K40 Test Fire Options Using Lightburn

  • After upgrading my K40 controller board only one thing was missing, the "test fire" function.
    I show two ways to do this using Lightburn.

    Im happy that You are happy for ESP upgrade but on slate by whisperer my pictures look better.... sorry mate

      The quality of an image is not dependent on the type of controller or the software driving it. It is a product of the quality of the original image, the way it is processed and the preparation of the material used.

    Depending on your power supply there is a spot to connect a test fire button. I will get a picture of my setup later today and share with you if you would like.

      That's true, however it fires the laser without setting the power. So you have a huge risk to fire at full power

    Curious why you can't wire the momentary test button to the laser switch button, then rather than lock on lock off it will make the same contact with the momentary test and then your test button will work, ??
