.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽😊
Awesome video, Thanks
Thanks a lot man for making this video
Thanks for making these videos man - putting on a new radiator and bleeding the whole system soon so good to make sure I'll be doing things properly. Cheers
I had an oil change & they added coolant past the cold line with orange when I use green. After driving, I hear a few "gulps" at the reservoir. Do I need to bleed it or is it head gasket issue?
You should post a video on tips to buying your first evo. Cuz you know how these cars are hard to finance
Ofcourse that’s a great idea 👍🏽thank you!
Nicely done. Thanks for the vid.
Did you jack up the back of car or the front
Some formen/mechanic in my country just using 1.5L mineral water bottle to burp the cooling system. Practical.
Nice bro!
The plastic won't melt?
@@valjean2036 doesn’t melt for a long time of period. But yeah, it shrink a little bit because of the heat.
A1 how to.
wille williamsson
I don’t have oil in water or water in oil but keep getting air in my collant system. Can it still be the head gasket? It runs well for a few hours after bleeding the system but then it builds up pressure and air again.
Ford Fiesta 2005 1.4
Where I can buy that radiator cap kit to bleed properly my cooling system
Please check the link I provided on the description of this video 👍🏽😊🙏🏽
Well explained
The new evo forum 🙌🏻 haha
Haha come get me bros haha 😂
Wont you have to fill it up again when its cooled down as the fluid expands when being hot?
The plastic overflow reservoir takes care of that issue you mentioned. Hot[Max] & Cold [Min]
My xb 06 is going through the same shit I need that funnel
Nice Video as always.
Thank you so much! means a lot!
why yours doesnmt need to be refilled evberytime the fan comes on, when i was burping mine everytime the fan comes on the radiator sucks all the coolant and i had to refill
Coolant explode in my car before fan start working? Why is that? Maybe fans not working? I replace relay and fans they new. What else can be?
Thanks for the help
Nice funnel tho! Where can i get one of those?
Please check the link on the description of the video 🙏🏽😊👍🏽
Did you use one jug or two?
Thank's man..awesome video
Question: whenever I turn on my car, I hear water sloshing behind my dashboard, is this the reason why?
I'm hearing the sloshing on my car too. Did you try this and if so, did it fix it?
You have to much air in your system. Air creates empty space for the liquid to splash around. You just need to bleed the air out and add more coolant. Add the right amount and coolant to avoid future issues.
Nice Video bruh! Thanks a lot
Thank you sooo much! 🙏🏽😊
Nice!!!! Can’t wait to see it in flesh!!! I mean metal!!!
Haha thanks bro
Question?? would this be something I need to do if my car 🚘 overheats only when the air conditioner is on?
I tried bleeding the coolant on my miata. I was waiting 10 minutes in and saw some weird fumes/smoke coming out from the trans tunnel and got spooked so I stopped lol. I was thinking that it might just be my new cat or the oil from the oil leak burning off.
regardless though, this helped me a lots lol
You could've had excess oil burning off somewhere, if the smoke/fumes was white it was probably coolant hitting the engine block
Thx bro!
Nice Video😇👍
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽
Actually if you turn on ac it will cycle quicker because more load on engine. Also want to give throttle to vary rpm a bit to get out locked bubbles
Elbow is for side mounted radiator hole.
Is that pre-mixed watter/coolant? Or pure coolant? Looked thick.
It’s type 2 coolant, for Asian cars.. 50/50
I wouldn't use that coolant again it's hygroscopic so it going to build up moisture in there and it will change the viscosity of the coolant
Hey man, having a little issue wondering if you could help.
Dash is fluctuating a lot after thermostat and radiator change, never did this before. Was driving fine and anytime I gassed above 4k rpm I could visibly see the needle go up then as soon as I stopped gassing it went right back down. I’ve been trying to get any air out and still haven’t gotten it all out.
I tried to use the no spill funnel that I bought and the adapters wouldn’t fit properly so when the engine was running coolant started coming out the cap they provided.
My car keeps overheating and splurging out coolant after I turn it off. I’m gonna try this
Dope content bro🤘🏽💪🏽
Thank you sooo much bro! 🙏🏽😊
did you test your car on coolant electrolisys? watch out what coolant you use it is represented by colors and by aware what oil you use its deadly for cars by the way alternator static and audio static is bade busine's for you as well
galing mo pare koy!
Thank you po! 🙏🏽
On a classic, just press down the upper hold - 10 secondas will do
Whag do i do if my climate control dosent work?
Thanks Genevo! Cool helpful vid!
How do I stop needing to burp to radiator? I don't want to do this every week this winter. This question is impossible to google because all results are instructions on how to burp.
