@@prettyinpinky5937 she's not just 'a friend' of seth, she's a literal writer on his show and has her own show on peacock. not to mention she's been in second city, boom chicago, has hosted the writers guild of america awards, and auditioned for snl in 2014. though you are right that it's only 'huge' celebs.

I wonder if that is an intentional play on the somewhat well known line that goes something like, _"79% of all statistics are made up on the spot."_ My guess, considering they are both accomplished comedy writers, is that it is a running joke since that is their stock-in-trade . . . .

I’ll be honest after watching her tell her stories, I was more open to telling my stories as well. Bigots might not have gotten it but you empowered me.
She empowers us all, and I'm an old white man. She is a patriot and a warrior for peace by doing her part for morale. Humor becomes joy, which becomes hope which becomes strength and optimism for what we must endure right now.

@@ivarbrouwer197 It's very easy to read Dutch for German native speakers. The pronunciation and specific sounds you have to get used to a little, but it's really very possible to easily understand Dutch as a German, especially if you also know English.

To your question: I'm watching this because I love the genuine laughs the crew has, the really solid comedic take on the news, the comedy bits and mostly the Closer Look. I tried so many shows after Jon Steward stopped I had to get my fix. I think quite some dutch people watch the shows, because we grow up with subtitles and can follow english shows pretty good.
I have a question to you: Doyou (or Jan) know Zondag met Lubach (Sunday with Lubach)? It's a satire program in the style of Olivers last week tonight but with Late Night w/ Seth Meyers elements as well.
